“Normita's is one of the best places to eat in Orange County. They are famous for their fish taco, wich I can tell you it will not disappoint. “Amazing breakfast burritos and tacos. The meat really is a cut above the rest and they have so many options. Easy to understand the menu. Amazing salsa bar (that’s how you know it’s good). The line is always super quick. This is the best restaurant to be in this location….. ever! Suitable for all party sizes if you order to go. However, if you have more than 4 people, it can get crowded in there. Honestly, it’s so nice to get your food and walk down by the beach to enjoy it!“

“I’ve been coming here since 2013 and I’ve never been dissatisfied. The blackened fish tacos got me in the door and I’ve been back for just about everything. Had a torta tonight and again good. This is easily my favorite authentic Mexican spot in Huntington Beach and the only spot that is on par with tacos los cholos.“

“The food and drinks are always fabulous but the service is honestly what keeps me coming back. Literally the best service I’ve had at any restaurant and I go to a lot of high end restaurants. The best part they always remember me but, honestly I think it’s because my very large brown and white standArd poodle who actually sits in the both with me. Either way I love the waitresses there all so sweet and friendly and, I really enjoy the food and drinks. It’s my Tuesday night go to.“

“Been here about 10 times now, discovered it one day in Newport for my first Mother’s Day, they were giving moms free churros and it was such a pleasant experience we’ve been making the 30 min drive to come back ever since. Always a pleasant experience, service is always friendly and quick, the atmosphere is fun with an 2 inside areas and 2 outside areas andthe food is great (we mostly always get steak Chilaquiles and their steak breakfast burrito). This is a great place for toddlers/kids we love sitting on the patio area with grass and tv, we’re happy and our kiddos are happy. The food is always reliably tasty well cooked meat and free chips and salsa (lots of salsa choices and all good). I’ve even come here with my girlfriend for a mom’s day out. Highly recommend such a pleasant experience and ideal spot for watching sporting events or just to feel comfortable eating out with kiddos!

“There is a God!! I have been away for years working in North Dakota praying for a shrimp burrito. I was in Balboa over weekend and got my Shrimp fix. So darn good! The best shrimp soze and taste anywhere. They have not changed anything during this bad inflation. Miss the salsa bar but they gave us plenty. Most great places come and eventually go but GM is still.#1. Thank you Peter and staff!!.“

“I wish I would have got the waitress's name. She was so nice and accommodating to me ,my wife, and our dog. She went above and beyond a couple of times during our lunch. My wife's dish was a little too spicy so we sent it back and they gave us another at no charge(minus the Chipotle sauce). The amazing part Was the sincere kindness of the waitress. Most places make you feel like you're a problem when you send something back. She just wanted to make sure we were happy. Thank you, you are much appreciated. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced.“

“First time dining here and it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and everything exceeded our expectations. What truly made the experience extra special was our waiter, Roberto. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable—he made us feel so welcome and taken care of from start to finish.
