“This is one of those places I wish I had tried earlier. Everything we’ve had was fresh, high quality and delicious. I’d suggest ordering at the restaurant so you can meet the terrific people who own the restaurant and experience the care they put into making your meal.“
“Just absolutely incredible. First off when I walked in it smelled like I just walked into my grandma's house. So warm and welcoming in the best way. The tea was the best I've ever had. The lamb and rice plate was HUGE the colors were vibrant and the food was delicious. I would say a little more salt but that's just me. The pre meal soup was also very warm and simple and delicious. Not too much before a meal.“
“Abhiruchi is amazing! I've been going there for 2-3 years and I've never been disappointed. The Abhiruchi chicken curry, goat biryani, and the chili garlic naan are highlights, but everything I've tried has been excellent. The service is always kind and welcoming, and Omar in particular is the best. My girlfriend and I want Abhiruchi to cater our wedding!“
“I went to finally try this spot on a Thursday for $2 tenders. Ordered 2 cool (less than mild), 2 glow (mild), and 2 spark (medium). They all came out looking the same and once I tried it all, there wasn't much of a difference in spice level. I could've tried the next tier after Spark --- I think .The batter was great - loved the crunch and crispyness of it.I thought they would've been stingy about the $2 tenders but the size of the tenders were a good size.Staff was nice and efficient for a busy Thursday lunchtime. There's outdoor seating if you can't find a spot inside.“
“Incredible food and service. Our waiters name was Christian; he was personable, kind, and hospitable. The food was mouthwatering and had such unique flavors. HUGE portions and definitely comfort food as they state. Will definitely be returning to check out the new menu each month.“
“Insanely good restaurant with really good service and an extremely tasteful decor and music. Great atmosphere, it seems like a family owned restaurant. The food is phenamenal, I have been coming here for a decade, quality has maintained a high level.“
“I really loved the restaurant and it’s food taste. They have buffet and alakat style.I really enjoyed nonveg buffet especially dosa and fish.Biriyani and other foods could be improved. **No taste**Worth for its money and an atmosphere is simply best. You should give a try and give a thumbs up if u like my review.“
“Tried this new place out. We had the all you can eat lunch special. There were definitely some pros/cons.The pros were: excellent food (especially the butter chicken), great naan! Price was reasonable at $19 per person. Easy to park with no extra cost. Dessert was good but they only had a fruit salad NO sweet rice or NO gulab jamun (which I normally looooove to eat at other Indian restaurants). Good service, the waiter was kind. The cons: the atmosphere could have been more upbeat, it was very quiet (no music playing), they ran out of the dish we loved so we had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes before they brought more out and the rice was limited; I think we could have asked for more but we ended up just using what they gave us.“
“Food is absolutely delicious! The staff & service are really good! I imagine precovid it was a restaurant with some ambience but it's just a bare bones place now that seems to do a ton of takeout. Definitely try if you have not! The food will not disappoint!!“
“This Indian restaurant located in Culver City 90230. The couple running the restaurant are very nice. The prices and portions are on point. All dishes including the appetizers are delivered on an outside patio. No indoor tables except one table.“
“I can't say enough good things - great food, great service and its Halal! The chicken is so moist, as is the beef. The falafel isn't dry, which makes the wrap a must have. Run don't walk on this storefront. It's a little hard to find, so keep looking!“
“Every time we eat there, we are impressed by the overall quality of the food and service. Chef Arango delivers high quality food in every dish. Each item is extremely fresh and well prepared. You can also tell that the family really appreciates every single customer. I can't say enough positive things about them. I am honestly thankful to have a such a solid Indian food option right in the neighborhood.“
“We came here Easter Sunday because everything else was closed. We didn't expect much but the food was delicious and the woman at the register absolutely makes this place a gem. She was so kind and friendly, and when we decided to eat in, she basically was our waitress too. She was lovely! We'll definitely be back!“
“Casual atmosphere, but the food in this place is as good as the best food available in Northern India. It's a hidden treasure created by a talented, caring, and creative Punjabi chef.We ordered bhindi masala, chicken korma, shrimp tandoori, yellow dal, plain basmati rice, garlic naan, and plain naan. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. You don't need to (and you won't want to) add anything to any dish (spicy peppers, pickles, salt, sauce), because the chef has thought of everything, and done everything exactly right. The bhindi (okra) is simply seasoned and has an earthy, smoky flavor, accompanied by other carefully chosen vegetables that enhance and don't overpower the bhindi. The chicken korma is tender and very tasty. The perfectly succulent shrimp tandoori is accompanied by delicious broccoli also cooked in the tandoor, and the dish arrives at your table still steaming. The yellow dal is especially delicious, as are the breads.Overall, a great and unexpected eating experience. Highly recommended.Parking: You can park in the parking spots reserved for the strip mall.“
