“This is a food truck, outdoor experience from a mostly stationary trailer alongside the local market. It is mostly Mexican fare, they also show sandwiches and tortas on the menu. Food is good! Three generous plates of enchiladas, quesadillas, and crunchwraps to share was $50. I took mine to go to feed some friends at home.“

“love this place! when I first moved to Rancho it was one of the first places I tried after unpacking and was rather addictive! I can see why it was voted one of the best burger places!“

“This is a cute little burger place. My daughter and I went in for dinner to celebrate her starting school this week. We haven't been out in a while and burgers sounded really good.
My daughter got the kids meal burger and it came with ALL the trimmings! It was huge and she loved it.
I ordered the chicken burger and it was BOMB! So good!
The burgers are fresh and have quality ingredients.
It came out in a timely manner.
The chef and the host were both very friendly and checked in on us several times.

“Love their food. Burgers are consistently delicious, and the sauce is awesome. I've been ordering from here since it opened. I have noticed a lot of inconsistency in their ordering/operation times. I can't ever seem to place an order when I want due to the inconsistency. They are supposed to be open at lunch most days but often end up being closed for an extra day or that their ordering starts hours after their website says they are open. This place has so much potential to be better. Please be more consistent in operating hours! I cannot rely on eating here without knowing I'll need to wait hours or even days before I can place an order.“

Their service is great, as usual. I've never had a complaint; the one time a mistake was made (someone else took my order by accident), they were quick to help me out and remake my order.

“Ok. When the hubs found out that a Fat Burger opened up in Elk Grove, he was set on driving the extra miles to try it out. Having grew up in LA, he is no stranger to the legendary Fat Burger. The first Fat Burger hamburger stand started in 1947 in LA. Did the Elk Grove location live up to the Fat Burger iconic burgers, chili fries, and onion rings?!? Yes, they did!

We ordered two original burgers (one with cheese) with all the regular fixings, chili fries, onion rings, and fountain drinks. The burgers were 1/3 pound patties, the patties were seasoned well. Great flavors, juicy patty. But they could be more generous with the fixings. A bit more lettuce wouldn’t hurt. The onion rings had a crisp batter. Yum. The chili was tasty, good flavor. Thick consistency. It’s beanless. Everything was served hot. For fountain drink choices, they offer 3 iced tea flavors made with cane sugar. That scored big points with me since I can’t have HFCS.

They are located in a strip mall. It’s counter service. The place like most eateries now have a smaller dining rooms than prior builds. May not be ideal for large group dining. And regarding pricing, it’s comparable to fast food ( FF), but it ain’t fast food. They actually take the time to cook the food when ordered. So don’t expect FF speed. Don’t get me wrong, they aren’t sloooow but not drive thru fast.“
