Tbh, the place felt pretty quiet while I was there, which worked for me. Service was chill, not overly chatty but attentive enough to make you feel sorted. Not much else caught my eye, but that tea? Would defo tell my friends to try it out if they’re into oolong.“

“Yumi Time is one of those low-key neighborhood spots that quietly wins you over with real comfort food and genuinely kind service. A Taiwanese homestyle flavors, and everything we tried tasted like it was cooked with patience instead of shortcuts.
The braised pork rice bowl was the first “okay, this is legit” moment. The pork was chopped into glossy, tender cubes with that rich soy-braised aroma, spooned generously over hot white rice. It hit the perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet, with enough collagen-y goodness to feel luxurious without being greasy. The little pop of bright pickles on the side (and fresh cilantro on top) kept each bite clean and addictive.
The noodle soup was just as satisfying. It came in a big metal bowl with a clear, comforting broth, loads of bean sprouts and greens, and a braised egg that tasted properly marinated. The noodles were light and slurpable, and the soup had that simple, clean depth that’s hard to get right—especially when you want something soothing but still flavorful. Add a touch of chili (if you like heat) and it becomes even more craveable.
We also ordered the braised pork knuckle bowl, and it’s absolutely worth it if you like melt-in-your-mouth texture. The skin and meat were tender, richly seasoned, and paired perfectly with rice, pickled ginger, and herbs. It’s hearty, satisfying, and the kind of dish that makes you slow down and enjoy the whole bowl.
Don’t skip the side dish with tofu puffs and cabbage—soft, spongey tofu that soaks up sauce, plus cabbage that stays crisp-tender. It’s a great add-on to balance the richer braised items.
Service was a highlight. Staff were warm, attentive, and quick to check in without hovering. Food came out fast, everything was neatly plated, and the overall vibe felt relaxed and welcoming. Portions were generous for the price, and the dishes all worked well family-style if you’re sharing.“

“ALWAYS CHECK your pick up order. Almost every time we order to go there's something missing, an item is wrong, and your condiments aren't correct. We just did a pick up and got a taco we didn't order, that we returned. The condiments were incorrect. The food is good but they need to work on their pick up order system.“

“Ordered Spicy Beef Hot Pot mild and oh boy does it have a kick. If you like spicy, order up!!! I also ordered the Braised Pig Feet with rice and it was devoured to the bone. If you like pig's feet, this is a must try. Will surely come back.“

“Breakfast specials until 11:30am including weekends. Strong coffee and great muffins are a nice pair. The carrot muffin and lemon muffin are our favorites, however the strawberry muffins are great but only available in the summer. We are usually seated right away and the coffee is refilled frequently. The staff are friendly and attentive, the dining room is bright and restrooms are clean. Some lunch and dinner options come with a slice of pie. They have a nice separate room for private parties. It's a great local restaurant. If you stop by for lunch or dinner, some of the options come with your choice of a slice of pie.“
“We ordered a few drinks at Auntie Jenny's after dinner next door last weekend. We ordered two classic mango pomelo sago and two Multi-grain Vitality Nourish Bottles! They had BOGO Multi-grain Vitality Nourish Bottles and Multi-grain Boba Milk Tea (one day only! available on Feb 1 only), and I chose the Multi-grain Vitality Nourish Bottle. We placed our order around 6:30 p.m., and we saw that many people already had their drinks, while ours was way behind. Then I checked with the guy, and they missed our order. They were busy and needed more Bobaristas. We had to wait a long time, and we finally got our drinks at 7:05 p.m. However, the drinks tasted pretty good as usual. I liked their new Multi-grain Vitality Nourish Bottle! It wasn't too sweet, and it was tasty. Highly recommended!“

“I really like 疙瘩汤 here. The BBQ is pretty good too. I do wish they had more seasonings on the side though, like cumin or chili flakes.
One small thing: one of the servers was kind of rough when putting down plates and bringing out food. The movements were really fast and the noise was pretty loud, which caught us off guard a bit.
Overall the food is solid, and I’d still come back. Just hoping the service can be a little more relaxed next time.“

“I have been coming here every Saturday for 5 years straight. This is the greatest bowl of pho you will ever consume in the city of Los Angeles, possibly even the country. The broth is the definition of perfection, buttery from the fat and made from bone traditionally, not fragrant or made from a vegetable stock.
The customer service is straight forward. They take your order, and bring you your food. Just because they don’t baby you or pamper you doesn’t mean they are “rude”. With their methods of customer service, they are able to bring out your bowl of pho in 2 minutes, while providing the same equal attention to detail to the rest of the customers, and the cleanliness and efficiency of the restaurant.
The owner and staff have a wonderful restaurant, and truly make us feel like family.“

“I stopped in to this location to get some caffeine on my long drive from Arizona to LA. Each employee I spoke to was so nice, personable, and it really made my day! It’s hard to find people working in the service industry who are genuinely so nice nowadays. Wish I lived closer so I could make this my regular spot!“

“Haidilao Hot Pot is an experience. The service is amazing (free snacks while you wait, super attentive staff), and the hot pot is fully customizable with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The hand-pulled noodle show is a fun bonus too. I like that you can customize your sauce and they have really good jelly for dessert.“
