“I always thought this was purely a bar, but I can tell you that they have a pretty mean brunch menu! I would highly recommend coming here. It’s dog friendly, the servers are amazing, and despite being so close to Harbor it’s quite quiet.“
“It's just your average bar. During Taco Tuesday they have a food truck come in but the problem is that they don't post prices on the truck itself for some reason. The truck is overpriced and don't really recommend it. The bar itself is decent place with a patio in the back to relax and talk. There is plenty of seating as well.“

“🌟 Welcome Experience
From the moment we stepped into Ruin Bar, we were transported into a world of moody vibes and cool underground energy. The lighting, the music, and the crowd created an atmosphere that felt both electric and intimate—like we’d discovered a local secret. It was the perfect place to unwind and sip something special. 🎶🕯️
⸻
🍸 Delicious Drinks
Every cocktail was a work of art! The Rye Old Fashioned was bold and smoky with just the right touch of sweetness—classic perfection. The Inca Ruin brought a creative twist that had us intrigued with every sip, while the Bees Knees was light, citrusy, and oh-so-refreshing. Each drink was balanced, flavorful, and made with serious craftsmanship. 🍯🍋🍹
⸻
🙌 Outstanding Service
Huge shoutout to Kim and Jess, the dynamic duo behind the bar! These two bartenders were absolute legends—welcoming, fast, and full of personality. They mixed drinks like pros and made everyone feel like regulars, even if it was their first time there. Their good vibes truly elevated the whole experience. 🙏💫

💬 Final Thoughts & Recommendation

“As someone who always loves to find the speakeasy places in the states, I did have a lot of fun here. I did go on a slow week day and for me that made it more enjoyable with friends. Definitely has a good/fun setup for the speakeasy atmosphere.“

“Arguably the best cocktails in Downtown Santa Ana, Club 616 is the gold standard for DTSA watering holes.
Serving up delicious celebratory poison and pure vibes.
616 provides daily specials, trivia nights, live DJs spinning vinyl, and jazz bands every week.
The drinks are consistently exceptional, but what truly sets this place apart is the staff and security, who are always kind, respectful, and welcoming.
This is a business I’m proud to support. Cheers to you, 616!“

“This is one of the greatest pizzas ever. I've tried a lot of pizza in Hb and FV. This had to be the freshest and most unique pizzas ever. They also have great names for the pizzas. I got the Home Alone and Life's a garden, Dig it. Amazing. I will be back for more pizzas. Also, while waiting for my pizza, I tried one of their signature beers. I was also so amazed how great it was, and it was one of the greatest beers ever. It was a great atmosphere, and the customer service was exceptional great. The whole experience was great. I'll be back for more for sure...“

“Lane Stone delivered an unparalleled level of client service that surpassed all expectations. He consistently went above and beyond, dedicating his weekends to showing us houses and remaining patient as we took our time to make decisions. He even proactively contacted agents with homes in escrow to explore the possibility of submitting backup offers. Thanks to his unwavering commitment, we successfully closed on our house during a highly competitive market period. Lane made it his priority to ensure that we felt valued and received his undivided attention throughout the process. The Sackin-Stone team, including Lane, provided outstanding support, with other agents stepping in when needed. Our experience with the Sackin-Stone team was exceptional, and we intend to rely on them for all our real estate needs in Orange County. They have earned a client for life!“

“Been here about 10 times now, discovered it one day in Newport for my first Mother’s Day, they were giving moms free churros and it was such a pleasant experience we’ve been making the 30 min drive to come back ever since. Always a pleasant experience, service is always friendly and quick, the atmosphere is fun with an 2 inside areas and 2 outside areas andthe food is great (we mostly always get steak Chilaquiles and their steak breakfast burrito). This is a great place for toddlers/kids we love sitting on the patio area with grass and tv, we’re happy and our kiddos are happy. The food is always reliably tasty well cooked meat and free chips and salsa (lots of salsa choices and all good). I’ve even come here with my girlfriend for a mom’s day out. Highly recommend such a pleasant experience and ideal spot for watching sporting events or just to feel comfortable eating out with kiddos!
Kid-friendliness: Ideal for kids and toddlers“

