The trout and avocado dip arrived as a study in balance—savory, impossibly creamy, with neither the delicate trout nor the richness of the avocado overwhelming the other. Scooped up with their house-made chips, it was the kind of starter that sets the tone for everything to follow.
Then came the Delicata squash rings—golden halos of autumn, each one a perfect balance of sweet squash and caramelized edges.
The French onion soup deserves its own paragraph. Too often, this classic arrives as a salt bomb with rubbery onions lurking beneath a cheese raft. Not here. The base was rich but measured, letting the sweetness of perfectly cooked onions shine through—tender, never stringy or chewy. The bread and cheese on top? They melted into the broth like a dream.
The Branzino for two was revelation. Buttery flesh, skin so perfectly crisped it flaked at the touch of a fork, each bite elevated by those addictive Parker House rolls that begged to be torn apart and dragged through every last bit of butter on the plate.
And then the St. Honoré tart—crowned with three perfectly golden choux buns, each bite revealing layers of pastry and cream with caramel notes that lingered long after the last forkful disappeared.

I ordered a hawaiian pizza and they were out of ham. Had a disagreement with the employee, and left without buying a pizza.

The next day, they called, apologized for the miscommunication and made things right.

“The food and service here is always great. I have been eating here for the last 5 years and it never disappoints. Whether it would be going to lunch with my friends or eating with my family I was always satisfied. I personally really like the lemon grass chicken leg as it was always super tender and had good flavour. On top of this, the service at the restaurant is always great no matter how big your table is. I specifically remember coming in with a group of around 15 people and our waiter, Anthony, was super helpful and easily dealt with our large group. He was also incredibly friendly and greeted our large group with a big smile. Overall, I’ve always had a good experience coming to this place over the last 5 years as their food is amazing and the service is always super helpful and I would definitely recommend this place.“

“I don't live in Santa Rosa any more, I haven't in ~20 years but I grew up there and EVERYONE knows Sam's! I was in town for the holidays and went there for lunch with a friend. The menu is enormous and while I was tempted by the all day breakfast, I landed on a French Dip sandwich that I had been craving. If you are anywhere in the area, stop by, you'll be glad you did!

“Me and my girlfriend tried this restaurant this past Sunday on account that we became aware of them having a vegan menu to supplement there regular menu, obviously being Vegans ourselves this was pretty exciting, not many places have an entirely separate menu for us to access, well this was only the first of many good qualities about this establishment, the service was impeccable and all the staff were incredibly friendly and engaging and helpful, as well as genuine, and the food, let me tell you, you won’t find better flavors at almost any restaurant, I’m not even kidding, and the list goes on and on, the pricing was fair, the portions were plenty, the salsa and sauces were amazing, the variety was great, and what’s more is that they did not attempt to substitute any of the alternative meat options, they just made sure there dishes were flavorful and decently proportioned and came out of the kitchen in a timely fashion, literally we had not one complaint and this review is so much more than deserved, don’t even know if I’ve had a better all around experience at a restaurant ever, please all vegans if you have not tried this place yet, please do, and those of you that are not, they will not disappoint either! “We were spending the night in Petaluma and were searching for a good place to eat online. The menu looked good so we decided to go. The dining room was small, but clean and inviting. The man at the counter was friendly and welcoming. The samosas were flaky and delicious. The meat on the steak salad was so tasty and the salad was large and fresh. The person working recommended the Spicy Basil dish, and it did not disappoint. The food was so good,if we lived here we would eat here all the time.“

“My sons and I are on a short ride with our motorcycles from Santa Rosa, it started raining so we pulled into the Cock Robin parking lot in Sebastopol. We decided to go in for a burger and fries. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. I am not sure why we haven't come sooner. We will be back again very soon. Thank you to the staff and owners for having the perfect spot for us to get out of the rain and for the best burger and fries.“

“Their custom salads are my favorite. Choose a type of green (romaine, spring mix, etc.), and add ingredients, toppings and dressing. Nothing complex, but always good quality served with a smile. Their sandwiches are quite good, as well. One of the specials (as in, not available every day), is a Buffalo Chicken sandwich and is probably my favorite. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food.

Parking: It is a large lot, shared by multiple tenants in the shopping center. I have never seen it more than 50% full.“

The service was good. The price was reasonable. I: enjoyed the meal and would eat there again. My wife said she would try another dish next time. They have many many varieties of pizza on the menu if you want that. No double getting a table but had a reservation anyway.“

“This Hamburger Habit location has ample parking is easy to get to from the freeway. Bathrooms are super spacious and clean, some dining tables were not properly cleaned, but overall the place was very well lit and there were many places to sit in comfort. I had the Portobello Char burger with onion rings and regular flies as well as sweet potato fries. All of which were cooked to perfection. They have a do it yourself carbonated beverage machine with mini selections to choose from. I’d highly recommend visiting the spot, for comparison- the burger prices range from mid seven dollar with the highest being a $12 burger. Five guys burgers on average are $13 plus. I definitely rate this hamburger habit establishment over the five guys establishment across the freeway in Petaluma.“

“I was in the area and wanted something quick to grab for dinner and I saw Nick the Greek. Located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking, this location has a huge dining area! The service was great and quick. I wanted something small and got a falafel gyro. The ingredients and vegetables tasted so fresh! There’s plenty of seating inside and outside and I got my food quickly and devoured it. One thing I also love at Nick the Greek is their fro yo and adding baklava! Some locations I ask for the baklava at the bottom and put the chocolate coating on top. Soo good!“

Karaoke nights are always fun and the karaoke hosts are some of the best people and though you wouldn't know to look at it from the outside it is a queer friendly establishment and safe space.“

“WOW!! I walked into a restaurant that transported me to memories from long ago. Sappy, I know, but I can tell you that in all the restaurants that I've been to not one has ever nearly brought me to tears from the first step inside the door. The decor was tasteful, no awful booths, and inviting. The staff courteous. A question asked was answered with a genuine smile, no forced politeness here. The menu didn't have prices listed but that is a minor detail when you're hungry. I went in craving a gyro and found the most delicious dish I have ever had-a Gyro Bowl with pork. Perfection!!!!“
