“Dropped in for Breakfast before rafting. Raining at camp so we came in to dry off and get some food. The Coloma Club is a diner with a ton of character in a remarkably rural spot between Auburn and Placerville in the foothills just outside of Sacramento. You'll sit between Coloma locals, motorcycle tourists, river guides and river runners in a building which has seen a lot over the years. (Just check the picture section). The food was diner food. Not pretentious or over-wrought, but capably prepared and it hit the spot on that cold Fall morning before we ran the American River. If you're looking for crepes, a fresh fruit and yoghurt bowl or gravy made from scratch this might not be your destination. But for a comfortable meal in a great setting surrounded by an eclectic mix of people you'll be stoked.“

“This is a healthy food / shake location. The focus is very healthy shakes and teas. It is in league with other health establishments like gyms and health food stores. The lack of normal lunch type foods is not lacking in a great atmosphere with a healthy mission.“
“This store is closed due to medical issues but they now do offer weekly meals that you can order and pick up. You order by Sunday and pick up on Wednesday. Connect to them on Facebook and you can see the weekly offers post. I highly enjoyed their food so I am sure the weekly meals will be delicious. I am planning on trying them soon. The owner is very friendly and helpful.“

“For months I would stop and read the menu but just couldn’t bring myself to try one their “concoctions”. That was my loss. I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone trying several of their master pieces and have not been disappointed once. This place is like the Disney Epcot of sandwich shops. Ready for an American classic, the biscuits and gravy sandwich might be their simplest sandwich but I’m salivating right now just thinking about it. The gravy is top three I’ve ever had, if not the best. Ready for a trip south of the border, the enchiladas suizas sandwich might be my favorite so far (minus the sour cream). The addition of the chips might seem like something my kid would do, but don’t think this sandwich would be same without them. The salsa verde rivals anything I’ve had at any Mexican restaurant. Looking for something a little on the sweet side then give the honey walnut prawns a try, and continue down the Asian fusion path with the pot sticker cheese burger. I could go on but just know your trip around the culinary world doesn’t stop there. Don’t like to travel, no problem, the cheese burger will more than get the job done. Fair warning, they have a lot of fun and work their butts off, but on busy days there can be a bit of a wait so take some time and enjoy all Main Street has to offer. It will be more than worth it.“

“Enjoyed a late lunch here on our drive back from Lake Tahoe to the Bay Area. Didn't get to try their Lobster Bisque since they were out (Friday ~2pm), but our daughter loved their clam chowder. The Baked Brie was so delicious - served with warm bread, dried fruit, grilled onions and truffles. It was gone within a few minutes! For our mains, the crab cake sliders were fine, nothing spectacular. But their Salmon Salad was a hit! The salmon was cooked just right, not too dry, with a lightly sweet, refreshing dressing. I wish I could bottle up the dressing and take it home! We'll definitely be coming back when we're in town again.“

“The coffee shop had a great atmosphere, was very clean, plenty of tables and had lots of games to play. The staff were knowledgeable and extremely friendly! The food all looked great, I had the frittata and it was amazing! The coffee was great as well. Definitely will come back!“
“Very friendly owner, Tara, she was informative of the drink she was making me & even showed me some of the protein powders she used & said I could buy them and make it at home to save money. Tara also gave me a free lifted tea which was so refreshing! Loved the vibe and decor. I will definitely be going back for more, the drinks were delicious!“
“I took my 90's era bike in for service. I discussed the work I was looking for with Brian (the owner) and he listened and provided feedback. All in a very friendly manner. The price quoted for the work seemed really fair based on my calling around to other shops. I walked out feeling very confident I had chosen the right shop.“
“Friendly, affordable and great ambiance. Easily the liveliest place around on a weekend night, and the pizza we had was tasty and well above our expectations as travelers. Nicely sprawling outdoor scene with live music (when we were there) behind the little building where they take your orders. Shout out to the hard working staff who got us our pies- with smiles - in next to no time despite beginning to run out of pizza!“

“I love coming here. I know they treat everyone in the supply chain well, the coffee is great, they have all the alternative milks one could want, and delicious homemade pastries. Lots of space to lounge, work and enjoy. The little courtyard outside seemed pleasant! I wish we could’ve stayed longer.“

“First off the customer service was amazing, patient and friendly. The coffee in my opinion was a little bit on the sweeter side and to much milk. As for the sandwich, if you like spicy food this is the one for you, It was perfectly crispy and crunchy. For my husband and I the total was $40 that includes two breakfast sandwich and two lattes. A cute place to go for a coffee date or brunch.“

“Trying mudwtr for the first time while sitting at a carved picnic bench along the American River. The kind folks working at Argonaut made it with water, whole milk, and honey in addition to the mudwtr. There's a rich, earthy complexity to the taste - it's impossible not to just sip and savor, especially considering the calm vibe outside“
