“I recently purchased food from here while attending a conference in the city of Los angeles. It was truly fall off the bone deliciously seasoned chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy. It was a little difficult to separate out some of the smaller Bones from the half chicken but I got through it and enjoyed that I could rend the flesh with my hands because I did not have a knife and fork (I do not mind this it made me feel cool to eat it manually). The bread was spectacular and was baked to a degree of fluffiness that I have not experienced in another bread. I got it with hummus and pickled turnips which were pretty delectable, very toothesome and vibrantly colored. The sauces I chose were the tahini and the red sauce which were both nice accents on the food. I also got a delicious mint lemonade which was the perfect amount of sweet and tart with a nice cool mint flavor.

It is so difficult nowadays to find truly authentic Middle Eastern food, oftentimes it is just a poor imitation co-opted and misappropriated by people from northern Europe who think they have a claim to the land. That's why I am so glad you have gotten food from Jerusalem Chicken where I could tell it was cooked by people truly native to the land.“

“5-star alert! My wife surprised me with this delicious Tunisian restaurant on Father’s Day! It was like an exotic trip to Mediterranean North Africa. The servers were good and the owner was super friendly and helpful! We had prawns, fish, lamb, cauliflowers, and the infamous Hand of Fatima. Everything was delicious, with unique flavors and beautifully presented. The sauces were so unique and flavorful, we had 3 orders of bread as we want to enjoy more of the flavors in every dish!“

“I’ve seen this place since 2017 but never decided to eat here once I found out it was a Greek restaurant (at that point I thought they just served chopped up grilled chicken on top of bowls of salads with olives) but boy was I wrong.
The service is as good as the food, both magnificent. I finally came here because of LATryGuy on YouTube review in one of his YouTube channel shorts and when I saw the chicken I said “OH it’s like Dino’s Greek style chicken with the seasoning and lemon juice on the bed of fries at Dino’s restaurant) I tried both types of lemon garlic chicken meals at Maisons so far the regular and spicy (which it’s actually not that spicy at all) and they were good. The gyro is good too, I’m just disappointed they have not re-upped on the LEGENDARY LAMB CHOPS for months after the review. Next I have to try the shrimp pasta like LA TRY Guy reviewed he said it was a 10/10 for everything.“

“So I’ll start this by saying that I’ve eaten a lot of gyros in my life. I like gyros. So when I saw there was a spot near me serving gyros, it really excited me and filled a craving that I had for awhile.
I got two lamb gyros with feta cheese and extra tomato/onions. I was greeted with a smile and a laugh from an extremely nice couple. They got my food to me quick and I devoured both. Honestly I could’ve just done one with how big they were.

The servers move fast - unlike some happy hours where they try not to serve you, they serve you quickly and often. It's a good idea to look at the menu in advance to get an idea of what you want. They put on an auto tip of 20% of what it would be without HH prices (which is fair) and they circle it so you're fully aware. Plan to arrive about 10-15 minutes early if you don't have reservations so you can sit at the bar. They open at 5, which is the start of HH, but you can line up earlier than that. Parking is tough as it can be in Santa Monica. It's by the beach, so if it's a nice day, you may need to walk a bit if you don't want to park at the hotel.“

“The staff here is really kind. They work very hard and are super nice. The owner needs to compensate them better and more fairly or hire more people to help them because it seems they are always busy and stretched thin but still do their very, very best.

As far as the food, it is very overpriced. You don't seem to receive your money's worth but it is still fresh and not too bad in the taste department.

The atmosphere feels tiny but is quite cozy as a result.

Overall, I would return but maybe not frequently. The people working here are the best part of the experience and they deserve better pay and more help.“

He went above and beyond, especially when one of us asked for a drink that wasn’t on the menu. His recommendations were spot on, and we loved the seafood tower. Overall, the service from the entire staff was excellent. Other servers checked in on us, cleared plates promptly, and brought the bill without delay. It seems like they mix all their own sauces, too.The only problem was a language barrier with the cashier, so they must not be used to taking orders verbally. Oh, and the salad is literally just roughly chopped iceberg lettuce with dressing on the side.There is no space to sit down and eat, so this place is take-out only basically.“
