“This little spot is great! We stopped for a quick lunch while traveling. The place was sparklingly clean (even the restrooms) and had a great family vibe. The carne asada tocos were very good and there were gluten-free and vegetarian options marked on the menu.”

Not only movie, TV and music nostalgia but also kind and considerate waitresses like Lucia who posed for a picture with me and the Blues Brothers and told us the history of Peggy Sue’s along with her great service. “Well organized need to clear out homeless before they hurt some one bus parking need some one to look out for passengers constantly walking in front of buses trying to park Bus drivers need a separate line to get their food McDonald's drive thru guests block the drive way for the buses .”

“This is a locals bar that was very friendly. We stumbled on The 86ers on Thanksgiving Day and there was a good crowd. They had a nice Thanksgiving dinner set up for everyone that was free. I felt that the drinks were a little pricey but what isn’t these days. We struck up a conversation with a couple of locals and we laughed for hours. We had a great time. If were ever back in Barstow overnight we will definitely go there again.”
