I found this fabulous bakery and selected them, as I loved their story l, plus they have a 5 star rating. They were so amazing to work with and did exactly what they promised. They followed up quickly and even had it delivered to the hotel along with information and pictures on who they left it with for her birthday. “It was exactly 2 weeks before my daughter’s quinceanera. I had been considering making her cake but after a lot of stress and agonizing over what to do, I decided to stop into Sugar Mama’s just to see what they had to offer. Within about 10 minutes I was placing an order. The shop is very cute and the staff makes you feel instantly at ease. The order process was fairly straightforward. If anything there are almost too many options for flavors and additional toppings but that’s not a complaint. The day of our event came and the cake was beautiful. They took my inspiration photos and made her a gorgeous cake. It was delicious and reasonably priced too. Overall, we had a great experience with this business and will be back.“

“Um……it was too good for a pic. Creme brulee which she warned me would cold for at least 15-20 mins and she was right. So good. Real vanilla bean. Pistachio macaroons my husband devoured before i got a bite…..but “too sweet”…….mmmmmkay dear. Great job.“

“This place is awesome!!! They made my wedding cake and dessert bar 5/26/19. Everyone loved it I got so many compliments on the quality of the cake. The desserts where also a huge hit. As soon as the dessert bar open at 9 it was almost cleared out. We didn't put everything out at once and had to restock it in 7 mins. My daughter even said she didn't get a chance to have anything but a cake pop because it all went fast. Back to the wedding cake, they did such an amazing job recreating the cake we wanted. It was exactly how we pictured it. And was so fresh and moist. My husband loved it and he is not a cake eater hes super picky. Also the fact they are family operated made gives them that intimate connection to there customers that gets lost in most places. This is our new specialty cake spot for sure. Nothing but great things about this place.“

“Stopped by Cold Stone Creamery to try their Lemon Cake Batter ice cream - Was sick with the flu for almost 3 weeks and I missed my birthday - So as a treat for myself I the Lemon Cake Batter ice cream mixed with Strawberries as a shake - It's exactly what I was hoping for - A lil tangy and a lil sweet from strawberries - made it the perfect shake - And of course topped with some whipped cream - I highly recommend this flavor - It's only available for a limited time... 😋🫶🏻“

“Calico Cake Shop did such an awesome job on my birthday cake! I gave them a picture from Pinterest for reference of what I wanted my cake to look like. It was so beautiful I didn't want to cut it. The cake itself was a moist chocolate cake with a rich chocolate frosting filling as I requested. I'm so pleased with how the cake turned out, and for a reasonable price. I will definitely order party cakes from them again.“

I totally recommend it with sweet cream ice cream, marshmallows, Jet Puff marshmallow cream, fudge, and pie crust. Angie was very nice and pretty fast, too.“
