“Amazing food and service! We had the combo platter (various mezzes) and the kuzu incik (lamb shank), as well as some baklava and turkish coffee for dessert. Food was flavourful and tender (lamb fell apart from the bone). However, what really stood out was the excellent service. Not only were servers quick and attentive, but they also went out of their way to ensure we had proper sized portions (we got some extra lamb because our piece was on the smaller side). Overall, fantastic place for a meal.“
“It's rare to find a place with so many outstanding reviews - all of them are more than accurate!Absolutely delicious homemade food! Go and try yourself! I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely come back! The Manti were to die for!“
“Everything was well worth its price! Every plate had an exceptionally generous serving of meat, and everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The hummus and olive oil were excellent, pitas were nicely firm, and falafel had a crunchy outside. I wish there were more vegetables to balance out the meat and grains, but otherwise everything was perfect!Vegetarian options: This restaurant's specialties are meat, but there are multiple vegetarian options and I bet they all taste great.Wheelchair accessibility: Nicely spaced tables that waiters can move as you need, and no ramps or stairs. Door is not powered.“
“Oh wow! This place was great. The gentlemen works were very helpful, considerate, and polite. Seemed like they really appreciated my business and enjoyed sharing their food with me. On top of that.. Food was delish! Establishment was clean. Very impressed and much appreciated.“
“I had the Street Style Beef and Lamb Gyro Wrap and it was very good. This was surprising because I walked it quite a ways before sitting down to eat, so it was getting cold and looked kind of small. No! It had big meaty flavor and a great (full fat) yogurt sauce. It's very satisfying and an excellent price for San Francisco. The service was kind and professional (I always giggle when strangers call me boss). The neighborhood isn't the best of course, but the inside is light, bright, and new with a good amount of seating so next time I'll probably just eat there. A solid addition to the local food options!“
“LOVE LOTUS SO MUCH!! OUR FAVORITE PLACE IN SAN BRUNO! Love the shawarma and the shawarma fries, never actually been disappointed by anything we've ordered because it's always so good. Food tastes amazing, is super filling, and pretty healthy. We always order extra tahini and hummus and tabouleh! In terms of desserts I've only had their tiramisu, and it was pretty good! If you're looking for good food, lotus is the place. (free palestine)“
“We all had different dishes. We had the lamb, the prime rib, and the two chicken dishes. The server was lovely and welcoming. The food was so good and so fairly priced for the portions and taste! The place was empty and it does not deserve to be!“
“This was the random spot I picked to have dinner in SF. Was in the area purchasing a vehicle and decided to give it a try. The cashier was very patient with us and was smiling the entire time we were there. He seemed like an easy-going, content individual. Order to go but decided to eat there in the outdoor dining area. The gentleman was quick to pull us a heater (it was cold and windy-SF). Such great customer service and the food was delicious. We both enjoyed the lamb plate. Everything had excellent flavor and the meat was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. I rarely go to SF but if I'm ever in the area, I'd consider coming here again.“
“First off, food is sooo amazing! We ordered five different skewers. Every single one of them is delicious. The potsticker is a must try. Definitely freshly made in house. Not average frozen ones. Meat fillings are so fresh and the size is large. We also got the tepan beef ribs, soo soft inside. Right amount of seasoning, not overly salty yet very flavorful! Will come again for sure. They don’t have many tables. We came on a rainy day which is fine.“
“5 ⭐️from the bottom of my heart ! First i kept my expectations low cause as a Turkish person my taste standards are pretty high especially when it comes to my own cuisine. I tried most of the Mediterranean restaurants in the Bay area but this one is a bomb. Lahmacun's dough is crunchy like as it should be , i got 'to go'their combo kebab which comes with hummus and salad. Even the side dishes are competing the main. Staff is pretty kind. I am definitely coming back for more!“
“This is such a fantastic restaurant! We are only visiting the area, but this would 100% be a go to for me if I lived in San Fran. We ordered the kale and couscous salad as well as the lamb shish kebab plate. The dressing on the salad was incredible and the portion was hearty enough to leave you satisfied. The lamb kebabs were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The environment was a laid back while still being a great date night spot. I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant and highly recommend checking it out!“
“Used to be a great place. One of the places where I used to feel always welcome.Unfortunately lately the service and cleanliness of the place got sloppy. Wait time has increased and the staff was a bit rude. Also the place is not very clean.“
“The adventure started at the top of Kite Hill when my boyfriend looked out at San Francisco and said, "I really want a gyro." We watched some dogs gallop through the grass and kept calling them Boot and Skipper. Turns out Boot's real name is Peanut. So we went down some stairs down to the Castro and lit up a joint. The wind made it impossible but it was worth it. I have my boyfriend order for me because I'm too high to be cool in public. He orders his gyro combo and me, a falafel combo. We battle the winds to walk back to my apartment and pop open the styrofoam once we're back to safety. The feeling of disappointment was palatable from my boyfriend when we realized we had two falafel combos and no gyros. Mission failed, we'll get 'em next time.“
“Food was wonderful and plentiful! We sat outside and it seemed like a struggle to get the attention of any server. They were friendly once we were finally able to get their attention, but I feel like it shouldn't be necessary to send someone inside in order to get table service (which we had to do multiple times).“
“The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The prices are high but consistent with peer restaurants. The inside is a bit small but the servers do a good job. I highly recommend for take-out especially, or dine in with small groups.“
