“There is a manager in the store his name SIMON, he is a excellent manager, I always know that he is on duty , you can smell the chicken from Emeryville High School past KFC on over to Oaks Card Room, The aroma makes me think of changing my family menu KFC , most of the time I back track and get me the chicken special. No only that SIMON AND HIS CREW LOVES TO PROVIDE Excellent Food Service.so if you smell chicken in the air , Simon is there making sure it tastes good and delicious as it smells. Yummy ! Yummy! chicken. And the sides. are back to normal again. Especially the Coleslaw and Macaroni and cheese. Stop by you will not be disappointed. 😉“

“The rice at the bottom of the bowl. That's all I have to say. The drippings of the chicken just sink all throughout the rice and pools at the bottom. And it's the BEST part. The roasted chicken was also way better than I expected. Usually the roasted chicken skin at other places is soft but this one was perfectly crispy. The chimichurri was also really good.“

“Marcus and Leslie are Rockstars. I came in around 9pm on May 26th and I was immediately greeted by Leslie. She wore a neat uniform with her hair back. She's definitely a pro at what she does and she took my order and asked follow up questions. Later she gave me a sample of the fried cauliflower, because I was asking about it and it didnt not disappoint. Marcus, also in a neat uniform with long black hair, was very busy around the kitchen and dining room, cleaning, cooking, attending to guest. I requested him to take a picture of me with the decor and he obliged. Everything from the food, service and ambiance was perfect. It gave integrity and professionalism.“

The interior music is loud and the bass is cranked up, so eat at the outside tables to take your food to the park across the street. Not a fan of the 5% fee on top of taxes, just show us the real prices please!“

The food was really good. Chicken was extra crispy and had a lot of flavor to it. The two piece is probably the best go to item. The pieces of chicken are big and juicy. They season it very well.

The chicken sandwich is a good go to for eating on the go. I thought it was a little dry, but I still enjoyed the sandwich.

Staff were cool and friendly. They brought us extra napkins and sauces. They created convo and were cracking jokes. Cool guys.“

“I had ordered their flamin mac bowl (mild), It was more on the dry side. I think if they layer their sauce and cheese on the fries, it would've been better. I believe they smashed hot cheetos crumbs which was just a small amount and no heat at all. The chicken was moist and mac and cheese inside was decent but bowl itself could've been better.“

“We come here often, we like jolivee, but unfortunately we came here one weekend evening at about 8pm they were closed cause they ran out of chicken??!!! That was shocking. But over all the chicken is great. They also sometimes run out of white rice too!“

“This amazing little fried chicken joint is easy to get to, right across from the SkyStar wheel at Fisherman's Wharf.

There aren't any seats, and the place is often blocked by the hop on hop off tour buses.

They have a small but tasty menu. The fried chicken krunch box came out hot, packed with flavor, and juicy. The cole slaw was creamy and nicely seasoned. The double decker burger was a big burger that will definitely hit the spot.

All in all, if you're looking to grab a great meal to go, this place is absolutely worth checking out.“

“Ok, I really want to give them 5 stars, but it's gas station fried chicken y'all, 😆 so it can't get 5 stars. The chicken is unexpectedly delicious! Perfectly fried, no batter, just flour and amazing seasoning. Has a slight acidic, spicy vein running through the seasoning. Really quite satisfying at 2am when the bars close, or buy a bucket for Sunday picnic. It's a franchise, so you can find it in most cities, at least in California. But again, it's in a gas station convenience store, so it's not a dine-in, seated meal. Some of the best fast food out there! I mean, who doesn't crave fried chicken every now and then?!“

“I like the chicken here ots just as good buying in person as it is being delivered. The pieces are big, food is always hot when I get it. They could do better on the sides tho. They are too small in size and the Mac n cheese needs more seasoning aka more flavor. I just get the 8 piece chicken and I got my own sides. Overall it's really good chicken and I will continue to eat at this spot. I love chicken so this 1 is right up my alley. “Food is always hot and tasty. They follow the recipe to a t. Drive-thru stays open till 10 pm. Always a line but moves pretty quick.

“I been here many times and bought food here. Every time I been there I seen the restroom with an out of order sign but the only ones i seen go in there to use the restroom are the employees. I ask to use the restroom after I had purchased some food they said no that it's out of order... If there restroom is out of order and no customers can't use it then isn't it a violation ??“
