“First time at Tacos Raul and I was seriously impressed! I ordered the wet burrito and it was so good, flavorful meat, perfect seasoning, and a generous portion. What made it even better? It came with a horchata included, which was super refreshing and tasty.

Service was fast and prices are cheaper than other spots I've been to, but the quality doesn't feel cheap at all. The dining area was clean and not overcrowded when I visited, making it a really chill spot to enjoy my food. Plus, there was plenty of parking outside, which is always a win.

“Finally decided to visit here after living in Downey for 10+ years was tired of all the long lines at the breakfast dinners around town and decided to stop by and give this place a chance. I’m glad I did. The food was very authentic and flavorful made me feel like I was eating a home cooked meal from someone’s grandma. Service was great ambiance was great made me feel like I was back on vacation eating breakfast at a restaurant in Mexico. Stop by you won’t be disappointed. I would recommend any of the mole dishes it’s not too spicy and on the sweeter side of moles my favorite!“

“El Taco is one of the few places that still has descent tasting food, many other fast food establishments have changed so much , the taste of the foods are not the same at all and that's a big deal because I myself will go to a specific place because of the taste or way that their food tastes or is prepared or because of an ingredient that may be used and also because of the customer service. These days a smile seems to be one of the things missing from most places, for example, the Popeye's Chicken on Florence Avenue in Bell is probably one of the worst customer service experiences we've ever had with such a young crew which should be energetic and full of smiles is the totally opposite, after the 3rd time we knew we weren't just having a bad day. The young lady that was helping at the drive through window Never once said Thank You nor did she even give eye contact, she gave us our change turned and actually slammed the little acrylic window shut, No Smile, No Eye Contact, No Thank You and rolled her eyes 👀because we asked for condiments ... Wow, I just like the wings and Church's Chickens recipe has changed.

I stopped by during my lunch hour and they have great deals. I got three tacos, rice and beans, grilled jalapeño and onions, plus a drink for under $16.
The service is fast, and while the staff is on the quieter side, once I took the initiative to strike up a conversation, they really opened up ❤️ They were sweet, attentive, and welcoming.

I've been enjoying their food for years from a their location off of 54th Street and Central where they sell Excellent Tendon Tacos. Now, they have this Brick and Mortar location.
I had the Birria Ramen and a Tendon Taco. Everything was delicious! Will be back again.“

“when we first walked in, the staff were friendly by welcoming us, offering us a menu, and recommending their best burgers.

we ordered the swiss mushroom and crispy chicken burgers, both combo so it came with friends and we can grab our soda of choice from the fridge. the place was spacious, clean, and had a lot of tables. once our food was ready, the staff brought it to our table!

swiss mushroom burger - THIS WAS SO GOOD! their beef patty is super juicy and flavorful. i haven’t had a burger like this before that makes you keep wanting to eat it. their beef patty is really really good. everything is so balanced, not overwhelmed by the mushroom or onions and it complimented each flavors perfectly.

crispy chicken burger - the chicken was indeed really crispy and juicy on the inside. this burger tasted like a hearty meal, not too salty or bland, on the higher end than other chicken burgers i’ve tasted.

their fries were crispy and seasoned well! i recommend getting their SPICY GARLIC SAUCE to dip. it was house made and delicious.

“This was my first time here. We went to celebrating my brother birthday. Everyone’s food looked good and amazing. I got a watermelon margarita it was good. For food I got the ceviche. I am very particular on my ceviche, but this one was good and I would definitely get it again. Now what on my favorite list was the churros. They only serve them with ice cream, but I really wish they sold them by themselves. They were hot and churchy with the perfect amount of sugar and cinnamon and the middle was soft. Omg!!! “The meat has some of the better flavor ive seen in a long time. Tried the tacos and tortas and they were good. The torta seems a bit off. I feel like they are using the wrong ingredients or the incorrect order because the lettuce was soggy and drove down the taste. By no means is this bad food. I think it just needs some rethinking. Dont change the meat. Do avocado instead of guac on the torta. Find a way to keep the lettuce crispy. And i think the cilantro may not belong in the torta. But other than that this is a good restaurant. I think with some small tweaks, it deserves a 5 star.“

Just as you catch from the side of your eyes it a cart wheeling private bar tender inquiring on if you would like a margarita! We ordered a $75.00 plate of filet mignon, shrimp, and scallops; I was disappointed for that price they give one shrimp a d two scallops? Steak was the bomb dot com though.“
