“Had an amazing time last night (8/27) at Cowboys & Poodles! Both Mo & Chris were attentive and welcoming; making it feel like home and a place where I can be myself! Cocktails were delicious and perfectly crafted/balanced. There was a pop up cowboy show that happened out of nowhere, which caught me by surprise, it was so much fun and entertaining to be part of! Ruin Bar is eclectic, quirky & moody in the best way. It feels like stepping into a vintage curiosity shop with artsy touches, hidden corners & unusual décor. The indoor-outdoor setup at The LAB adds to the charm. It’s definitely atmospheric. There was a line around 10pm even on a weekday, & seating is limited, so it can feel energetic and a bit chaotic—but that’s part of its appeal. You order at the bar, grab your cocktail, & then find a spot or stand.

Value & Price Point:
For craft cocktails in a unique space, the price felt reasonable. Given the vibe, creativity & attention to detail, it felt like you’re paying for the whole experience, not just a drink.

“This is one of the greatest pizzas ever. I've tried a lot of pizza in Hb and FV. This had to be the freshest and most unique pizzas ever. They also have great names for the pizzas. I got the Home Alone and Life's a garden, Dig it. Amazing. I will be back for more pizzas. Also, while waiting for my pizza, I tried one of their signature beers. I was also so amazed how great it was, and it was one of the greatest beers ever. It was a great atmosphere, and the customer service was exceptional great. The whole experience was great. I have seen lines upon lines of people trying to get a seat at the Bristol location when there are like 1000 other places to get Mexican food in the area. Socal people are picky with their Mexican food and the market has already shown that this is the place.

Just go. Stop reading and eat their rice and beans. They could sell only that and I would still go. Yeah. Ponder that.“

Intriguing, dark-painted, one small door marked the front of a strip-mall establishment… hmmm…sorta scary…but not really!! But there were two of us, and we had researched this place…so… The doorman looked at us, said a few things and unlocked a chain. We walked through curtains into the darkest bar I had ever been in, and shuffled toward the green lit bar…which turned red, then blue. The girl bartender handed us a card which we couldn’t read…it was really dark inside. From the shadows, up walked a bearded guy wearing a black shirt with hibiscus’s, smiled, extended his hand and said, “Hi, I’m “WILL”…can I explain anything to you? We had lots of questions…about drinks, Tiki ceramics, glassware, appetizers…and WILL cheerfully explained everything…He was fun, cheery, smart, and So Nice!! He brought us amazing drinks (a Tropical Margarita, a Cococano and totally fun ceramic sculptures from which to drink…an Angler Zombie Fish with a light, and Carved Volcano mug that had a flame show-by WILL, included!! Awesome!!) Totally wonderful décor…lights, bamboo furniture, comfy stools, the Skull Cave and waterfall, starry night ceiling, cool pool tables with lotsa room around them…everything thought through perfectly!!! The key point is that the shops in this mall usually close at 9:00 PM, but they dare to stay open until 1:00 AM, and they are often fully booked. “The young man who took my order was friendly and helpful. I asked for sandwich suggestions since it was my first time there, and he definitely led me in the right direction.

The sandwich was loaded with all the good stuff, but WAY too much lettuce - there was no way to take a bite of it, and since I am not a snake and able to unhinge my jaw, I took most of it out. I did appreciate the generous helping of avocado and all the ingredients were fresh.
