“Your normal local dive bar.Crowd can be a little so so, however tends to not ever be packed.There was always some sort of celebration that would have a potluck, they were always friendly enough to ask you if you wanted to join.We would go for our quite date nights. Round 8 ish to 10 maybe 11. Pool, cheap drinks, interesting people watching and comfy clothes never stood out.“

“There are plenty of tables to choose from, and the venue is clean, spacious, and very nice inside. They charge by the hour, and the rates are fair for what you get. My sister and I had a great time here and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We would definitely come back again.“

“Came in on a whim around midnight with a few friends after closing my bar. The bartender was very sweet and made us some pretty decent shots. The draft beers were ice cold and priced well. Quite a few people for a week night. We shot some pool and stayed till last call. I hadn’t been there in over 15 years. Completely forgot what a great dive bar it was and has always been. I’ll definitely be coming back more often.“

I got stopped at the door for a weird reason but because of it I would give 10 stars. I was asked what I was getting and doing because the gentleman noticed I had my kids with me, he said he couldn't allow me to go to the bar but I could order food. Way to look out for those kids I respect the man and the business just for looking out for the kids good job!!“

“I came here after work on a Friday night. It just so happen to be a Padres vs Dodgers game and this place was packed! I mean, for your regular local bar... it was poppin'!
Everyone had a good, positive vibe watching the game regardless of the rivalry (there was a mix of both fans here) they didn't have the jukebox playing, so it was strictly game time vibes!
But as soon as the game ended, Jaqui, the bartender at the time, turned the music UP!
Jaqui was the ONLY bartender serving the patrons all night! She not only was running around like crazy but she kept such an inviting, friendly smile the whole time! She made sure to keep a conversation going with her guests as well.
While I was here, I didn't hear of any complaints about the service. Jaqui made sure my refreshments 😜 were always full as well. She's by far the best I've seen yet!!
Overall, it's a cool bar to chill at during baseball games or even to have a night cap after work! & with Jaqui as your bartender, you'll leave here on a positive note and I bet you'll be back 😋😉“

“My wife and I stumbled upon Majorette while exploring Rolando Village. It looks like a dive bar, but it has a really good beer selection and great food. I'm a fried chicken sandwich snob, and it doesn't get much better than their fried chicken thigh sando. The only real option for my wife (who is vegetarian) was the grilled cheese sandwich. While it was delicious, it would be nice if they would at least offer an Impossible burger substitute for their smash burger. I also wish they were open for lunch instead of just dinner, but such is life. We will definitely be back soon!“

“I went to the Full Circle Saloon and they played this degrading song that said “A lap dance is better when the stripper is crying. Well I find it quite a thrill when she grinds me against her will.” More lyrics from this song say ” I told Bambi I wanted to skin her….. and wear her face like a mask. I have to admit it was even more of a turn-on when I found out she was doin’ me to buy baby formula.” This is a a song appropriate for serial killers and John’s who rape sex workers who are forced by their situation to work against their will. The bartender was angry and irritated with me when I asked to him to please turn it off. Two other female workers were unconcerned. The Female owner Michelle Bailey said she will not be a song N*** and did not offer to do anything about it. Oh She said there is a guy there that likes to play this song when he plays pool. If people there accept this happening I will vote by not going there.“

“we have been going to this place for years. with that said service was outstanding and the food was great as expected. I had surgery on my Right Knee and still not that comfortable sitting at bench tables. no problem here they sat us at a table with both chairs and bench. Now that is great customer service. They listened and accommodated us for lunch. Thank you Islands for paying attention to detail. we will be back . oh and if you like chicken. Try their Sandpiper. I get it every time .“

“Maverick, was an amazing host. Flora, was an amazing Server. Lily, was neither the host or our server but gave the upmost greatest customer service. We went out to another restaurant earlier and we're highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the customer service, presentation and even the taste and temperatures of our food. “This club is tucked away downtown and I kind of enjoyed it myself. A lot of couples came in, dressed in similar clothes to one another and we’re cutting a rug on the dance floor. Line dancing couples - classics of R&B . The drinks were good. Had a great time.“

“This place is most certainly a dive bar in all the best ways. I heard they had amazing fried pickles and it did not disappoint. Probably some of the best fried pickles I’ve ever had. I also order a small nacho to go, I don’t know what they put in their “spicy” cheese but it was so hot I thought my gums were bleeding and I had to abandon the food. It was busy so unless you walked up and stood at the bar it was difficult to get service. They also give you a vibrating tag that lets you know when your food is ready and you have to walk down to collect it. I also heard someone say they do karaoke every day at 7pm. I’d definitely come here again.“

“Definitely not a place that gets going all night like a club would but a very cool and quaint spot to grab a drink with a group friends. Pool tables and a variety of drinks on tap. Bartenders are receptive as well. Juke Box is a plus to play music of one’s choice.It’s honestly kind of it’s own place in the middle of everything, but wouldn’t mind staying here for a night and drink the night away. The Elwood is nearby too.“

“The first time I visited the taco shop. I ordered the ground beef roll tacos, it was an option for small ones or big ones I order big ones and they were delicious. Taco shops rarely sell a ground beef roll taco. The service was pleasent and the food is a good price. I will be returning soon.“

“Was ORIGINALLY disappointed because they didn't serve liquor. HOWEVER, they do have wine and 'sporty bombs', which were actually pretty tasty (shot of sake and cider). Otherwise, have domestics on draft plus a few IPA varieties (Elysian 'Spacedust' and Sculpin in bottle). The two pool tables are clean ($.75/game) and even. The wings were delicious, full of flavor, and paired perfectly with the ice-cold beer. The atmosphere was fun, energetic, and welcoming throughout my visit. Bartender was very busy, so not very fast, but she was very nice. Busy is not her fault. Maybe additional help during blush nights?
