“Cute tearoom inside of the Huntington Rose Garden. Note that you do need to purchase entry for the Huntington Library separately. Reservations are popular and it’s recommended to try to book out 2-3 months in advance if you’re trying to get a weekend slot. It’s $65 for the traditional tea, which comes with refillable pots of tea, scones, savory and sweet items. The items change seasonally but when we went, I really liked the smoked salmon sandwich and the Hokkaido chocolate tarts. We were very full after this tea and skipped dinner since we had a 2:30 reservation slot. They don’t allow you to get seated earlier and it’s a 15 minute grace period. Indoor and outdoor tables are available. Credit cards accepted.“

I had the French Toast Combo with a large orange juice came out to $22.20. With a $7.80 tip came to $30 flat. Food was fine/delicious, place seemed clean. Lot of help in the kitchen, pretty fast service, no complaints. The atmosphere gives like veterans POW/Elk Lodge/small town/diner vibes, a handful of older(40/50+) dudes, a young teen couple and a family with toddler was here when I sat in at 10am on Wednesday morning. Parking: I was able to find a spot,but it is limited-if busy.“

“The place had delicious food. This place had many people coming in and was crowded during brunch time. I can see why so many people come here. The drinks and food are excellent but the seating was a bit of a challenge since it was quite noisy.“

“Found about this place during anime night mart where I met Lele and Sue and they were both awesome. So I visited during the Hololive Cafe and it was packed. I had to wait a while but finally just took two of the food and one dessert back. The chicken was well seasoned and even the rice was good. I would buy this everyday.“

The new owners are very courteous and took extra time to ensure we had everything we needed, even giving us a complimentary Cinnamon roll. “I went to try their coffee and scones since I've passed by them so many times and saw that they had scones on their online menu. Today, a staff member told me they don't carry scones, which was disappointing. So, I got a cinnamon twist and an iced crème brûlée. Tasty food and friendly staff, but the ambience was just average.“

“The coffee here is amazing. The barista is friendly. And the ambiance is quiet and intimate. When you walk in, it’s very open and welcoming. The barista was very knowledgeable on any of my questions and we traded recommendations on some local Portland roasters. I got a spro and cortado, while my wife got a Sierra tonic which actually made me like espresso tonics. Hands down this is the best oat cortado I’ve ever had. The milk was steamed with perfect microfoam, and it really accented the bean’s natural sweetness. I didn’t catch his name, but we were there at noon on a Saturday after thanksgiving. Anyway, stay frosty Sierra Madre, Peace.“

The brown sugar boba milk tea is rich in tea flavor with just the right amount of sweetness, and the boba is perfectly chewy and soft — absolutely delicious. “I been dying to visit this boba place years. I'm not from the SG area so it took some time but the interior place was 😮 it's was like space 🌌. And I love the design of the menu. I ordered a rose and lychee fried yogurt and it's so delicious n pretty. Each has rose petals as decorations and it's sweet and tangy. Next time I need to try their jasmine yogurt and their drinks 🤤“

“I love coming here and it's very close to my house, reminds me of my grandma baking growing up. They make great tamales as well with lots of meat, very delicious. Their sweet bread are great a big variety to choose from. They open at 5am you won't be sorry if you stopped by and bought some thing to have with your coffee in the morning.“

“I tried their peach oolong tea and loved it! They have plenty of outdoor seatings (tables, benches, and booths) and what I also liked about this cafe is that I can bring my own food. You just need to purchase their drinks. As long as you get there between 10 am and 2 pm (Tue-Sat), you can grab a drink and use their cafe area!“

“Overall, it's a really great spot for a quick breakfast and donut.

Their service is amazing. SUPER friendly folks and very nice. Lovely people I'd love to start every morning with.

Their food was good. Basic sandwiches that get you through the day and their donuts are always delicious.

It's tucked in a strip mall of a busy street. Outside can sometimes have some sketchy people, but the workers didn't seem phased. Like they're used to it.

We ordered breakfast that came out within 10 minutes. We had bottomless coffee and beautiful, massive, delicious coconut cream pie. It was made from scratch that morning. I knew I should have bought the whole pie ? I’ve been dreaming of it ever since.“

I got the honeydew boba, which I believe comes automatically with non dairy milk. Overall, great place inside of the market to get a quick drink.“

“I haven’t been here for a while and had a craving for the Chilaquiles. I knew they added a new Mole salsa so I called to order that to go. I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. They were so good I’m embarrassed to say I lick the plate clean🥴. And of course the churros were amazing as usual.“

“Sometimes between shifts I don't have much time to get my early dinner. Moderns is the perfect place to go. The Hawaiian sandwich became my favorite right away, although the chicken one was taaasty! The mocha? Perfection. Chocolaty but not too sweet. Same for their fruity aguas frescas. They happen to be the new owners and they are super sweet!“
