“This parlor is in the food court at the Brea Mall. It's conveniently next to the Wetzel Pretzels. The flavor scheme is only rivaled but the color scheme. My grandson wanted the Lucky Charms combo and he couldn't have been happier. The sever was polite and friendly and the mall finally put tables out again. “This LA bakery is a must-visit for anyone craving a delightful pastry experience. Despite the long wait for parking and entry (over 30 minutes), the staff was incredibly quick and friendly, managing to keep the crowd moving smoothly.

The bakery itself is a sight to behold, with its vast expanse of baked goods and an open kitchen that showcases their delectable creations. We indulged in a variety of items, including almond croissant, cinnamon croissant, chicken sandwich, eclair, cream cheese guava strudels, chicken croquettes, spinach puff pastry, biscuits, chicken empanadas, and wheat bread.

The biscuits were a standout, filled with gooey caramel and chocolate. The eclair was a melt-in-your-mouth masterpiece. Every bite was a blissful experience, thanks to the freshly baked, warm pastries.

While the chicken sandwich was a bit of a letdown compared to the other pastries, it was still enjoyable. Overall, this bakery offers an amazing experience and is definitely worth a visit.“

“Stopped in with my boys and though we generally have good customer service at most Cold Stones with a couple of exceptions a while back at the Garden Grove location on Chapman, Stephanie provided outstanding customer service from the minute we walked in until the minute we walked out. It wasn't a surprise to find out that she was part of the management team when I asked. Seems that you provide a great example to your teammates.“

“The southern banana pudding is creamy, extravagant and tasty. Tasty. I also tried the pumpkin ice cream. It was okay. You could use some more creaminess and warm spices like cinnamon. This is my first time at this establishment. It is a walk up window. There's a couple tables outside but there's no real seeding otherwise.“

I had been considering making her cake but after a lot of stress and agonizing over what to do, I decided to stop into Sugar Mama’s just to see what they had to offer. Within about 10 minutes I was placing an order. The shop is very cute and the staff makes you feel instantly at ease. The order process was fairly straightforward. If anything there are almost too many options for flavors and additional toppings but that’s not a complaint. The day of our event came and the cake was beautiful. They took my inspiration photos and made her a gorgeous cake. It was delicious and reasonably priced too. Overall, we had a great experience with this business and will be back.“

“Brusters is the best. Always. Ice cream is delicious. Try some of their more exotic flavors… branch out a bit. But if you’re stuck on the tried and true favorites, you won’t go wrong here. Waffle cones are fresh and tasty. Service is always friendly and efficient.

“Been in and out this area over 20 years and I feel sooo dumb🤣 I've been running to Hawthorne ca on Hawthorne Blvd just to purchase banana wrapped tamales and Martha's bakery is sitting right next to the best pizza spot around except for Johnny Blaze pizza. Before you open the door your senses and taste buds start activation of I'm here🤣🤣🤣let's go. The tamales are outstanding beautifully prepared and today I'm going after the bread and of course more tamales 😁“

“The quantity/portions are reasonable and the ice cream is delicious. My go-to would be the oreo cookies and cream shake. It is possible to customize your shake, so knowing that they put about 5-6 scoops of ice cream into a large shake, you can ask for 4 of those scoops to be oreo cookies and cream and 2 of those scoops to be chocolate.“

“They made my mom’s birthday cake it was a work of art and it was delicious. We chose my mom’s favorite. Carrot cake with a whip cream frosting and custard filling. It was the most delicious carrot cake I ever had! Even family members who exclaimed they did not like carrot cake tried this one and changed their mind it was that good!! We also got a flan pie. Same thing. So delicious. I wish I knew about this baker for my wedding cake but going forward I will get all my pies and cakes here. I highly recommend it!!“

“Just like I remembered from childhood. Fresh Strawberry cream cake with almonds. We use to go to this bakery all the time as kids and didn't know it was still around. The cake was not very sweet and just perfect. Really wanted butterfly cookies but were sold out. Only thing I didn't like was they don't answer their phones. Wasn't sure if they were open and was calling to check. No answer.“

As soon as I walked in, Alexa greeted me with an amazing and positive attitude!! “This place was great for me because I walked in when it wasn't busy and I was curious about s'mores type of flavor and with Angie's recommendations, it turned out really good. On the wall, it said 6.99 for a small, but it seems like we were charged around 5.99 instead ( which is still expensive, in my opinion, but I suppose that's the state of our economy. It's better than paying 7 bucks at least ^_^ ). There are a variety of flavors and toppings to choose from. I got the cheesecake flavor with graham crackers. It was a good combination.
