“We had awesome service by Dern! He was polite, friendly and outgoing. (Killer now tie too!) He made our experience so fun! I even witnessed his care for his customers as I watched him ensure an elderly man did not fall walking to the bathroom. Also, he seemed to interact positively with his teammates too. Thanks Dern! The facility and restrooms were clean. It was like stepping back in time. There are a lot of nostalgic things to take in. My husband and I split a classic hamburger, crinkle fries and a strawberry malt. All of it was delicious. My husband said, “if we lived here, I’d be a regular.””

“A great little French “bistro”. The menu is varied enough for most. I had the curry chicken salad which was perfectly flavored. Portion size was generous. My husband had a bacon panino with a suave of fresh fruit. The fruit was really fresh and ripe. We couldn’t resist dessert - they have a large display of very delectable desserts. The coffee was perfect - strong without any bitterness. Waiter was attentive without being intrusive and offered me coffee to go. I highly recommend this little gem. While we didn’t drink, the table next to us ordered several bottles of wine.”

“This restaurant has a very fancy atmosphere that may drive you away but don't! We decided to check this place out as we are fans of Thai cuisine and Swadee didn't let us down! This space is quite welcoming and comfortable, do keep in mind that reservations are preferable, but they still took us in without one. The staff members consistently demonstrated a high level of attentiveness and professionalism in their interactions with us. As for the menu it offers a diverse range of options, catering to various tastes, preferences and not as expensive as one would think. I would recommend visiting this establishment if you are looking for somewhere new.”

“Your corner liquor store that makes deli sandwiches! The difference is these are very tasty, well proportioned and at a fair price. I had the roast beef and Swiss. Fresh veggies, warm tasty perfectly cooked roast beef. The Swiss was slightly melted and the roll was FRESH and warm. The photo is 1/2of the sandwich! People were very kind.”

“Really cool and unique coffee! I went in and just asked the barista to give me two coffees he recommended and it did not disappoint! We got the black nitro cold brew and the honey lavender and both were delicious! Also got a donut and it was also great. The barista was so friendly! I would totally make this my go to coffee spot when we visit Coronado.”

“Dog friendly with outside seating. We ordered two EPIC hot lobster rolls (Connecticut style, warm with butter) and although they were delicious, for the EPIC PRICE OF $39 PER ROLL, it was very skimpy compared to what you get for that price in New England. They stack it high in the middle and don’t fill the bun to the ends to make it look super full. It’s not. The New England clam chowder was great though.”

“There is absolutely no better place for a mimosa. These guys are huge! The flavors are also very unique. I love the blackberry and the pear mimosas. The specials menu is always very good I've never not enjoyed what I ordered here.”

“We stepped into the recently renovated restaurant without a reservation and received a warm welcome and inviting atmosphere that embraces marina views both indoors and out. One server was fantastic! He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I tend to be weary of hotel restaurants, but every dish was thoughtful, flavorful and fresh. I enjoyed the beet salad, fresh focaccia, and house made bolognese. Our girls enjoy their salads and kids’ meals and my husband loved his fish dish. We returned for breakfast on the patio and it did not disappoint! The chilaquiles were amazing and the crème brûlée French toast was an incredible indulgent treat!”

“We are locals and were there for the first time. The food is generous and very good. Service OK, could have been a little faster. It was very busy, being Valentine's Day, but very NOISY. Suggest altering the decor to absorb some of the noise. Lighting could be a little bit brighter also. All in all, we enjoyed our experience there and plan to return. ”

“Nado Republic is one of my family and I's absolutely favorite restaurants!! The food is authentic Italian imported from Italy. The service is amazing (Arlo is THE best)!!! Ambience and music is great and they do an awesome job with celebrations! Highly recommend!!!”

