“The coffee is always fresh. They roast their own coffee beans. I like the fact they have light, medium and dark roast. Dark is my go to. It has less caffeine. They are also dairy free. I tried Oat milk in my coffee, now I buy Oatmilk for my coffee at home.“

I bought some single-origin beans which were freshly roasted on the same day right in the shop. How amazing!!

The baristas were super friendly and offer to adjust the sweetness of each drink just as you want it. I also indulged in a delicious croissant that paired perfectly with my coffee.

Parking: Parking is super easy and there is a great park across the road

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly we had our children here as you can see by the photos. There is a fantastic playground across the road for the kids after you get your coffee.“

The shop offered an impressive array of pastries. We decided to try their croissants, which turned out to be light, airy, and perfectly crispy.

The coffee menu, while straightforward, was inviting. However, I noticed that there weren't many options catered specifically for kids. After inquiring, the staff kindly provided us with a variety of alternatives, ensuring everyone could find something enjoyable. One thing we learned was that most sweeteners came with an extra charge.

We faced a minor setback when it took longer than anticipated to receive our drinks. With two orders ahead of us, we found ourselves waiting about 20 minutes. Despite the wait, we would definitely return. The coffee was simply perfect, though next time, we'll be sure to allow ourselves some extra time.“

“Tried their passion fruit citrus tea today, it’s so refreshing and tasty! Though they only have crystal boba, you can add it to your tea. The staff is kind and attentive, the atmosphere of the place makes me wanna do my homework in there, perfectly cozy and sweet-nutty scented. “Food Was Good! I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Pasta it was very tasty! The chicken had a good flavor and the pasta was filling!We picked up a Strawberry Matcha Latte and a Dubai Chocolate Tart on our way out , the latte was just ok for me but the tart was so gooooddd I will be going back to try different drinks on the menu along with different food options also ordering process can improve it felt crowded and servers kept passing by saying excuse me space and seating is limited!“

“Have subscribed to their monthly 3-bag coffee box for about two years now, always been happy with the roasts/beans. Also like stopping in the store from time to time to snag a special roast or when we run out. The Nighthawk Blend is an amazing dark roast and we've also been enjoying the lighter roasts too. The roast consistency from bag to bag is also quite strong, means minimal fiddling with grind settings to get good pour-over going each time we get a new batch. Strongly recommend!“

“I hear some British tourists talking to the hotel manager "this is the best taco place in LA."As the proud owner of a gut selectively fed with the best things in life, I ask what might that place be. Turns out, it's Tees cafe.I google the place. It doesnt even have tacos on its online menu. I ask the guy, are you sure this is the place. He says yes. They make great birria tacos.I decide to have a combined lunch and breakfast there the next day.God finds my plan too boring and I lose my credit cards the next day. I only find about it while trying to pay for my food, which thankfully I have to do before eating.I cancel my order with a light stomach and q heavy heart and join my friend sitting outside. We are both very respectful of individualism so I dont ask for help and he gracefully doesn't offer any as he silently inhales three tacos.A moment later I feel a tap on my shoulder. It's an almost comically stereotypical overweight Mexican daddy smiling with two tacos on a plate. They are free and they are for me.In retrospect, this was the only way for this mom and dad cafe to surpass my sky.high expectations. With delicious authentic tacos and hospitality I have no problem calling this the best taco place in downtown LA.Just don't make it too famous.“
