“when we first walked in, the staff were friendly by welcoming us, offering us a menu, and recommending their best burgers.

we ordered the swiss mushroom and crispy chicken burgers, both combo so it came with friends and we can grab our soda of choice from the fridge. the place was spacious, clean, and had a lot of tables. once our food was ready, the staff brought it to our table!

swiss mushroom burger - THIS WAS SO GOOD! their beef patty is super juicy and flavorful. i haven’t had a burger like this before that makes you keep wanting to eat it. their beef patty is really really good. everything is so balanced, not overwhelmed by the mushroom or onions and it complimented each flavors perfectly.

crispy chicken burger - the chicken was indeed really crispy and juicy on the inside. this burger tasted like a hearty meal, not too salty or bland, on the higher end than other chicken burgers i’ve tasted.

their fries were crispy and seasoned well! i recommend getting their SPICY GARLIC SAUCE to dip. it was house made and delicious.

The food is prepared outside on the parking lot in front of the store. I love their green sauce and they’re very generous with their cilantro and onions. The ambience is nice because you have a choice of sitting outside on a nice day or if it’s cold you have the choice to sit inside the marketplace.“

“I was there in California from another state. We ordered jalapeños beef burgers, halwa puri platters, beef seekh kabobs with rice platter, masala fries, mango lassi and sweet lassi. Each and every single food item was fresh and hot, seekh kabobs were so juicy and perfect flavor, cholay were soft and with some light gravy to eat with puri. Aalo were soft yet some small size chunks in plate with light gravy, and halwa that you just don’t want to stop eating. My kids are very picky eaters but they loved each and every single thing we ordered from this restaurant. Beef burger was so yummy that my daughter kept ordering the next time we went there again. We ended up going 3 times in our 1 week trip. We tried their fried chicken the third day, oh my gosh it’s just one of the best fried chicken ever. We were so glad that we were able to find a halal restaurant with all the choices at one place for our kids and adults. Father son combo team, the food is absolutely as authentic as it comes… we dined in, 3-4 tables seating 2-3ppl each… not a place to go for a nice dinner or vibes, but who needs that when the service, food and authenticity is off the charts?!? I gave them 5 stars all around because the full experience truly was a 10 out of 10!

It’s one of those unassuming places that SHOULD go viral!

LOTs of take out orders while we were there, and a few dine ins… even so, our food was served fast, and perfectly made. So many classic Persian dishes, and their ingredients are so very well sourced, they use Australian, grass fed lamb shanks and mine fell off the bone!

The ground beef kabob was served with a fluffy saffron basmati rice, a fresh and hot pita bread, side salad, raw onions, grilled tomato, peppers and some butter for the rice (exactly as it should be!) truly, an orchestra a flavors in your mouth! We had so much leftover, big portions! Make sure to order it juicy if you get the ground beef kabob.

“We first found Big Al's Pizzeria on IG. All of their pizzas caught our eye because of the unique flavors that they serve. We know that often times when you see something on IG and go experience a place in person it may not be as expected. That was NOT the case with Big Al's Pizzeria. WOW!! You can tell that they use High Quality, Fresh Ingredients and take pride in their creations, especially with everything being homemade!! A) Yes, Rodney. A few Muslim gym buddies o' mine kept recommending Pak Halal, so of course I had to give the place a shot.

Q) What did you order?
A) Being my first time, I gave the Special Dishes display a thorough perusing.

Knowing I wanted a beef or mutton entree, after much thought & deliberation, I went all in on Pak Halal's Beef Nihari.

Q) Rodney, how was the Beef Nihari?
A) Spiced tender beef, swimming in flavorful broth. I enjoyed the Beef Nihari. I prefer a solid amount of fat to meat, and the Beef Nihari had just what I was looking for. Ample portions, with enough to fill up on. Speaking of filling up, the ginormous Garlic Naan provided a lot of garlicky carbs, made all the more better when soaking up with the Beef Nihari broth

Q) How was the service, and what are the seating arrangements?
A) Rodney, the service was good. The wait wasn't unreasonable. Being a small deli, there is a table or two inside & outside. Pak Halal is more an order ahead, grab n' go eatery. The railing outside Pak Halal acts as a standing communal table, in which I used to dine on my meal.

Q) Rodney, would you recommend Pak Halal?
A) Absolutely, Rodney! The food was great at Pak Halal, and when I'm in a hurry and not looking for a sit-down restaurant experience, I know I can head over to Pak Halal and order something to go, or enjoy a quick meal on the railing, before life's troubles beckon me, elsewhere“

When you need a Shawarma, World Famous Grill is here to deliver. The Shawarma was great and I tried the Chicken and The beef because of a confusion, at the end I won... They were both delicious and different. I'm still trying to know how the baklava was. It melt in my mouth. Next time, I will try it slower, but with the amazing taste, I doubt it will be possible.“

“This was a very pleasant visit with friends. Had very nice mocktails, very nice. very nice presentation. Presentation was great for all dishes. customer service was very very good too.

Dahi puri was a punchy, very flavorful. Goat cheese kulcha was very nice as well. Dahi puri though was the winner of the two.

Seekh kebabs were fine but nothing special. Then a tough choice between lamb rogan josh and shaniwari karahi with goat. in the end, very similar taste profiles but the winner was the karahi. also had some nice but nothing spectacular naan as well as chicken biryani which was stellar. very flavorful with tender chicken inside.

Presentation of dishes is very nice. Portions may be on the smaller side but if you want to have a bit more luxurious experience, def worth the visit.“