“Living in the boonies of San Diego Co has benefits…(no traffic jams)…but few awesome perks…(like Tiki bars!!) Luckily the gods aligned, in Orange Co, and our last stop was the Stowaway. Intriguing, dark-painted, one small door marked the front of a strip-mall establishment… hmmm…sorta scary…but not really!! But there were two of us, and we had researched this place…so… The doorman looked at us, said a few things and unlocked a chain. We walked through curtains into the darkest bar I had ever been in, and shuffled toward the green lit bar…which turned red, then blue. The girl bartender handed us a card which we couldn’t read…it was really dark inside. From the shadows, up walked a bearded guy wearing a black shirt with hibiscus’s, smiled, extended his hand and said, “Hi, I’m “WILL”…can I explain anything to you? We had lots of questions…about drinks, Tiki ceramics, glassware, appetizers…and WILL cheerfully explained everything…He was fun, cheery, smart, and So Nice!! He brought us amazing drinks (a Tropical Margarita, a Cococano and totally fun ceramic sculptures from which to drink…an Angler Zombie Fish with a light, and Carved Volcano mug that had a flame show-by WILL, included!! Awesome!!) Totally wonderful décor…lights, bamboo furniture, comfy stools, the Skull Cave and waterfall, starry night ceiling, cool pool tables with lotsa room around them…everything thought through perfectly!!! We are definitely going back…VERY soon!!!! Thanks so much for everything, WILL!!“
“Dining at Tsuruichi Wagyu is an unforgettable experience for anyone who appreciates the artistry and flavor of premium Japanese beef. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by an elegant yet cozy atmosphere that sets the stage for a meal that is both refined and deeply satisfying.
The star of the menu is, without a doubt, the Wagyu beef. Each cut is carefully selected for its marbling and tenderness, and the quality truly shines through in every bite. The A5 Wagyu was nothing short of extraordinary—rich, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Whether grilled to perfection at your table or prepared in one of the chef’s expertly crafted dishes, the beef here is a masterclass in flavor and texture.
The Wagu experience is highly recommended for those who want to explore the full range of what Tsuruichi Wagyu has to offer. Each course is thoughtfully presented, highlighting the versatility of Wagyu in both traditional and innovative preparations. The pairing of sauces and sides, from the delicate ponzu to the house-made pickles, enhances the meat without overshadowing its natural flavor.
The service at Tsuruichi Wagyu is impeccable. The staff is attentive and well-versed in the nuances of Wagyu, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring that each guest’s preferences are met. The attention to detail, from the presentation of the dishes to the timing of each course, adds to the overall experience, making it feel truly special.
The ambiance is intimate yet sophisticated, making it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a special celebration. The combination of luxurious food, exceptional service, and a serene atmosphere makes Tsuruichi Wagyu a standout destination for any Wagyu enthusiast.
Overall, Tsuruichi Wagyu offers a dining experience that is both luxurious and deeply satisfying. It’s a place where every element, from the quality of the ingredients to the elegance of the presentation, is designed to celebrate the art of Wagyu. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to indulge in one of Japan’s finest culinary traditions.“

“Stopped here before my gfs departing flight and it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was wonderful, the drinks were stiff and reasonably priced, and our bartender (Tucker) was the kindest and most efficient bartender I’ve ever had in my life. From now on, this place will be a mandatory go-to before flying out of SNA.“

“My friends and I visited this Mexican restaurant for a weekend dinner, and it did not disappoint. Located in the Newport Hill Shopping Center, parking was plentiful, and the restaurant boasts a comfortable ambiance with ample seating—including patio options—and even a bar setup. The service staff were friendly, making our dining experience enjoyable from start to finish.
We started with the blackened chicken nachos, which came in a good portion loaded with cheese and meat, though the meat was a bit on the lighter side. For our mains, we ordered a variety of dishes including the tacos carnitas and steak, Rosa burrito, Rosa bowl, and the Rosa combo. The meat in each dish was delicious, with the steak taco standing out in particular, and the Rosa combo was both plentiful and satisfying.
Overall, this is a great spot to enjoy a taste of Mexican cuisine in a relaxed setting.“

“I had a great experience at Board and Brew in Santa Ana! I tried the Turkey Deluxe Rub sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. The turkey was perfectly seasoned, and the combination of fresh ingredients and the sun flower seeds really made it stand out. It was one of the best turkey sandwiches I've had in a while.
I also couldn’t resist trying their chocolate chip cookie, and it did not disappoint. It was soft, chewy, and had just the right amount of sweetness — a perfect end to the meal.
I would definitely come here if I’m in the mood for a sub again.“

“I believe this is a restaurant run by Koreans. The young waitstaff all speak Korean, and the food is authentic. The key point is that the shops in this mall usually close at 9:00 PM, but they dare to stay open until 1:00 AM, and they are often fully booked. I greatly admire their wisdom and courage, highly recommend it.“

“The young man who took my order was friendly and helpful. I asked for sandwich suggestions since it was my first time there, and he definitely led me in the right direction.
The sandwich was loaded with all the good stuff, but WAY too much lettuce - there was no way to take a bite of it, and since I am not a snake and able to unhinge my jaw, I took most of it out. I did appreciate the generous helping of avocado and all the ingredients were fresh.
Lastly, for what I got, the price was very good. I'm a fan and I'll be back!“

“This is a traditional Vietnamese bar & grill place (Quan Nhau). It has a lively atmosphere. Seems to be popular with the older folks compared to other places. Having said that, the service and food are great! Just be ready for the bad, loud karaoke singing and smoking. Not a family hangout.“
