“first time visit, lunch. NOT crowded, therefore, noise level very low, so could converse without having to lip read. Great variety on menu, excellent service, good selection of wines. Give it a try.”

“As a person with celiac’s disease and other food allergies I appreciate that bread is only served if requested. I had the filet and it was great. The staff is knowledgeable about food allergies and cross contamination. We will be adding this restaurant to the small list of places that are allergy friendly in the bay area.”
“I ordered a cheese pizza and one with chicken, pineapple and onion. Both were very tasty.
Also I ordered over the phone on their voicebit AI system and it was really easy.
My only complaint is that I wish the bottom was a bit more crispy. Otherwise, the pizza was yummy.”
“Just wrapped up an early dinner at Taro Sushi and couldn’t be happier with the experience. We ordered the eight-piece sashimi, the Prospect Roll, and the Katsu—and every single dish was excellent. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and beautifully plated, the Prospect Roll had the perfect balance of texture and flavor, and the Katsu was crispy, juicy, and comforting.
Service was warm and attentive, and the whole vibe of the restaurant felt relaxed and family-friendly—perfect for an early evening out.
Taro is a gem in Danville. We’ll definitely be back!”

“This beautiful Thai restaurant is located in Danville. Yesterday we had project dinner in this restaurant. Liked the fish dish more than chicken dish . Thai Basil chicken was little sweeter in taste similar to teriyaki chicken. Shrimp tempura & whole Brazino fish fry was awesome in taste similar!”
“The service is professional at this restaurant. They have real Turkish food, delicious, yummy anything you name it. I had chicken shawarma wrap and it was amazing! They also have a lot of homemade chocolates and baklavas.
Thank you for providing healthy meals!”

“So happy to finally have an authentic French bakery cafe in our town. Their coffees, breads, pastries and quiches are superb and I love it when they add new flavors and items on the menu. Also I think most of their pricing is reasonable given the quality of their ingredients. So they are doing fabulous but here are some additional suggestions from me - -I wish they would do a weekly soup and quiche flavor according to the seasons as they do with desserts. -I would love to see a comprehensible cake list with sizes and prices to be able to order cakes for birthdays and such. -I would love to see opera cake slices as it’s one of my favorites. -Since most items are on the $$ side, it would be great if they let people sample a few of the newer things because people are hesitant to spend money on something they are not sure they would like. I give Benoit ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”
“Fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious Mediterranean food in Danville! My wife and I love this place and order takeout from here every week. I highly recommend the gyros, salmon plate, shrimp, dolmas, tzatziki, and rice pilaf. Everything is cooked to perfection, and the grilled Mediterranean flavor they achieve is simply fantastic. We’ll definitely keep coming back and are so glad to have this wonderful, healthy Mediterranean restaurant in Danville.”
“My boyfriend and I always come here when we’re craving for something delicious and healthy. I order the same thing every time because it’s so good. 😅 The Salmon with Quinoa is my favorite! I should try something else next time because my bf have tried a few different ones and he always end up liking it. I also love the chocolate chip cookie! Wish they sell a pack of 12 😂”
“I recommend the pancakes.great people .Great conversations with the owners.if you eat here you will not leave hungry”
“Had a lovely evening at The Barnyard! Service was the best and our server chose the most delicious wines for my custom wine flight. My friend had the sparkling flight and really enjoyed it. We shared an excellent charcuterie board and buratta. Will definitely return.”
“Our new favorite Sushi place. Have been here a few times and never been disappointed. Service is excellent and in comparison to our previous regular which is nearby, we found this is to be less expensive, better tasting and generous portions. Definitely a must try if you want to deviate from your regular for a change.”

