“I was there for the first time this past weekend for the Canelo vs. Charlo fight and loved all of the positive vibes at this establishment.

The owners (Otto & Selena) are amazing!!

One thing I noticed is despite how busy they all were Otto had a smile on his face the entire time.

Normally when it's busy and chaotic people tend to lose their smile because their stressed out. This is proof that when your doing something your passionate about it's fun and you enjoy every minute of it.

All of the staff provided excellent customer service. Regina is my favorite!! ?

Dj's Money Miner & Jay 2 we're in the mix playing all the old school jams!! At one time all the boys took over the dance floor just vibing out Lol!! I know because theirs video footage Hahaha!!! ??‍♂️?

I have been disappointed with the main dishes offered (I’ve tried wings and burgers), but maybe other options would be the better move. The bar itself is inviting and the staff is generally congenial and relaxed.“

“Had such a great time at Johnny WAHOO Golf bar. The simulator has far more than just golf. I am a terrible golfer ?️‍♀️ an i was just as terrible with the simulator. But i did have a great time throwing a baseball at the screen. We got lucky and got 2 hours on a Thursday without a reservation. The bartender was so kind and friendly. Great beer and alcohol selection. Between the drinks, the reasonable price, and the different sports and games on the simulator this was a great way to spend 2 hours in gaslamp.“

Service was superb, wait staff upbeat and happy to help us all enjoy ourselves. Bar staff were supportive, all smiling, very welcoming. Seating was generous, whole place was clean and tidy. Our separate room was perfect for our needs. Lots of parking close by, easy access and egress. As we wrapped everything up, one of the waitresses helped with the group shots with enthusiasm and expertise, wielding six cellphone cameras with aplomb and smiles, taking a half dozen pics with each phone! The real Duece Bigelow here is the food, they have some kind of a magic man hiding behind two double doors in the kitchen whippin out delicious burgers and damn near whatever his heart desires. the menu is small but it'll cash your checks all day, everyday!

Good for families with pups, food is solid, nice kids menu (my picky kids actually finished their food!) and doggie menu (our little dog had the beef patty and gulped it down- no surprise there) Chicken wings were perfect and the beer selection is very interesting. “My husband was in a business dinner and they walked some of gaslamp afterwards. After they parted ways, he needed to use the bathroom so he ran in the closest restaurant. They said he couldn't use it unless he was a customer. I totally get that but they were packed out so it made no sense.... Either way, he bought a chicken quesadilla to go. He brought it back to the room for me and our sons to have. It tasted good...until my youngest son spit out a piece of plastic he found inside the quesadilla. My Husband called about it the next day bc they were then closed. Their response was "oops sorry" like wth?! They then said "bring it back along with the plastic." No mention of a refund or investigation of how it happened. And by that point, room service had come and took the box of the rest of the food plus no one wanted to fight downtown traffic and pay to park to have them possibly offer us another quesadilla . 🙄 Again the food we did eat, minus the plastic, was good but the service wasn't.“

“I love taco Tuesdays. This is one of my favorite places for tacos. The hamburgers are great and Sunday brunch is always fun. I love 💕 like on St. Patrick’s Day. They had corn beef tacos, which were totally killer. On Thursdays one of their specials is a hotdog and fries. They have a bun length hot dog with a spiral cut, and a nice big fluffy roll instead of the traditional hotdog bun. The fries are hot and delicious. They have some of the best tasting sliced pickles. I can never find delicious pickles like that at the store. On taco Tuesday, I would love to have a hot dog taco. That is how much I love their hotdogs. I’ve never had a bad meal. Everything is delicious.“

“11 friends and I arrived for a pre-arranged event with a planned 2-12 lap 6 person qualifying (fast lap) and 1-16 lap main event. We arrived at the pre-arranged time and found several people on the track. We waited ~45 minutes for the first qualifier, had additional individuals on the track prior to our second qualifier, and again waited for others on the track prior to the main race. The qualifier times were to be combined, but weren’t. The main event went well, but at least one more flagger would have allowed less issues during passing manoeuvres. Complaints aside, I would return. The carts were quick considering the track setup, and they seemed to be very similarly setup regarding acceleration/top speed. A final FYI - consider bringing your own approved helmet. The ones provided were pretty much done, and additionally poor fitting.“

It was kind of cold outside so the big windows made it feel like we could still be enjoying the beach while staying warm. We did not eat so I cannot comment on their food but definitely come here and enjoy a drink or two.
I did knock off a star for service. Our hostess was great, very friendly but none of the servers were anything to write home about. Made us feel like a burden more than anything. Didn't check on us often until a younger guy bartender/server got there on shift change. He was a lot better. Didn't get his name but younger guy with a mustache, wore a hat.. “We hosted an annual UCLA Alumni Network of San Diego event here in conjunction with the USC Young Alumni Association of San Diego for Rivalry Week. Megan made everything so easy to book and order apps for the group, they had drink tickets we could use for our guests, and guests could also order additional drinks and food on their own tabs. We plugged into the giant screens for our Game Show and they were amazing!

Everyone had a great time and I've always enjoyed the beer and food at Novo. The servers were attentive and took good care of our group of 40. Thanks to Leo, Megan, Ava, and the whole team!“
