“I love riding my bike to this area, even during the construction. The burgers are incredibly juicy, and the cheese fries are good; as long as you eat them while they're still warm.

Their hot dogs though... Not sure. I found a small bone fragment in mine and decided to toss it, as it wasn't worth the risk of chipping a tooth.“

“I like the menu although many of the ingredients are too sweet. But I was drinking my avocado spinach fruit smoothie and felt something very stringy in my mouth. Thought it's a fibrous veggie but I knew the smoothie vegetables were only avocado & spinach and not say, celery. Spit it out and it was 2" of clear plastic wrap that had likely been wrapping a fruit. Now I'm worried that other pieces of clear plastic wrap got ground into the smoothie and this is the one that was big enough to notice.

I called to tell them right away and no one picks up the phone and it doesn't go to voicemail so here is this warning. Otherwise food is tasty.“

“Really great acai bowl spot that is along I-80 freeway. The staff was nice, and they flavor/texture of acai was so good. I ordered a small bowl traditional bowl and added mango and peanut butter. Bowl was 5/5 and the peanut butter deserves its own shoutout! Street parking is available, but we had no issue finding parking. They have some seating inside and a couple picnic tables outside. This place is in my top 3 acai bowl spots in the bay area!“

Just skip on the sugarcane juice - if you know to drink sugarcane juice, you know you’re looking for the fresh juiced canes. Unfortunately their sugarcane juice is from canned sugarcane (the time I bought it at least). I would recommend asking if it’s fresh or not :)“

“I’m touring a condo in Oakland for a client making an offer and I stop for a quick bite at a tiny sandwich place next to the Grand Lake Theater. OMG, Unbelievable sandwiches, smoked meats, homemade pickles, peppers🫑 and memorable pulled pork, etc. I hang out for a few minutes while Jerry makes my Cuban sandwich, and he has me try their smoked bacon, homemade meatballs, and more. Among smoothie bowl places that i’ve been visited in Bay Area, this place has one of the most aesthetically pleasing bowls. “I came to Jamba Juice to try out to do Pumpkin Smash bowl. It is made with granola, a little pumpkin spice, banana slices and a cream whipped topping. I already had the smoothie and felt that the bowl will be delicious. It was. It was a very nice blend that almost tastes like pumpkin pie. I enjoyed it. My daughter enjoyed hers too. Inside it was clean and service was fast.“

As its a bit labor intensive. Ive only had it at Tayho. Well this is their mamas recipe! Its a crispy coconut crepe w shrimp. They gave me fancy butter lettuce shiso and mint wraps for each one! I feel so pampered! Its now my favorite order! Noodle soup too is perfect for winter rainy days. Parking is a lot and super convenient location! Thx so much for feeding this famished lady. ?

“I enjoyed visiting Cha Thai tea! The employees are always very welcoming and helpful with their recommendations. I really enjoyed this drink (I think it was a coconut avocado special? I forgot to look at the exact name of the drink) and pandan custard toast. I also enjoyed the mango coco the previous time I came here. They have a smaller, simpler menu that's not too overwhelming but the ingredients seem very fresh and tasty! I'll definitely be back!“

“Super friendly staff and generous portions! I got the spring rolls with tofu and avocado added and my parter got the tofu and mushroom banh mi (with avocado instead of mayo, since we're both vegan.) Both very delicious. Also wanted to try the spicy seitan sandwich but didn't see it as an option until later – next time!

Dietary restrictions: For vegan options they have tofu offerings, and can sub in avocado instead of mayo. Also a spicy seitan sandwich but not sure if that's going to be a permanent menu item.“
