Sesame noodles had good flavor and adequate amount of sauce. The XLB was flavorful and juicy and same with the pork pot sticker. Garlic bok choy also well good along with the popcorn chicken. “For an authentic Chinese American (and Hawaiian)food experience, this is a great place. We’ve been coming to this place since it opened 15-20 years ago and I’ve always ordered the same two-item combo: jalapeño beef and mushroom chicken (dark meat ony) because they are excellent for non-authentic Chinese food. As noted by others, this place stands apart from other Chinese American food places because they cook everything to order. So every meal here is fresh and hot. Highly recommended.

Flavors are on the lighter side; if you prefer stronger flavors, you might not enjoy these bentos.“

“We were looking for some Chinese food for Mother's Day. We first called Bamboo Garden. Someone answered the phone and said they were closed. Okay... time to formulate a plan B. The next call was to China Pepper. They said they were out of a few things and it would be about an hour to get a to-go order ready. Szechuan Garden in Montclair is always a good choice but no one felt like driving that far. I noticed Lotus Garden on Google Maps over in nearby Upland. I had passed by a few times and the name caught my eye because there used to be a Lotus Garden in San Bernardino. There's probably no connection however.

Anyway... we placed a call to Lotus Garden and ordered Almond Chicken, Chicken in Black Bean Sauce, Beef with Snow Peas, and Chicken Fried Rice. We were told it would be ready in about 20 minutes. I headed out the door and arrived about 15-20 minutes later. Our order was waiting for me when I got there. I paid and was quickly on my way.

I forgot to take a photo of the food in the containers but you can see a little of each on my plate here. It was really good. They did give us Shrimp Fried Rice instead of Chicken Friend Rice but no one seemed to mind. I think my favorite dish was the Chicken in Black Bean Sauce. I would definitely order that again.“

“People buying here have to take into account ALL the people here work hard and sometimes long hours at probably minimum wage.very friendly staff and when the foods good, its GOOD..like most other food places in pomona.instead of complaining, you ' d be surprised how a few bux in tips can change morale.please treat the service people with respect and kindness .... instead of being negative and cheap (no tips) .walk a mile in someone else's shoes before you pass judgment .. .these are VERY human and humble people doing their best under stressful conditions.The cheap Mexicans are the worst in attitude and guidance ... “I gave them 5 stars because this is one of the best places to have korean jampong (the spicy kind). The food is great, I took 1 star off because honestly they have a huge menu and over 70% of the stuff are not available and never will be (why bother keeping it ?!?).

The service is great as long as you don't complain or ask for detailed ordering such as I can't eat this leave it out of the dish or such as can you NOT wash the noodles with cold tap water. Use filtered water instead.

The eatery is a small counter inside a supermarket. So atmosphere is like whatever. Expect lots of aunties and uncles and others around you watching you eat while talking in loud korean.“

No points— and a LARGE bill. Most of food was satisfactory , however the garlic green beans were POORLY prepared. The stems had not been removed. We mentioned this to our server. No manager addressed this with us , and no adjustment nor accommodation was made. This was not a stellar experience...“
