New American Restaurants near Dillon Beach, CA

“We were hoping to try the Coastal Kitchen Dillon's Beach before leaving our glamping trip, Oct. '25, at Lawson's Landing. It was surprisingly Sooooo GOOD! The place is tucked away and only open 4 days a week. Ray had the Best Burger & Fries. I had the Fish Tacos! Outstanding. The clam chowder was so good, we picked up 2 orders to go. Service was excellent, setting Five Stars, cafe was clean! We will definitely make it a top priority when we return next year.

“Great experience last night! Crab cake was delicious, duck was perfect, rock shrimp and Italian sausage pasta was delicious and petrale sole was also amazing. Had the carrot cake which was served warm with a light creamy topping. So glad we tried it. Definitely will be back!“

“My friend and I shared a wine tasting which consisted of three small glasses of tasting size. You get to pick the three wines that you want. Not a huge selection., but works. We decided to eat there and I got the crabcakes which were pretty tasty a spicy sauce on top, and there were bell peppers and with the crabcakes. My friend got salmon with the skin was very crispy which he likes but the inside was too rare and he had to ask them to cook it more. It came back, still a bit too rare, and we fed that to the seagulls….The couscous salad that came with it was the best thing of all. I would not run back there but if you’re hungry and in that exact area, it’s a convenient place to grab a bite to eat. They have a couple of different patios outside, and the staff was very friendly. The one remark my friend said was that if they’re going to leave the salmon that raw like they said they usually do, they should ask people how they like it cooked. He loves sushi, but it was too rare for him being that it was salmon. It was a great day to get away from the high heat of Sonoma. We went from the 90s to the 60s wearing a jacket. He had never gone by the school house from Alford Hitchcock The Birds, so we did that on the way out.“

“Very much enjoyed my time at the casino bar and Grill. The bartenders were very kind and Fantabulous at their job. The tamale pie was awesome. Love that it was a place where locals go. I felt like I was back in time when the days were Grandioso.“

“I had my intimate wedding dinner catered onsite at Ginochio's on 10/10. From the early planning conversations with Patty, to her family's kindness and accommodation on what turned out to be a rainy day (Patty and Alicia put out prayers to the rain gods that it would stop for us!), to the INCREDIBLE food AND service, we fell in love with the Ginochio family. Patty and her family were so gracious with our party, as they are with the local community (if you know, you know!). Everyone in our party RAVED about the food and the service. We had a wonderful experience here and will definitely be back during future Bodega trips to experience the regular menu. Thank you again!!“

“October 28, 2025 is the 3rd year we've celebrated our anniversary at Drakes Sonaoma. We going back which means this restaraunt is Fantastic. Everyone from the the Host/Hoestess, to the bussers want to do thier best for us. We are remembered by all each time and they stop by our table to wish us the best. Like being visited by family. Love it. Prices are very reasonable for the high quality food received.“

“The food is great. Most meals can be shared which 4 of our party of six did. The service was fantastic. And what can you say about atmosphere when on the coast. It wasn't noisy the Wednesday evening we went but it probably could be if the place was crowded. This evening was a 5 star night but other times it was a 4 star night.“
