“I stopped by taco stop for dinner and I swear it just keeps getting better and better, with every visit, the food was beyond delicious. I would say it was cosmic!“

“The food was great!! Their ceviche is cooked with lemon, so it is tasty. Their empanadas are the size of a regular tortilla folded in half, so they are not small. Their large fish tacos are twice the size a regular taco - beware!!! Our order was to go and it was a pleasant surprise to see we weren't missing anything. Their salsas are very good too.

Parking: This is not s restaurant. It us a truck, so you need to drive around snd find parking, but it is worth it!“

“El Jato has the best soft shrimp tacos in all of east l.a. thier botana is also very good. I would recommend this place to anyine looking for good seafood.“

“I finally remembered to try this place. It didn't disappoint. Everything was made fresh to order. The veggies were crisp and tender. The shrimp were nice and plump. The Tom Yum was zesty and flaming.
It's a nice place for friends, family, or a casual date. It's not fancy. You order before you're seated.
The prices are just about the same as most Thai restaurants. Which bothered me a little since we had to stand in line to order.
But overall, it's a great place! It was yummy! It's was peaceful.“

“We had today the best tostada mixta in the city !! It was deliciously satisfying.. and then we had a barge frito...and again very well seasoned and tasty... my mom (86 years old) had a caldo de camaron.. actually finished the whole plate.... that should tell you something about the great food that is served here. The service was great also.... the waitress was very cordial and checked on us often... no suprise here...as we come here often and always have a very pleasant and very satisfying dinner.... THANK YOU 7 MARES !!!“

“We haven't seen this place in one or two years, that picture at 5056 is not correct, they are two blocks west near the southeast corner of Laverne and Whittier Blvd. We bought three fish tacos at 2.75 each and were very good. The workers are friends with my wife and we'll be coming back.“
