Some friends recommended this spot a while back, and I finally got the chance to check it out during happy hour. They open at 4:30pm—we arrived around 5 and it was already half full, which is pretty impressive for a Thursday afternoon.

The staffs were very friendly, and the prices were reasonable. The chicken wings and gyoza are a must with beer. It’s also pet- and kid-friendly, which makes it even more inviting.

The wall paintings really stand out—I heard it took the artist three months to complete them, and it shows. During our 3–4 hour hangout, we noticed people passing by greeting the owner, Sam, which gave the place a warm, community feel.

“I had an excellent experience tonight! The staff was amazing, especially our lovely waitress. We had a spill of some soup and she came right over and helped clean up immediately. So the manager named Tony was really polite and respectful and the other employees I think are named Miss (Tony said that was her name but I don't think it's their name and she's African American) was REALLY POSITIVE also!