“I have only been here twice during the day but, so far but each time the food was absolutely the best I have had in Danville. The ingredients are imaginative and exceptionally tasty. What I also appreciate is that the chef’s menu changes which makes it exciting. The exterior is not much and could be improved, but that may keep the crowds away for a while which makes it easier for me to look forward to bringing friends and enjoying a charming meal!!!!”
“Manny the Owner greeted me at the door I was immediately welcomed in and Had a amazing experience I ordered my usual Small chicken club with my bone in wings Food came out on time and nice and hot definitely recommend coming to Mountain Mike’s Danville Super clean and Nice and comfortable”

“Last Friday evening our party of 8 celebrated a warm and jubilant birthday, early Father’s Day party. From our arrival to our leaving the entire staff greeted us like family. All of our appetizers, Sushi-Rolls, were delicious! We all loved our Entrees-our seafood was expertly prepared!

“We ordered the combination shawarma plate. Food tastes great and well balanced as it came with a generous servings of meat along with the flavorful steamed rice, salad and pita bread with hummus. Their mango lassi is so good, not overwhelmingly sweet. Our lady server was very pleasant and greeted us with a smile. Overall the restaurant ambience very nice, clean and quiet. Even the restroom was fairly clean.”
“Our 3rd time at Tides in about a year was a quiet Sunday evening. I just love the decor in this restaurant. The deep green velvet upholstered banquettes, the high ceilings and the use of plants create a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere. As usual, we had very good service, and our meals were excellent. As an Andrea Aker, I appreciate that they had several nonalcoholic cocktails to choose from. I decided to try one called “the love of L“. It was a lavender flavored lemonade with lychee syrup. It was delicious. A little too sweet for my taste. To make it a 10, it would be great if there could be an option to have this without as much sugar (or even with stevia sweetener). It’s a small group of mine about most mocktails: they are all made very sweet. Still, it was beautifully presented and tasty. My husband enjoyed some of it too. He got an old-fashioned that was smoked. It was kind of elaborate —they smoked at the table. He loved it! We tried the new Teriyaki steak skewers as an appetizer. I really like this! I almost never order beef at a restaurant, but this preparation appealed to me. There was a lovely little salad with a sesame based dressing that accompanied them. Both of us got fish entrées. I had the Seabass and he had the blackened halibut. We both liked his better. It came with a mango salsa and a scrumptious Passionfruit beurre Blanc sauce. We couldn’t resist ordering dessert. Carrot cake is one of my husband’s favorites and this one was prepared without raisins, which is perfect because he doesn’t like raisins. It was delicious. I got the flourless chocolate torte. That was also a winner. It has a texture like ganache or fudge icing on a cake. It came with a raspberry coulis and some whipped cream. We also got ice cream to go with. Usually Tides is busier, but this was the first Sunday night of the back to school week so the whole town was pretty quiet. And with only a few other tables, the noise level was nice in the restaurant and we could easily hear each other talk. I’m pretty sure even when the restaurant is more full that it’s still one of the quieter restaurants.”

“Great Korean food! I’m so glad they didn’t compromise on the authentic taste even though they are not in a heavily Korean/asian area. The server was friendly and warm even though he was the only one there. He served everyone with a smile on his face which was great!
I’ll be going here every time I miss Korean food.”

“So excited Danville Kitchens took over the Garlex space. SUCH good pizza! My family loves it. I have to eat gluten free and the gluten free pizza is the best I have ever had. Even my husband and kids say you can’t tell it’s gluten free!
Wings and salads are super yummy too. Will be excited once they are able to serve beer it will be fun to stay in and eat there. We’ve only ordered to go at this point.”
“Amazing food!! Hands down the best toasts in the entire Bay Area and great coffee too! We ordered avocado toast and salmon toast - both were delicious, extremely fresh and great presentation! Delicious juice too, although the consistency was more of a lemonade, but nevertheless very refreshing and yummy. They also have mimosas and champagne-based coctails, along with berry oats, as an alternative to a toast in the morning - both of which are definitely on my list to try next.
Also very cute ambience and views from the cafe - will be back to this place very often!”
“Friendly, attentive service. Perfect fish and chips, (crunchy batter, soft, moist fish, un-soggy fries), paired great with a double IPA. Cobb salad was loaded, and very fresh. Iron Horse Trail proximity gives biking and walking options, but there's plenty of off-street car parking.”
“Enjoy coming to yogurt shack in the heart of Danville. Great variety of yogurt flavors and toppings. The owners staff with mostly high school youth. Looks like an excellent first job and the kids seem to not only enjoy working there but are very friendly and helpful. I love that it is conveniently located next to primos. It's a great after dinner treat.”
“Clean restaurant, Gluten Free options, friendly customer service. Was welcomed upon opening the entrance (the two ladies knew me lol). Our waitress was very friendly and kind checking in with us regularly. The fisherman’s stew and crème brûlée was delicious. 10/10”

