“I definitely recommend this restaurant. The Wagyu A5 was next-level—cooked perfectly, super tender, and just melted in my mouth with crazy rich flavor. The environment was classy and elegant, real nice vibes that made the whole meal feel special. Our waiter, cool dude, was on it, super friendly, and kept everything smooth.“

“Exceptional service. At the start of our meal Michael asked everyone seated if we had any food allergies and then crafted all of our dishes around that. Every dish was presented with dedicated beauty and integrity to the food. Delicious food happens here 💖💖“

“What a fun little hidden gem. Came here in a Saturday not long after they had opened. The vibe of the wine bar is definitely unmatched. Unknown to me, they had a happy hour special running. There were tons of great little bite options my party and I enjoyed. Definitely will be back again.“

“We tried to visit Goodtime Bar once before, but seating is very very limited, so decided to try again another time when we could get a seat (it's a small space, both inside and outside, and even the standing room is limited - but standing room isn't what I'm looking for in a wine bar).
Last night we made it at a time when we were able to grab the only 2 seats available. The ambiance is great - the setup is very modern, and the music is enjoyable. I was rather disappointed by their Wines by the Glass selection - rather, their lack thereof. Their menu has a single listing for "wines by the glass" with each color listed beneath (bubbles, white, orange, red) and a note to ask what they're pouring tonight. I like this in concept - it suggests a rotating menu. however, the options were limited - for a red, they only had a red blend (no other options for a single glass). I will caveat that with this: the red blend was delightful and I would absolutely get it again (if I knew what it is)! but when I go out to a wine bar, I'm interested in either a flight of different wines, or 2 glasses of 2 different wines (of the same color). so while our intention was to stay for 2 glasses each, we just had the single glass and left.
they do seem to have plenty of Wines by the Bottle options - again, a single listing on the menu pointing you to all the bottles on the wall with their prices written on them in sharpie. so if you're with a bigger group, or planning to stay for the whole evening, I can see Goodtime being a good time for you!
our service was great too! they are super friendly. a table inside with kids accidentally broke a wine glass, and I watched two of the workers immediately rush over to clean it up. I was very impressed with the response and the response time.“

“I’ve eaten here twice with a wide sampling of dishes and Devine is absolutely mind blowing. Their mixtures of flavors is truly a beautiful form of art……and I don’t think I’ve ever said that about any restaurant! Goat cheese and caramel? It’s now a go to for our own charcuterie board at home……Herb infused brittle and cheese? I need to have more! It is truly perfection! Last night we enjoyed their four course meal (i highly suggest two people get their own and split, there’s two choices for the salad/soup, main, and dessert, you don’t want to miss out on anything!). Every bite we took had us stop in awe. Devine is a gem! We even loved that the employees/owners come with laughs and personality. It’s a fun and light environment that added so much more to our experience. As the place got busy, our waiters didn’t waver in his attention for anyone! We appreciated that since we’re aware that everyone is still getting up to speed post pandemic, but Devine didn’t miss a beat! 🙌Cannot wait to come back! (Picture was after we had dug in🤣)“

“I came across this wine bar after having dinner in the area. I’m so glad I did! Super impressed with their wine selection - I loved that they supported local wineries and they were so knowledgeable about all things wine. “I’ve been coming here since they reopened most of the people here that work here are from flights in Campbell so it’s like all my regular friends are working here. Still I come Tuesdays and Thursday nights home away from home. He can’t go wrong. Food is good. Beers are good. The only thing they need is a second bathroom and happy hour And everything would be perfect“

“Tessoras is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the warm, inviting ambiance and the effortlessly chic yet cozy vibes. The wine selection is top-tier, offering a thoughtfully curated variety that caters to every palate. Whether you're a casual wine drinker or a seasoned connoisseur, you'll find something to love here. A huge shoutout to Monica, who made the experience truly unforgettable. Her bubbly, happy personality was infectious, and her knowledge of wine was beyond impressive. She somehow knew exactly what I wanted—before I even knew it myself! Every recommendation was spot on, making the night even more special. If you're looking for the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy exceptional wine, and soak in an amazing atmosphere, Marta's is the place to be. Can't wait to come back! 🍷✨“

“We’ve been to this places twice for wine tasting in the past but the bistro didn’t open at that time. So we went on Sunday for special Mother’s Day brunch and give it a try. My sister is their member so we can order five different entries from their set menu. We had Shakshuka , Benedict eggs, avocado and salmon with bread , duck fried rice and special charcuterie.
The taste of all dishes are amazing. The duck meat is very well seasoned so it is not gamey at all .Shakshuka tastes like the one we had in Jerusalem.
Nice and friendly service. We can’t wait to come back again for their regular meal.“

“Lelé Kitchen is a superb dining experience. Its exquisite dishes are as delicious as they are beautiful. This is one of the Bay Area’s finest restaurants and deserves a place among the top five destinations for fine dining. The head chef is a true artist, with an impeccable vision for flavor, texture, and originality. The staff provide outstanding service and genuine hospitality, while the atmosphere is both inviting and elegant. We only wish it were closer to Berkeley so we could visit more often.“

