“I visited the tea-tasting section and learned about their trademarked tea-espresso machine and the impressive variety of teas they offer. Nick was incredibly friendly and taught us about the ideal brewing times, tea quantities, and water ratios to make each drink. Highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning about High Mountain tea!“

“I have tried the tea and it's one of the kind, price is so reasonable for a large size, you need to try when you are around the area, words can't describe until you have tasted the tea and judge for yourself.... highly recommended.“

“Standard boba place. Their red bean ice was pretty good but a bit overpriced. Two drinks came out to $17, par for the course these day, and one of them was just a basic mango green tea.
Good location and has outdoor seating for people watching.“

“I kinda prefer this location to El Camino's because the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea here has a more intense flavor. However, it's wise to check the wait time if you're using the Snack Pass. The place can get quite bustling, which is a testament to their popularity and the consistent quality they maintain. I've tried strawberry milk tea, the Taiwan classic, Paradise Peach with cheese foam, fantastic fruit tea, and Oats Fresh Milk Tea, and each one was great in its own way. The toppings are also equally good, such as the QQ noodles, grass jelly, pudding, etc. When it comes to food, the popcorn chicken is a must-try. At the moment, their version is more satisfying than or arguably up to par with Ume Tea and Shihlin.“

“HiroNori has a really good vegan ramen with corn, tofu, soy crumbles, lettuce, and two broiled broccolini stalks. You can order either thick or thin noodles, but the difference between them isn’t huge. They also offer a red pepper and garlic sauce option on the side if you want it spicy (the default is not spicy at all). Overall it’s really good: comes out hot and a bit portion. Noodles are cooked well. They also have vegan gyoza, which is not common, and a nice side for the table. The dipping sauce for it is lemony and a bit strange. There’s also edamame available as an appetizer. And the yuzu-ade drink is pretty good. The food comes out pretty fast, but depending on when you go, service can be a little slow. They seem to only run with one person on the wait staff, handling hostess and delivery service prep duties too. It’s also just one big room, with a divider towards the center that blocks most of the view of the kitchen. Not the best ambiance, but perfectly fine for a quick bite. Parking is not great here as the shopping center is really popular.“

“The strawberry smoothy is fire. The super fruit tea tasted nice but when I was done drinking the watermelon was too soft to eat and in general the fruit bits were not present enough. Anybody that wants a very fruity tea I would recommend Moomo a few minutes north from here. This place is great for drinking while you're waiting in line for Kura. But i probably wouldn't come just for Tan-Cha from afar. Maybe for the strawberry smoothie.“

“Matcha lovers rejoice! For those of you who are obsessed with matcha and looking for something new to try, Izumi Matcha is the newest matcha shop on the block!
Izumi Matcha strives to bring the highest quality authentic Japanese matcha to America, providing patrons with not only matcha drinks and desserts for purchase, but also a variety of matcha good available in-store. I would go out on a limb and guess that majority of those visiting Izumi Matcha are wanting to sample their drinks or taiyaki treats, so keep in mind the lines can be quite long. Ordering is all done in-store on a self-serve kiosk and then you wait for your matcha treat to be ready and retrieve it when your number is called. Naturally, the store is busier on the weekend, but I've noticed that the 5-6pm window might be a sweet spot where the line does die down a bit (don't quote me on this as I've only been there twice).
Now onto what we tried! We ordered their matcha yuzu tea and the honey hojicha latte. The matcha yuzu pairing was a match made in heaven as the tart yuzu perfectly balances the earthy matcha for a smooth, yet refreshing drink. For those of you who want some extra matcha oomph you can also add a free extra matcha shot to your drinks! The hojicha on the other hand was a delicious not-too-sweet cup of roasted goodness. With the honey and dairy providing a smooth accompaniment for the deep roasted notes of the hojicha. I could go on and on about how good the drinks here, but honestly you should try it for yourself to really understand why so many people are flocking to Izumi Matcha. I only tried the drinks when I've been, but the taiyaki and soft serves are also extremely popular, so those will have to be on my list to try in the future!
If you're looking for the next best matcha place to try out in the Bay Area, the I highly recommend giving Izumi Matcha a try (as long as you can bear the long lines and wait, it'll be well worth it)!“

“I have been a regular customer for years, but today the customer service blew me away to the point I had to write a review. I went to Ten ren and asked for an unorthodox drink combination I wanted to try. I asked for their Barley milk tea with mango syrup. The employee Andre was perfectly pleasant and advised me that the combination could turn out not as I expected. But I assured them I was ready for the result. I never expected for him to give me samples of the milk tea with different levels of mango syrup to see which one suited my taste the best. Never before has a boba place offered me samples to make sure the drink was how I wanted it to be. Honestly, it was amazing. Kudos to Andre and the management who found such an amazing employee. It just made me fall in love with this shop even more.“

“Great food and great boba! The rose tteokbokki was a bit too big and decadent for my taste, but it was great to try out. Babo Boba seems to lean more on the decadent side for both their drinks (I got the blueberry matcha latte and that had plenty of blueberry jam) and their snacks; you can get full bentos here.“

“The place is part of a small food court, I got Oyster Mee Sua, to my taste it is thin noodles in thick/starch broth, the good is pretty good, but I'm not a big fun of thick soup overall. I was served within 5 minutes (came around 8 pm)“

“After a San Jose Giants baseball game my Daughter said Dad let’s go get some Dessert & so we drove up to Cupertino to this late night Taiwanese Hotspot for Desserts. I imagined I was in Taiwan! The place was packed with The Young from Taiwan & The Oriental. How does my lil girl know all these places I wondered… But then when I was her age there was No iPhone or TikTok…we adults need to bear that in mind! News travels faster on iPhone 😉 Good Deserts: whether you like ‘em Cold or Hot! It’s a Desserts Factory & Assembly Line worth seeing & savoring too!“

Pretty good mango sago flavor wise. Lowkey not sure why there are some crunchy ice bits inside it. Might have melted but not sure.
Wow: -1/1
Why’d it take forever to get this drink. So long that my drink melted???