Will come here again when in the area! I recommend you try it.”
“This place is the best! The atmosphere is adorable and There’s awesome daily specials for drinks/coffee and a wide selection of pastries to choose from. You can taste the quality here, it’s obvious that the bakers make everything fresh. Tons of savory options as well, so Tal’s is a good lunch option too. Would recommend!”
“While visiting Danville, California, I took my grandchildren to eat some ice cream. My son took all of us to Cold Stone Creamery. It is the best & popular place for eating ice cream. The quality is good, creamy and delicious. The toppings are plenty and superb. We had a really good time. For adults or children, if you are craving for ice cream, this is the place to go.”
“We Dine In and order Take Out from this restaurant and have for many years. Our favorites are Egg Rolls, Won Ton Soup, Sweet and Sour Pork, Broccoli Beef, Cashew Nut Chicken, Mu Shu Chicken, And Combination Chow Mein. The portions are large; we usually take some food home. Service is excellent. The restaurant is very clean and bright.
Parking: Park in front of restaurant and in free parking lot.”
“We order take-out pizza here almost every Friday night. The Pizza is the best “NY” style pizza you can get in the area. Anyone who says differently has never been to New York. I can’t speak to any of their other menu items. The pizza across the street is not comparable. The family that runs the place are nice enough, really just order and cordial greetings when ordering and paying. The atmosphere inside is definitely lackluster. I personally wouldn’t dine in. While i have seen 1 or 2 guests eating in, it doesn’t really look like they want people to sit down. It’s almost like they had dine-in pre-covid and left the dinning room as is and don’t object to people sitting but also don’t do anything to make it comfortable. From what’s visible of the kitchen areas, the food prep and service areas look clean and cared for. It’s really just the interior structure - walls, floors and ceilings haven’t been maintained. To a newcomer walking in you might think they are going out of business any day now. But I have been ordering pizza for a few years now and never fails on consistent quality and taste.”
“The food is outstanding the atmosphere very inviting wish I had the time to sit with a glass of chanti wine 🍷 and enjoy the aromas of the food while being prepared!”

“Don't drink, so I ordered a diet Soda. The bartender warned me that he didn't know who's diet it was but that it wasn't that good. He was being nice to what ever it was I had. Disgusting,Horrible diet soda. Everything else was great. Except a Niners glass....Probably because of my Seahawks Shirt.”

“I really like this store, it’s unfortunate the staff is so small now. I see one person here doing the job of two to three people whereas other stores have greater staff where that’s not needed. I’m curious why they stay or don’t move locations, as I see it being so stressful for them at times.Regardless, what I love most about it is regardless of the work conditions or severe understaffing, they always are very nice, respectful, and fast.
Parking: Parking is shared among other businesses in the strip mall, normally plentiful
Kid-friendliness: Baristas are nice to all.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps or elevations.”

“Our favorite Mexican restaurant!! The Ahi Aguachile (sashimi dish) was amazing, as was the Chicharron Tacos (pork belly). Service is fabulous and the people are fantastic.”

“The food at Isola is always amazing and this visit was no different. Wonderfully authentic Italian flavors. It's impossible to not enjoy every bite. The service was also incredible. We dined at the bar this time and Ben was fantastic! He did everything, including welcoming us, fixing our drinks, handling our meals and providing great conversation throughout the evening. Can't wait to go back!”

“If you are looking for a beautiful and upscale restaurant to host your event or group take this as your sign to do so. Nitin and Sarab were so accommodating and a pleasure to work with. They design your menu to what you're looking for and the wine/drinks selection is fantastic. The staff even helped us set up our decor and our guests still talk about how good the food was. Thank you guys and will always recommend :)”