“Cozy spot, but be mindful of the noise!
It’s a small and cozy place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Since it was raining, my friend and I chose to sit indoors. Initially, it was perfect — quiet and relaxing. A couple of tables were occupied by two people, and everything seemed peaceful.
Then four guys walked in, and it completely changed the atmosphere. It got incredibly loud to the point where I couldn’t even hear myself talk. I had to raise my voice so my friend could hear me, which definitely ruined the cozy vibe we were hoping for.
Tip: If you choose to sit inside, make sure the space isn’t filled with loud groups.
Other than that, the food was good, the wine was delicious, and the servers were very friendly and polite. Worth a visit, just be mindful of the noise level! 🍷“

“An exceptional culinary experience at Protégé in Palo Alto. Every dish showcased masterful technique and impeccable flavors. The A5 Japanese Wagyu Ribeye was perfectly marbled and melted effortlessly, while the Crab and Caviar delivered a luxurious balance of brine and sweetness. The lobster toast was crisp, buttery, and indulgent, and the Black Bass—flawless in execution—was the best I’ve encountered. The Ricotta Dumplings , delicate yet deeply flavorful, rounded out an unforgettable meal. The shigoku oysters with whipped ponzu were indescribably fresh and flavorful. The sunflower Caesar, with its preserved tomato jam, was a unique and unforgettable twist on a classic. As for the brick chicken that we took to go, it was so delicious that it barely made it home before being devoured. The experience was elevated even further by the outstanding service—every person was kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to creating a memorable evening. A true showcase of precision, creativity, and hospitality“

“We had a delicious dinner here. The staff was so friendly to accommodate us and our child. We didn't have reservations on a Friday, but luckily they were able to seat us. We love the homemade bread with marscapone, double fried mushrooms, fried chicken and we added caviar, and the scallops. Also the cocktails are amazing! I hope they make a kids menu option someday. We definitely will come back soon! Love the ambiance too.“

“This is the only Indian restaurant to my knowledge in the Bay area that has a dinner buffet(only during the weekends). At $25 per plate, I think it’s very reasonable for Bay area pricing. If I really had to nitpick, I would say they tend to overuse the curry leaf in every entree dish to the point it overwhelms you and ruins the flavors from the other spices. Their goat curry is particularly a culprit where it feels more like a curry lead stew and absolutely no flavor from the goat meat itself.
Also, I will not recommend their “paan” beetle leaf (seperate from the buffet) where they put in excess of coconut shavings and absolutely destroys the subtle flavor of the beetle leaf.
Else, I really have not much against this place. It has been my go to comfort food destination for over a year now“

“Amazing location but local individuals are ignorant.Me and my husband had some wine which was amazing ….2 hour later , two Indians came in , ordered and sat next to us . After a few minutes, they started voicing , complaining that we were speaking on the phone (not directly but went to complain to the employee working )Very sad that because we were speaking on the phone “ we were non educated “.Location is very nice but these some local individuals are disgusting.Individual employee serving the wine and attending to the location was amazing :) would come back just because of his service“

“Fantastic meal made with care and attention to detail. Fresh ingredients from the farmer's market. Desserts made in the restaurant (normally not done because restaurants otherwise lose money on desserts), even the ice cream. The restaurant is small so they can keep track of everyone and not run their kitchen as an assembly line. The customers are mostly regulars.“

“From the moment we stepped into La Catalana, we were transported to an authentic Spanish-Catalan experience. The atmosphere exudes warmth, passion, and attention to detail, making it the perfect place for a memorable evening. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish crafted with care and rich in flavor. The tapas were exquisite, and the hand-selected Spanish-Catalan wines perfectly complemented our meal. Rodrigo, our server, went above and beyond, providing exceptional recommendations and ensuring we had an incredible dining experience. His attentiveness and knowledge truly elevated our visit. A special highlight was meeting Monserrat, the owner, whose kindness and hospitality made us feel at home. Her love for the community and dedication to creating a welcoming space is evident in every aspect of La Catalana. We visited to celebrate friendship and an award received by one of our friends, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. As community leaders, we wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to everyone. La Catalana is more than a restaurant—it’s an experience filled with passion, culture, tradition, and heart. We have found a new favorite spot, and more importantly, a new friend in Monserrat and her team.“

“Always great returning to Broma. Looks like their recent menu revamped to include more Mains than Appetizers. I miss having more tapas options, but food was good. Personally loved the "pork" appetizer, and would love the recipe for it!! Dessert couldve been better- both the Ube mochi cake and Calamansi cake felt a little dense. A little surprised by the automatically applied service fee (we were a group of 3). All in all though, good food and vibes, though a littlw pricey“
“Recently, we went to Afternoon tea at ESC in the Four seasons and it was such a delight.
The experience was different than other afternoon tea experiences and felt more intimate.
The portions are smaller than other places (especially for the price) but quality was delicious. For items we weren’t too fond of they took feedback well. Because I was pescatarian, I let them know ont he reservation and they took care in switching the items I couldn’t eat with items I could.
You can smell the teas beforehand and get a choice of two teas per person. I loved being able to do this!
Service was great and they change the menu every so often to update with feedback and changes of the season.“

“Everything we had was tasty. The mussels dish was our favorite. Garlic noodle was also really good. The salmon mousse, we couldn’t really taste the salmon in it but it tasted fine. We also ordered catch of the day dish (not shown in picture), the fish was light and crispy but the kimchi fried rice it came with was lacking; it tasted more like lightly seasoned fried rice—couldn’t taste the kimchi. Overall, the presentation was great and taste was enjoyable.“
