“Devil Kitchen and Teppan is an absolute gem of a Japanese-style restaurant. I recently just came back from Japan and tried their chicken cutlet curry with egg and it was just as good if not better than the locations I had in Japan. Customer service was superior, food was top quality and the dish came out fast with little wait time, as the dish was fresh and sizzling for eating. I highly recommend this place for your Japanese cravings.“

“Allen is the man. This place is like eating at home but like they make sushi and stuff. Food speaks for itself and is legit. Best sushi place for miles. Small intimate place easily becomes your go to spot to eat. Very friendly and just like a barbershop open to conversations that end up taking over the place with laughs. Get to know the chefs and they'll become family and take care of you like no other. If I could give more stars I would. A spider roll was the roll that made me become a sushi enthusiast, and for years I've searched to find an equal to that sublime roll. This did it, flavors and textures that were a perfect balance in every bite.

She kept our drinks filled and noticed when we needed napkins etc. very attentive and so friendly! “This place has great food don't let the bad reviews prevent you from giving it a try! I feel like the other reviews do not know how mexican sushi is done. It is very different than asian sushi, this being said all the sushis I've had from this place have been AMAZING! Their servers are nice and polite. The food is very good, specially if you have had sushi or sea food from Culiacan. In their menu it references many places from Culiacan Sinaloa, which I think was pretty clever. Also, don't miss out on their micheladas and the horchata de coco. I definitely recommend this place.“

My partner loves all the truffle oil rolls which add a twist to typical sushi rolls. We also absolutely adore the frozen ice cream. It's such a light desert, it doesn't weigh you down, but it's amazing! Their drink selection is also good, with various beers and Soju.“

I called and they asked to come back and my order was ready as soon as I arrived. Most people would not give 5 stars for missing items but the way it was handled shows exceptional service. They do not have a lot of options for Hawaiian BBQ but their sushi rolls and egg rolls are amazing.“

“The service was good. The girl that was helping me out was nice. I had ordered food for a takeout the food in my opinion was really good. I enjoyed all of it. But what I didn't like was the portion of the sauce inside the food tray as you see in the picture that's the one that I got inside the tray. Barely anything inside I had to buy extra sauce that was actually filled more than the one that was in the tray, and that is the disappointing part. Because the trays are not what you would say cheap $15 for a meal give or take with no drink only to get skimmed on the sauce. The other part I didn't like was that the girl gave me 2 receipts and it also had the option to tip in my opinion, I don't see a reason to tip when I am ordering takeout. I would understand if I was eating there, but I wasn't, that is just my opinion.“

“I will say, probably my new favorite spot! There wasn't anything that we ordered that we didn't like. The only downfall was that we didn't get some of the items we ordered. We told our waitress and she said she would get it, well this happened 4 times, each time telling her exactly what we didnt receive, showing her on my phone, pointing on the menu, and still didn't come out right. Waiting on those items took 45 minutes and by the time we went to submit a new order, it said that we had timed out on the 90 minute time limit. I will deduct 1 star on that alone. I will take it with a grain of salt and chalk it up to the fact they are still new. I will come back just because everything tasted so good and was fresh and hope that we dont run into the same service issues again. The Baja Sunrise Roll was our favorite, with the Orange Caramel Roll a close 2nd. Sautéed garlic edamame and the avocado Verde rock shrimp tempura were amazing, and the salmon collar was one of the better ones I've had!“

“I love this place. I used to come here at least once or twice a month but lately the quality has been REALLY hit or miss. I always get the same 2 rolls then try 2 or 3 others that change. Before, this was a great plan because I knew I would love at least 2 rolls and the rest would be something new and where I looked then it not wasn't a big deal to me. Since mid November sometime, I have noticed that there is a lot of variance in how things are made and not always for the better. Some days the rolls are very fresh and everything is great but some days the flavor just isn't there. And we only order one round and leave hoping that next time it will be better. Not sure what is up with that.“