“Nice find, tucked away in the back of base next to the golf course. Came here on a Thursday because that’s when they do the Fried Chicken plate. Food was delicious, I was expecting something that tasted canned but this was a welcome surprise. Staff was also really nice. They have a full bar but I didn’t imbibe during lunch. I wish they had more than Pepsi products at the fountain soda stand. Will come back again”

“La Corriente is the best mexican seafood restaurant in San Diego. Way better than El Viejon & Karinas. I frequent Tijuana regularly and usually the food is way better in TJ. This place allows me to have my Ceviche fix without crossing the border. Fernando also provided top notch service. Will definitely be coming back!”

“Cold Stone Creamery Located in the charming Ferry Landing shops, Cold Stone Creamery in Coronado offers a sweet escape with a wide variety of ice cream creations, cakes, shakes, and smoothies.

We ordered the Cotton Candy and Peanut Butter flavors, both were delicious and definitely hit the spot! Each was $8.95, totaling about $17.90 for two small scoops, which felt a bit pricey for the portion size in my opinion .

There are some chairs and umbrellas just outside the shop, so you can sit and enjoy your treat while taking in the view.

There was a long line when we visited, and we waited around 15 minutes to order. Staff was friendly!”

“We requested a window table but should have been more specific. Our Table was outside by a window. The temperature was comfortable but the roll down shade was closed and the window looked out at the parking lot. Should have said water view table”

“We all deserve a second chance and II Fornaio is not exempt. I was told to try this place for a nice meal. My family visited this establishment a few weeks back. Unfortunately, we had one of the worst experiences ever. Lack of attentiveness, service, taste, & dining experience. We left waiting to speak to a manager that never came as he was taking care of another matter and I didn't want to wait any longer. I got home and my wife insisted that I call to report our experience and give the manager a chance to do something about it. I spoke with Assistant General Manager Antonio Ramirez who apologized and said he would investigate and call me the following morning. Needless to say he didn't return the call for a week later. I honestly thought he forgot. Mr Ramirez called and once again apologize and offered to pay for our meal on the next visit. He was genuinely concerned about the companies reputation and making up for a poor experience. I returned the following week with a complete different situation. Mr Ramirez introduced himself, followed the hostess to our seat, took the unused glasses and offered to get our drinks. The busser, he could easily pass for Santa Claus, was johnny on the spot with water, tea and refills. Our waitress, Susan was what all should aspire to as far as a quality food server. Susan was suggestive of everything, we chose two of her recommendations and were not unhappy. Between Mr. Ramirez, Susan and Santa Claus (sorry never got the busser's name), my wife and I had the best dining experience that turned our hearts to highly recommend II Fornaio as the place to frequent for that wonderful dining experience. We will definitely return to dine after this time. Thank you for changing our hearts to believe in you. It's time to make Assistant General Manager Antonio Ramirez General Manager with his attitude, demeaner, and loyalty to the company and the return of a good customer experience. Thank you, Thank you and Thank you.”

“The location is in a shopping center. There's no drive thru or bathrooms inside. It faces the street you have to park on the street and walk. The food was quickly served and hot/fresh. This place is on the side of the island that faces downtown San Diego. I drove from the beach so completely on the other side. It's less than 10 mins from the beach side.”

“Wonderful holiday experience with friends. Ice skating rink nearby, great evening view of festive lights . Welcoming for adults and kids. Great date night. Open seating, not rushed,and great service. Drinks and food service was prompt,albeit a little pricey, but worth the special atmosphere. “Honestly could be considered a bit pricy until you finish your first drink. The bar tenders make some of the best drinks I've ever had and at first they seem to just be heavy on the fruit but about halfway thru you realize they balance the alcohol perfectly so you cant tell that they definitely make them very sturdy for a day at the beach. As for the tacos, I usually end up having several by the end of the day they are just so balanced and flavorful. Good portion size too (I usually get several fish tacos and one or two shrimp thru the day). I will always recommend the classic margarita with a tajin rim or the watermelon drinks they make. The fruit garnish is to die for and very refreshing complement to the drink itself. I am very passionate about this place.”
