New American Restaurants near Dillon Beach, CA

“The food here was delicious; I really have no complaints taste-wise! The only issue was the price. Everything seemed a little too expensive for what we got. Everybody at the table enjoyed their dish, though. Other than pricing, the restaurant had a great beach atmosphere and amazing service. Just know that their menu is seasonal, so you may not be able to get everything seen here. I recommend Costal Kitchen if you're staying at the nearby resort!“

“Terrapin Creek was worth every penny. My Wife and I went here 2 nights in a row. First night I had the pork chop ( best pork chop I’ve ever had). Wife had the Duck. ( also the best duck I’ve had at a restaurant. We had scallops as an appetizer and Ceaser salad. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Salad was probably the only thing I wouldn’t rate as a 5⭐️. The second night I had the Steak and Wife had the fish stew. ( both were delicious) We also tried the corn soup which was a corn purée with jalapeño oil. Great soup and the jalapeño oil adds a nice flavor. Service was incredible, ambience was great. You could get dressed up but you could also go there with casual attire and not feel out of place. All around a really great restaurant with amazing food. The passion fruit cheesecake is a must try. Extremely good food with service to match.“

“My wife and I went to dinner at Drake's for our wedding anniversary. It was an excellent choice! The location is incredible. The atmosphere is highly desirable and the food was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and the service was professional. Highly recommended!“

“My friend and I shared a wine tasting which consisted of three small glasses of tasting size. You get to pick the three wines that you want. Not a huge selection., but works. We decided to eat there and I got the crabcakes which were pretty tasty a spicy sauce on top, and there were bell peppers and with the crabcakes. My friend got salmon with the skin was very crispy which he likes but the inside was too rare and he had to ask them to cook it more. It came back, still a bit too rare, and we fed that to the seagulls….The couscous salad that came with it was the best thing of all. I would not run back there but if you’re hungry and in that exact area, it’s a convenient place to grab a bite to eat. They have a couple of different patios outside, and the staff was very friendly. The one remark my friend said was that if they’re going to leave the salmon that raw like they said they usually do, they should ask people how they like it cooked. He loves sushi, but it was too rare for him being that it was salmon. It was a great day to get away from the high heat of Sonoma. We went from the 90s to the 60s wearing a jacket. He had never gone by the school house from Alford Hitchcock The Birds, so we did that on the way out.“

“Very much enjoyed my time at the casino bar and Grill. The bartenders were very kind and Fantabulous at their job. The tamale pie was awesome. Love that it was a place where locals go. I felt like I was back in time when the days were Grandioso.“
