Everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned, and we loved how comforting and hearty the food was. Definitely one of our favorite vegan spots — we’ll be back!“

“Me and my friends had a hangout here yesterday to celebrate their birthday and we ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and the plain cheese pizza and it was delicious. The crust was soft and even after I took it home there were still cheese pulls and tasted fresh out of the oven I am definitely coming back again!“

“My son and I stopped for a late Saturday lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the relaxed atmosphere—it wasn’t too busy, which made for a peaceful dining experience. There was only one server working, but he handled everything efficiently.

I ordered the seafood ramen. It was enjoyable, though I was hoping for a bit more depth of flavor—but to be fair, I’m no ramen expert.

My son had the Teriyaki chicken and really liked it. The portion was generous—two cups of white rice, steamed broccoli, and a scoop of Hawaiian-style macaroni salad on the side. I wish I could share a photo of his plate, but he’s in it and prefers to stay behind the scenes.

“I had Bert's Benedict with hash browns. The Benedict was awesome with nice thick sliced grilled ham, but the hash browns tasted like old vegetable oil. The country potatoes would have been a better choice. Lots of food, nice and hot, and very filling. I enjoyed the glass block and the mini jukebox selection machines at every booth, like when I was a kid. The service was warm and friendly, and the coffee was very good. I recommend!“

The service was good giving we were there right when they opened, menus came out, water, then ordered.

It was a bit early for me to eat as I tend to not eat until afternoon. I got the Combination Pho B1. The broth was clear foggy, done right, however not as flavorful nor fragrant as I could not taste some of the key spices, specifically star anise. I tend to like my pho a bit more rich in beef flavor, whereas this place was a little less so.“

- Delicious drinks, both caffeinated and fruit based spritzers. Unique combinations and it is hard to go wrong with whatever drink you order. Lots of vegan options.

- The glasses they come in are cute and fancy. The owner spends extra money to source oat-based to-go cups that you can actually eat! Or just compost. The cups can keep the beverage for 40 minutes before it starts to dissolve. It tastes like a sugar-free ice cream cone :-) Try it!

“I have been coming to the Elk Grove location of 5 or 6 years and it is the best. The employees are very nice, and the sandwiches are always delicious! They are the best of the best sandwiches by far! The Northshore is my favorite. The sandwiches are very fresh, have a lot of meat and produce and are well presented open face (see photo). Look at how much meat and produce there is compared to the amount of bread. The owner (I think her name is Lea) is very nice, very welcoming, and provides excellent customer service. I am always extremely satisfied when I go there. Great job, Lea!“

“We found out that original Pete's is more than just pizza.. The Italian food is delicious. The atmosphere is a little dry, happy hour was not so happy, the waiter was just there, not very warm, perhaps this was his first job or he really didn't care about the job.. but I definitely would consider coming back for more tasty food but this time will not be splitting a dinner we're going to have one each..ha“

We had to literally yell for service, the table next to us was serviced by a girl and she did took care of her table, I wouldn’t recommend spending your money here, first and last time.
