“This review is long overdue, but I highly recommend Ji's Cake Boutique for any custom cake or cupcake design for a special celebration.

I ordered a Hello Kitty cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday, and it was absolutely beautiful. Ji is phenomenal and pays close attention to every detail to ensure everything is perfect. My daughter was over the moon when she saw her favorite character, and all of her friends were excited too.

Ji truly thought of everything, from providing a special candle to packaging the cake in a beautiful clear display box that showcased the design perfectly. She even created a discreet opening behind the cake that made removing the fondant decorations incredibly easy. When it came time to serve the cake, I looked like a total pro and was able to cut and serve it within minutes.

And the best part? Oh my goodness, the cake was delicious! It was perfectly sweet and incredibly fresh. We chose the strawberry and vanilla combination, and it was a huge hit at the party.

Because the experience was so amazing, it was a no-brainer to order from Ji again for my son's 5th birthday. This time, she created a custom Buzz Lightyear cake that was absolutely breathtaking. The creativity and attention to detail were incredible. Even at an outdoor pool party, the cake held up beautifully. We chose the raspberry and chocolate mousse combination, and it was another crowd favorite. My son is still talking about his Buzz Lightyear cake to this day!

“I love Cold Stone! I’ve been coming here a lot recently since discovering this location. The staff is very friendly, and I especially want to give a shoutout to Lacey. She is incredibly kind and always remembers my order, so I never have to repeat myself or worry about being disappointed. She’s also so sweet and welcoming to my little ones.Sometimes other employees don’t offer samples when my kids want to try flavors, but Lacey is always patient and happy to let us sample different options. It really makes a difference.Overall, the location is very clean, although it can get quite busy on weekends. Great job to all the workers—keep up the good work!“

“I tried this place traveling from Vegas for a wedding, and I would literally come back just for this shop. I highly recommend their roll slices, and their donut filled with custard. I went in and got some pastries, tasted one in the car, and literally WENT BACK inside to order more for the hotel room because it was genuinely the best pastries I’ve had. What I really like about this place is they don’t use any preservatives, and everything was super fresh and was natural. For example, the pistachio deserts didn’t have that artificial green food coloring look or flavor. Everything is baked fresh every day, and it’s the perfect balance of sweetness. It’s sweet but not REALLY SWEET, Just perfect and light. Everything I tried was also extremely soft and pillowy. I will definitely miss this place when I travel back to Vegas, and will make this a must stop every time I come to Cali.

“I came in last night. The experience was fun! There was a young high school girl with redish hair and she was so friendly and kept the vibe going. Everyone in line seemed to love her service and she kept it going with every customer she got. The ice cream was soo good and not melted right away this time. I would recommend this place.“

When we realized this location was closing in 10 minutes, we were hesitant to go in because the young lady was sweeping the floor. I work in a service industry as well so I understand how 'last minute' guests can be 😉. She was quick to make eye contact with us as soon as we walked in. She also stopped cleaning right away to service us with a smile. She was friendly & patient and said we would be able to get another coupon like the one we used for my birthday if we complete a survey. “On Saturday 04/23/22 I bought a small cake, the person who attend me was name jazmin. She mention told me that the cake was tres leches, but when we cut the cake it’s flavor was chocolate. I didn’t think much and decided to keep it. But today 04/26/22 I bought another cake, again jazmin told me that the cake was chocolate bread flavor with mocha. When I cut the cake it’s flavor was vanilla cake with mocha. This time I did call the bakery and explain what happen, they told me to go back and they would give a chocolate cake. Upon my arrival to the bakery, jazmin was rude and didn’t want to give me a cake but instead give me the refund for the cake. On both occasions, she was rude and seemed like she was on a hurry. Would answer questions in regards the cakes with attitude and rudeness. I have been a faithful costumer for years to this bakery, and love the pastries and cakes. But this new person, needs to get better training or be replace.“
