This place is an absolute treat! They offer a massive variety of ice cream combinations, and the flavors are simply out of this world. One of the best parts of the experience is that they prepare everything right in front of you, making it a fun and interactive process.
The customer service is also fantastic. The staff members are quite young, but they are incredibly polite, enthusiastic, and welcoming, which really adds to the great atmosphere.
While the prices are a bit on the expensive side, the amazing taste and high quality make it completely worth it. If you are craving a delicious, custom-made dessert, you definitely need to check this place out!“

“I was just here I would give this place five stars, but I’m only giving it four because as I took my child here and went to use the bathroom there is no soap and when I asked them, she said they’re out of soap which is the same bathroom that the employees use, which means nobody is washing their hands because they’re all out of soap. That’s pretty unsanitary and you’re serving ice cream.“

“I stopped by Mr. Baker in the late afternoon and ordered a caramel iced latte, lemon bar, almond croissant, coffee cake, and a dog cupcake.

Overall, everything tasted good. The caramel iced latte was refreshing, the lemon bar had a great balance of sweetness and citrus, and even my dog enjoyed the cupcake. The bakery has a welcoming atmosphere and an excellent selection of pastries and treats.

One thing that immediately stood out was how clean and inviting the shop is. I really love what they did with the building. The modern renovation gives it a fresh, bright, and welcoming appearance. In an area that has struggled with blight and homelessness, Mr. Baker has created a space that feels cared for and uplifting. It’s clear that a lot of effort was put into improving both the business and the surrounding neighborhood, and I genuinely appreciate that. Thank you, Mr. Baker, for investing in our community and helping make this part of Riverside a little better. For that reason alone, I strongly support you as a local business.

My only criticism is that the coffee cake and almond croissant were a bit hard by the time I visited. For comparison, I personally prefer the almond croissant at Lee’s Sandwiches because theirs tends to be soft and more flavorful.

That said, to be fair, Mr. Baker makes their baked goods in-house, and these items are at their best when they’re freshly made earlier in the day. Based on the quality and flavor, I would definitely return and try them again during the morning hours.

“We came after dinner to try their ice cream after not having cold stone after 2 or more years. I did not know that their waffle cones only took two flavors and you choose the size of the ice cream balls depending on the like, love or have it sizes. I recommend a lot of lovin' and no oven or something it was really good and the workers are nice.“
