A highlight was when our waitress got permission for us to try the Asian sausage—she called it an 'explosion in your mouth,' and it really was delicious! “This is a gem, my 2nd time around and just as the first the service was on point the food was fresh and very delicious. I wish I would've took some pics but I was just having a great time with my family, we had spice beef noodle soup, shrimp fried rice, chicken chow mein, steamed pork dumplings, steam pork buns and sauted green beans. Additionally, I believe you can call in ahead of time to order a fried pork chop (no walk-in orders for that). Each bento comes with a small soup. Flavors are on the lighter side; if you prefer stronger flavors, you might not enjoy these bentos.“

“For an authentic Chinese American (and Hawaiian)food experience, this is a great place. We’ve been coming to this place since it opened 15-20 years ago and I’ve always ordered the same two-item combo: jalapeño beef and mushroom chicken (dark meat ony) because they are excellent for non-authentic Chinese food. As noted by others, this place stands apart from other Chinese American food places because they cook everything to order. So every meal here is fresh and hot. Highly recommended.

“I genuinely want to say I like their duck because I really do. But if you plan to order takeout, I recommend getting a half duck or whole duck rather than the bento.

The first time I visited, I came with friends and we ordered a whole duck. It was excellent. That’s why I returned this time to try their bentos. I ordered a roasted duck bento and a salted duck bento. Unfortunately, both bentos were mostly filled with duck neck, and the salted duck bento even included the duck head, which was quite shocking when I first opened it. None of us eat duck head in our family, and it would’ve been nice if they at least asked, since it’s definitely not to everyone’s liking. There wasn’t much actual duck meat aside from a few pieces in the bento boxes, which was disappointing.

As I said, I really do enjoy their duck, the roasted duck was delicious. But the cuts they used for the bentos were not satisfying. I wouldn’t order the bentos again, but I would definitely come back for the whole roasted duck.“

“I was in town and looking for a new place to try. Thanks to Yelp, I found Noodlemii nearby. We headed over for a weekend dinner and didn't have to wait long for our group of two.

We tried a variety of their menu items, including the black pepper udon ($12), yellow curry ($11), beef skewers ($6.50), and a Thai iced tea ($3.50). Food came out pretty timely and everything was really good! Good portion sizes too.

“I know this shop used to have a not so great reputation in the 90's early 2000's, but honestly this is my go to now for croissants, deep fried fish, and some other Chinese stuff on the side. They have variety as far as their food and I personally love their ham/cheese/jalapeño croissants and their maple bars. Fried fish and chicken is definitely solid compared to other chain restaurants. If you're a pomona local check them out and stop by for breakfast or lunch! ❤️“

The portions are generous, and the prices are unbeatable. “Just bought some BBQ Pork and I just want to share how lovely this bbbq pork is. So easy to chew on and so lightly sweetened to perfection. Beautiful shade of redish pink on the edges. “This place is wonderful! The food is delicious and the portions are very large. If you miss the "cheap but amazing Chinese place down the street l" vibes THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! My partner and I got the item combos with tangerine chicken, kung pow, broccoli beef, chow mein, and fried rice. All of it was 10/10. Be aware that the food is spicy, which was no problem for me but if you're sensitive to spice I wouldn't get the Kung Pow. It packs a wallop! Loved it!!!“