“If only this place had consistency with their dishes, they'd have 5 stars from me. I get the chicken korma (I order spicy). Sometimes it's hardly spicy at all and sometimes it's so spicy it's almost inedible. Sometimes the color of the dish is pale and tastes bland, other times it's a deep red-orange full of flavor. Sometimes the consistency is watery and other times thick. I never know if I'll be disappointed or not until I get my order. I've never dined inside, but I have picked up my order and it seems like a nice place to have dinner. Looks clean, low lighting, and the service has always been very friendly.“
“Went here for a late night dinner after a delayed flight, and absolutely loved the pizza. Since it has a build your own option, jain options are possible. We did Build our own pizza, and it was great. The dough texture, cheese, amount of toppings, sauce flavor, everything was great. The quantity was also really good. Recommend ?“
“First time here and omg… AMAZING! The gentleman is very kind and I asked for his opinion on what to eat. I ordered the Mee Tomyam because I do have a cold and suggested it would make me feel better. It’s absolutely delicious!! It is very filling and I drank the whole broth. Left nothing behind. I’m looking forward to trying more items off the menu and EASILY my new to go.“
“This place is great. I did not give it 5 Stars because it’s rated at 4.8 and this is too high. The food is about a 4.2 and is comparable to Chik-fil-A in terms of quality. So my rating is to try and bring the average where it should be.We ordered the two slider combo (#2) and slider and tender combo (#3). I tried the medium and hot. The medium was the perfect amount of spicy and was even a little sweet. The sweetness could have been the Dave sauce which is some sort of thousand island house sauce. The hot was good too, but it did have a kick. I’m not sure I would enjoy eating two items that were both hot so beware unless you’re into spicy. The tender was delicious, juicy, and well seasoned. I believe it was a chicken breast. It’s much bigger than a Chik-fil-A filet that you can order a la carte.I almost ordered the shake but it was almost $10 with Cinnamon Toast Crunch so I decided to pass. All in all, I highly recommend you try this place.“
“Hummus has different variety. I chose garlic which I think could be better as it was rather dry. Otherwise, the shrimp kabob was really delicious. Fresh and succulent! The lady serving us was really kind and helpful. More lighting could help with the ambience.“
“Wow!! Their Soup called Sotto is better than any cold medicine!Hear me out, I was feeling under the weather, I turned to Sotto Soup #204 after a friend's recommendation, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer! Packed with chicken, ginger, and turmeric, this soup is like a warm hug for your immune system. Ordering via Uber Eats was a breeze, and after just one bowl, I felt like a new person – goodbye phlegm, hello productivity! Plus, it comes with a dose of white rice.Trust me, this soup is the ultimate pick-me-up for anyone feeling a bit sniffly.I also tried their vegetarian fried rice and their noodles; yum!“
“Simpang Asia is a hidden gem located in a small shopping center with ample parking. We came in on a weeknight and were seated right away. The restaurant has a great ambiance and the staff was extremely welcoming. Since it was our first time trying Indonesian food we decided to order one of the most popular dishes, the Mie Tek Tek noodles. While the Mie Tek Tek noodles may look like other South Asian noodle dishes, the flavors made this dish really unique and unlike anything we have tried before. You're able to customize the level of spice which is great since the noodles do have some heat! Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious and enjoyable our meal was. I will definitely be back!“
“I love that placeThe food was excellent they have large choice of mealsI also got an appetizer and a dessert that were great tooThe service was amazing too, the lady who took the order was super nice and explained me everything as it was my first time thereI will def come backThey also have breakfast that looked good ??And it is halal so 6 stars for meThank you“
“Great halal spot. Tried the OG dog (good but feel it’s overpriced) and the buffalo chicken fries (these were great). The girl at the front was super friendly! The place is clean and well maintained. There is indoor and outdoor seating available.“
“I Love Bombay Tandori. It's one of our favorite restaurants. The butter chicken and chicken skewers are my favorites. Everything is very delicious and it's hard not to over order. Often we do and just take home leftovers, which are just as yummy the next day. Everyone is also very friendly.“
“Came here for a snack. The chicken was pretty standard but nothing to write home about. I was impressed with the fried shrimp though. I think in a pinch it's pretty decent fried chicken and seafood around the LAX area. I'd recommend the seafood more than chicken. But I do want to try the whole wings on Wednesday for 99c.“
