I prepared the french press coffee using a burr-grinder (mid-large) and 80C water (typical methods). One obvious stand out to all other coffee I have had: they were both very smooth with no bitterness at all. The decaf has flavours of sweet vanilla and chocolate and is the tastiest decaf I have ever tasted. The dark roasted San Jacinto is a peppery dark chocolate that just brings joy and purpose into my day. Amazing.“

My wife delightfully sipped from a latte, while I had a house coffee. The house coffee was uniquely flavored, a bit bitter. Steady State Roasting has reusable stirring spoons, which is eco-friendly. Finally, they offer indoor and outdoor seating, to optimize the moment. Yes, this experience was worthy of a return visit.“

It was the perfect blend of sweet and coffee where a lot of other places it’s either one or the other. I got the HOB sandwich on a croissant, and it was AMAZING! The sandwich was so warm, so tasty, and the perfect amount of food. It even came out on a beautiful wooden tray! The atmosphere is 10/10 and I would definitely come again. “Yesterday was my first visit to Vigilante's Oceanside location. I've been to the College Park location in Maryland before, but this was my first time visiting on the West Coast. The cafe is beautiful. There was so much natural light, beautiful decor, and it was nice to be greeted with smiles when I walked in (you all have the coolest merch as well). For the first time ever, I ordered an iced, dirty chai, and it was SPECTACULAR! Ivan made it for me, and I could tell that it was made with love. Also, the manager, I believe their name is AP, was such a delight. You can tell that the team enjoys one another, and it is evident in the service that they provide to their customers. I'll definitely be back, and I'm also looking forward to the Vista location opening soon. All the best!“

“I recently visited Bird Rock Torrey Pines and was absolutely blown away by the experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The cozy seating, incredible views and charming decor created the perfect setting for a relaxing break from the day.

The coffee itself was exceptional—rich, aromatic, and perfectly brewed. I tried their cappuccino and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The balance of flavors was spot on, and the latte art was a delightful touch. They clearly take great pride in their craft.

“Great coffee (get the NOLA!) and personable, happy service. Can get busy due to popularity of the shopping center. Not a coffee shop for grab-and-go due to the parking limitations, but great for hanging out with the family. Koi pond keeps the kids entertained.
