Great spot, would have given 5 stars but I ordered online pick up and when I got there realized door dash had marked up my meal by about 30%. That really took the enjoyment out of otherwise good food.To the restaurant, I would recommend you work with other online pick up options that don’t rip off your customers. Several have little to no mark up, but DoorDash marked a $22 meal up to $29 which frankly sucks.
I always forget to take photos whenever I come to the Emeryville Public Market, so this is a long overdue.While I've tried many places at the Public Market, C Casa has been my go-to.Food:- Ancho Chile Shredded Beef Quesadilla: lots of flavor in this dish from the shredded beef to the pickled onions that added a nice depth of texture and flavor. The roast chicken and the black beans here are delicious. My wife and I make special trips here just to enjoy both. I’ve had other dishes here — tacos and enchiladas — and they’re good as well but those two basics are a powerful draw. Also, I just love the Emeryville Public Market.