“Indian food is my favorite food so I am very picky about it. I love this place! The food was so good and I am so happy now that I found this place. I got chicken Tika masala (medium spicy) with garlic and plain naan. This meal took back to the first time I ate Indian food. I would suggest ordering extra naan I always do.“
“Got off the airport shuttle and went to this Middle Eastern restaurant in Inglewood close to the airport. It only has a couple tables inside so it's for carryout mostly it seems. Al Hamra has most of the classic favorites. Lots of the good stuff like falafel, hummus, tabbouli, and more. The platters are big and are a lot of food for an okay price. A pretty small place but they have a lot on the menu, and it's better than it looks to be honest. It's not pretty from the outside but it's clean inside. There's the counter to order at, and there's just a few tables. Most people call in orders and get it to go. We were already there so we ate there. It's about $14 for the platters. These are big and come with lots of stuff. I got the Falafel Plate. This comes with hummus, rice, and salad. Good falafel. These were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Ones like these are best. Then I used the pitas to make sandwiches out of these. Convenient place after getting off the shuttle a few blocks from here. It's pretty quick and simple. There's great choices like the falafel for vegans and vegetarians.“
“First time here, we had lunch and we both had the grilled lamb chops plate. Service was very good and friendly. The food came quick and it was fresh and very delicious. Lamb is tasty. Mango Lasi is so good. We will definitely come back!. Area is clean.“
“Consistently good food. Nihari is delicious, every chicken dish i’ve had has been great, I can’t wait to try the biryani and haleem. The guys working are always very nice and helpful and it’s a fun place to be. only issue is parking but it’s not their fault.“
“An excellent meal was had here by me and the BF. It is owned by a sweet husband and wife and the wife took good care of us. I got the chicken gyro for $10.99 which was delicious and she was not cheap about the tzatziki sauce and asked if we wanted extra, when does that ever happen? Answer, never! Double and triple bonus that the meat is seasoned so well. Boyfriend got the beef and the lamb plate and it was divine. The meat melts in your mouth and it came with a massive Greek salad. It was soo good. I will get that next time too (minus the onions). $14.99. They also told me, as someone with garlic sensitivity, to avoid the hummus and the chicken kabobs. I can do that! The restaurant has about 3-4 tables inside and is very quaint. Also we got homemade chocolate chip cookies for dessert and they were very good. We will definitely come back!“
“Don't miss out on this hole in the wall tasty Pakistani and Indian Halal cuisine. Despite having three signs displayed in front of their building, it's really easy to miss because it's located on PCH, unless you happen to stop because of the nearby traffic lights. I'm always looking for mom and pop businesses to support and happened to be in the area and saw this spot. Prices are very fair and portions are generous. They even have lunch specials that are available from Tues-Thurs and other daily specials that you don't want to miss. They have plenty of indoor space and even have a gorgeous outdoor patio seating. Unfortunately, it was quite hot that day so I opted to sit indoors.|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G ||-Closest cross streets are PCH and Appian Way-Parking is available in the rear. You want to turn into the entrance as soon as you pass by the nail and hair salon. We passed by it thinking that we could just park in the next available entrance but that was not parking for that plaza.-Came on a Friday at noon and the lot was probably 70% full.|| F O O D / D R I N K S ||Mango Lassi ($4.00) - So smooth and delicious. Not too sweet!Potato Samosa ($4.00/4pcs) - So crispy and pairs super well with their green sauce! They also offer beef samosas but I wanted to try something without meat since my main dishes were heavy on meat.Chicken Tikka Masala ($13.99) - A classic Indian dish that I always order. What I liked about theirs was that it was so creamy and flavorful. We opted for a mild spice level and it was perfect. If you want to go for a spicier kick, medium would be a spice option to go with. Like many Indian restaurants, it doesn't come with rice or naan and will have to be ordered separately.Garlic Naan ($2.99) - Garlic Naan is always a must for me. Theirs was freshly made and the most fluffy naan that I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and make sure to order extra because one order is not going to be enough for two people. I made sure to order one naan for each person in my party.Special Chicken 65 ($15.99) - Decided to try something new and saw that many fellow Yelpers posted about this. It's chicken mixed with tangy and garlic sauce. The tanginess isn't too strong which was perfect for me. It pairs extremely well with rice or naan. Definitely recommend it if you're looking to try something new.Lamb Pulao (FRIDAY SPECIAL $14.99) - Our server recommended this daily special dish and since we were a fan of lamb, we decided to go for it. The portion is extremely generous. You can order one for yourself or share with at least one or two other people. Since it comes with a large portion of rice, I ended up saving some of that rice to go with my chicken tikka masala. Usually with lamb, there is a certain smell/odor that I don't like if it's not cooked properly but I was so pleasantly surprised that I could barely distinguish that odor. The meat was so tender that it came off the bone pretty easily.“
