“Came in La Taqueria Limon for the first time since ownership change. Ordered Chorizo and eggs and it was great. Giant portion l, had to take some home. Well worth $13. Looking forward to coming back for some lunch or dinner options. Have to support local businesses in our small community, we all benefit.“

“Best taqueria around. Love the torta de carnitas...mmm and carne asada burrito. Always fast and friendly service. If you ask they will happily give you extra salsa, jalapeños, lemon wedges or sliced rabanos(radish). They also offer full restaurant style plates with the main dish, frijoles and sopa de arroz (refried beans and Mexican style rice)...priced right and generous servings. Thank you La Costa!! ? “We tried the shredded tacos and the grilled tacos. I preferred the shredded (withe cheese and avocado sauce) and hubs preferred the grilled (with red salsa), but both were decent. Chips and salsa came with the order. Service was good for our short interaction. This place is connected to the gas station; the only toilet option is portopotty. They had a lot of hand sanitizer out, thank goodness.“

“I’ve lived in this town since I was 4 years old so I remember what La Costa used to be. It was a tiny shack that had the best Mexican food around. Now a days they have a nice building with a fountain outside. It’s so convenient for me to get a quick bite after I’m done with Jiu jitsu at Growth Mindset Collective. I really love this place since the owner lives here in Oakley. We should all be supporting our local business owners that make Oakley a good place to live.“

“I’ve been here a few times and have always had a great time . Personally my favorite is during the colder months , they start serving tortilla soup. All other times I’ve ordered chilaquiles mild. If you’re feeling adventurous and want to try the hot version, they offer to put some of the hot sauce in a little cup so you can control the heat. The staff is very attentive and always makes sure my glass or mug is full. If you’re visiting bethel, then I’d recommend this place and the bar right next door.

Parking: Parking lot is tight , but you can always park on the street.“

“I ordered the Chilli relleno burrito. The best burrito I have had in years. I've had their street tacos at a party they catered years ago. The best Mexican food in the area. You should definitely try them out, you won't be disappointed.“

“Was in town and decided to give this place a try, luckily they had 4-tacos for $12 special on Thursdays. Called in to order to go, very simple and easy. When I got there I was greeted by this super nice lady, she got my payment and grabbed my food, offered sauces, asked for 4 and no problem, She was also very polite and attentive, I wish all customer service Staff were like her. Kudos.
The tacos were absolutely delicious, got 2 shredded chicken and 2 steak. I liked the steak more but both were on point as you can see in the last picture I devoured the plate. lol. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of were the sauces, They had a weird scent and flavor, I tried to like it but I never had any like it before and it was odd and wasn’t very pleasant. Overall good experience and will be back here again :)

“I thought I’d try this place up since I pass by it every time. Little did I know that I’ll be blown away by their Quesabirria. The Quesabirria is great and they are huge with the side of consume that makes it even better. I’m surprised and I would definitely come back again to try the other good of their menu. By the way, dinning in will have you access to chips and salsa.“

“I had gone with family to a similar restaurant, and ordered take out a few times following visit. I thought that I was being taken advantage of but I had to get my Dad what he wanted. Well he myself my picky kid and my own Mom were very happy with the flavor and portions. So I will be back in near future. If only to leave a bigger tip, it is very much deserved and I need to make sure the crew there know they are appreciated. Last but not least. Similar order only larger. “Good, expected, Taco Bell food. Complaint is service. I hate the new normal or only ordering from your app or in a restaurant kiosk. You can see workers making food, but absolutely no interaction with customers. After ordering, just stand to the side and wait for someone to place your meal up on the counter. Then you have to walk over to the counter to read the name to see if it's yours. Also... this location especially seems to forget items routinely. Suggest to always check your bag before leaving restaurant.“

I was helped right away, and the lady was super nice and helpful in picking what to order.While waiting, they have little old-school sticker machines and toys that you pay .50 - $1 for. It just brought back memories as a kid. Selection isn't the same, but it just brought me back.I ordered:1. Dad's Breakfast sandwich - the sandwich had a thick slice of ham, thick bacon, and cheese topped with an over medium egg. It was a messy perfection. It hit the spot.2. Corn beef hash and eggs - So simple but delicious. I liked that it didn't come with the fancy chopped bell peppers and onions on everything. It was definitely what I needed. Surprisingly, I finished it all. The potatoes and corn beef hash was perfectly seasoned that i didn't need to add ketchup or tapatio.3. French Toast - We didn't eat it until we got home, and it was fire. Their syrup was amazing as well. The bread was fluffy and not overly eggy.4. Pancakes - just like the French toast, it did not disappointIf I am ever in the area, I would definitely want to come back. Highly recommend.“