“A kind gentleman waiting for his order to be filled gave us, party of 4, heaps of the bread that was in his togo order. He had spread his heaps of flat breads on the dining tables to air out and " stay crispy " as he explained it. Further, same gentleman got us a menu and kept encouraging us to break bread with him. Eventually our party did munch on his offerings and sat down inside... same gentleman told us service is not the priority of this particular establishment but that the food was good. Turned out to be mostly true. Lol. What lacked in service offerings was made up for in tasty dishes. Plentiful amounts of flavorful morsels in my chicken kabob wrap, and the 3 other dishes ordered. Got yogurt drinks, which I guess are very similar to Kefir. Funny story, I mistakenly thought Naan Hut served Indian food. Only to find out that the 3 other people in our party were familiar with Naan as bread in middle eastern language... so they were impressed that I had suggested a Halal restaurant to suit their tastes, whereas in truth I thought Naan bread like tandoori chicken sounded good.Dietary restrictions: HalalParking: It's LA“
“Ordered the mixed combo with a side of lentil soup and baba for a couple of hangry truck driving types (co-pilot in photo) and this truly did not disappoint! I am somewhat of a middle-eastern food snob as I have been eating and making it for over 50 of my 60 years and this is so very good I would be proud to say I had made it myself. A lot of “middle-eastern” places serve food that is more “inspired by” then the actual thing, and after you add in a bored line cook the recipes become very blah. Not so here, all the items are spiced subtly but correctly, even the saffron rice which almost always tastes like rice with yellow food coloring at most places. The spicing on everything was done to perfection- subtle but prominent and easily distinguished from each other.Rare that I give a five star, especially when I order it from a delivery service but these people have hit it out of the park. Well done, Habibi!“
“Called in beforehand to see if they had good halal meat for Korean BBQ or hot pot, and needed thin brisket slices. Was very impressed by the quality and affordability of the meat I was provided with, it was the perfect size for my needs and resembled the beef cuts that you can get at non-Zabihah Asian markets like Ranch 99. 100% will come again if I'm in the Torrance area.“
“As someone who works pretty much all day, everyday, I am ALWAYS hungry. I just had been working on several musical numbers and dancing for a showcase at SMC when I realized I just HAD to eat. So I go across the street for some pizza, and there was Sunny, greeting me right as I walked in! I noticed all the pepperoni and cheese pizza was gone, naturally when your 'zaa is in high demand, so instead of leaving I chose a healthy option and got the house chopped salad. BEST. SALAD. EVER. Right when I ordered it, Sunny's amazing smile lit up, and I could tell I was in for a treat. This salad was HUGE, (I needed an extra plate to separate it, taking it in two waves) and she was generous with all the toppings without overdoing it, keeping it all balanced! And with just the right amazing of salad dressing! One more word. Sensational! Thank you SaMo! And thank you Sunny!“
“I walked by and owner, Sergio is the sweetest and funny man. He said Hi and told me that they have Philly cheese steak too. That was cute because I don't eat meat. I looked at other places to see where to eat from. Then went back over here to see what I can order. Ordered their sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, and white bread. Asked him for a cup of water. He's so funny. He asked, On the rocks? I said yeah with ice rocks lols. He said ok and handed me my water and said here's your cocktail. He made me laugh. I've ate here before many years ago. Like 8-9 years ago. Glad he's still here but I also asked him how come he's not retired yet. Hehe He said he loves it here. He'd be so bored at home. Haha I highly recommend here with great low prices that best everyone else's prices here. During the time when gas is high of $7 and may even go up to $10 with this biden government administration, food prices here are very helpful. I had a lovely chat with Sergio here and all his 2 staff are so genuinely sweet all the time from start to finish and beyond. :)He didn't just have best food, best prices, best customer service but the experience here felt great.“
“The quantity is plentiful and the taste is a matter of personal preference. It was delicious in my mouth.Good value for money and the staff are friendlyRather than going to an expensive Korean restaurantIt would be nice to grab a meal while traveling??“
“The cuisine reminds me of eating in the West End of London or on the Ginza Blvd in Tokyo! Delicious! The staff is very accommodating and shared their regular customer was Chadwick Boseman, The Black Panther. We filled our bellies to the max! This is one of the top 100 restaurants in LA Times food critic’s, Jonathan Gold, picks in his book “Counter Intelligence.” 98 more restaurants to go!“
“My Favorite chicken place. If you love flavor Dave's is the spot. Whether you want spicy or mild Dave's has the tastiest options. The menu is limited but you don't need anything but their yummy chicken coated in tasty seasonings with possibly the best sauce I have ever had. No lie. Dave's hot chicken sauce is addictive. Popeyes who?“
“Smallish, newer place. Bright with lots of windows. Medium-sized parking lot in the back. Open kitchen where you can see the schawarma on their spits. You order at the counter and they bring your meal to you. Chicken schawarma has been juicy and tasty, some of the best we've tasted. Hummus is creamy. I tried the lamb gyro. It was good, tasted like a lot of sage in it. Generous portions. We usually have enough leftover for another meal. A friend ordered a salad and it was big. She ate about a quarter of it for lunch. Her boyfriend got a wrap, and it was more like two wraps! Free water that is infused with lemon and cucumber.“
“Food is always delicious. Plates are HUGE definitely enough to share or take home.Parking: Park in the lot very easy.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly. I would come a bit early to avoid the hookah smoke.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp for easy access“
“I drive by this place all the time as I only live a few blocks away. I was craving Indian food so I decided to give this spot a try and the fact that they sell pizza drove my curiosity even further. I ordered a Chicken Tikka masala pizza which was absolutely amazing, highly recommend that! I also ordered butter chicken, chicken Tikka masala, garlic naan, rice, and samosas for me and my family to share. The butter chicken was my 2nd favorite item I ordered. So delicious and they give you a good portion of chicken in it. I even put some of the sauce on my pizza to make it taste even better. The chicken Tikka masala that I ordered in the side tasted really good too but it was light on the chicken which was disappointing. Everything was pretty good, except the samosas. They weren't bad I just felt they were a bit on the bland side, the sauce they gave me on the side helped it out. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves Indian food!“
“Delicious, all of it! Fettuccine Alfredo, Salmon with rice, BBQ ribs, Steak, salads (both caesar & blue cheese), Mediterranean platter, and the onion+bread starter which none of us had had before, all delicious! Shame we're only here for 1 night! But I think we picked the best restaurant around.“
“Small kitchen serving authentic persian food. Owner makes the food himself. It is a take away place. No dine in. The food is very authentic and generous amount. Would definitely recommend if you want to try Persian food specially if it's for a group of people. Would try again.“
“I love their meats including fresh merguez sausages, ground chicken and beef, chicken and other tasty items. They also sell a lot of diverse spices from all over, a great range in fact. Plus various fresh herbs and olive oils from the Middle East and Europe.“
“I've been coming here for over 10 years loyal customers nice people. The young man that makes the sandwiches has been there for a while and they better be paying him well!! The food is great but today I went and got 2 large sandwiches (thats it)and my total was almost $40. At this point, it's extortion, there's no way in hell they should be getting away with this but hey these foreigners come to America and think we made of money. Nothing has changed since the time I started coming here and paying 7.99-9.99 for the SAME sandwiche ?“
“Really solid NYC by-the-slice style pizza place. Slices are large and it's really convenient to grab and go. I don't think it's groundbreaking enough for 5 stars but I've probably Easter here the most out of any other pizza place in LA“
“Pretty good food, I liked the Thali with Karahi Paneer, Vegetable Soup and Vegetable Biryani. The food is flavorful no doubt about it, goes to show how good Chef Patel is and he’s been in business for quite sometime now. Portions are good enough and I also liked that you could order the same Entrees as a “side” within reasonable amount. It’s right across of Whole Foods so parking would be validated if you happen to do grocery shopping after your meal, which you might like as an idea, given the food will appreciate some good walk after.Vegetarian options: Vegetable Soup, Vegetable thali with 1 Entree comes with Samosa, Dal, Rice, Salad, Gulab JamunParking: Nearest would be the road side parking spots, free after 8pm which also means it’ll be difficult to find those spots right after 8. Better option is the whole food parking lot, specially if you happen to do some groceries after mealsWheelchair accessibility: Accessible“
“I'm a s***** for simple foods done well, and I prefer food that's full of flavor prior to adding sauce (sorry, USA and France). BUT WAIT. The girl that doesn't use ketchup on fries or bbq sauce on pulled pork says TRY THESE SAUCES! I learned that all Stix & Straws sauces are scratch-made in-house, and not in the "add seasoning packet to mayo" way. The concept here is similar to yakitori, but the protein options range from grilled fish (a must!) to chicken and waffles. All. On. Stix. The sides are homemade and tasty as well. The $19 4-Stix combo easily feeds two average lunch appetites, as it comes with rice + salad + an additional side. $19 FOR TWO PEOPLE?! Score. The downside is that it closes at 7:30pm and isn't open Sat-Sun... but all in all, if you're looking for a clean, tasty, no-frills strip mall lunch/early dinner, give it a shot“
