I was searching my app for an affordable mediterranean spot and this place came out so I gave it a try. I thought their food was good because it had a good rating online and their food looked good in the pictures but I was wrong because their food wasn't good, it was actually super great! The cashier, manager, and server were super nice and attentive and it costed me about almost only $30 for two skewers, salad, and hummus.“

“We came across this restaurant by surprise and love this Chutney restaurant. Not many places have Haleem and Nihari, but this one does! Everything we had was delicious. We ordered quite a few dishes, especially the whole tandoori chicken. The naan was hot, fluffy, and full of the aroma of garlic. The owner was friendly, courteous, and very humble and the price was very affordable.

Parking: There are plenty of meter parking around the Resturant.“

“The staff are pretty cool and friendly. I tried the honey butter chicken sandwich. It was really good! I loved the honey butter dripping on my hands, and the chicken was juicy and flavorful. My son loved his chicken strips and fries as well, except the medium turned out to be a little too spicy for him. We don't live in the area, but it was a nice spot for us to stop by for a quick lunch.“

“I’m a lifer here! lol no, seriously. I’ve been coming since they first opened up! And the Lamp Shank, Chops & Tack are superb! Top tier food, customer service and just kind salt to earth family! They will kindly fix anything you want even if it isn’t anything wrong! Ex: extra pita bread, sauce etc you got it. Free of charge. You can’t find customers service like this anymore. Food is fresh and tasty. I moved 20+ miles out the area and I still come here bcuz no one makes it like they do! 😋 You just have to try it. #scrumptious

“Best Indian Food I've had in Los Angeles at any price point, not one question about it. We thought we'd "give it a try" after our other dinner plans fell through and it's the greatest find we've made in years. A truly unforgettable experience, the food feels like a more authentic take on the americanized Indian cuisine you'll find at most other spots. The amount of flavor packed into each bite is impressive to say the least. The service is top notch, I assume it's a family business as it's rare to see this level of passion and care elsewhere. “A small but mighty hidden gem in the valley that serves halal food. The the owner is very friendly and makes you feel at home.
The food is delicious. Places nice and clean. It doesn't look much from the outside but once you start dining the pallet is in for a treat.

Parking is free within the parking lot however the spots are limited.

It's an excellent option for Halal food in the valley.

“This is the second time I have ordered from this restaurant, and the Vizayawada biryani is absolutely delicious. You won't find another place in Los Angeles that serves biryani with such an authentic and flavorful taste. My suggestion would be to make the biryani spicier and add a bit more sauce for an even richer flavor.“

“Hidden gem of West LA! Discovered this place recently and I get the shrimp ceviche here 2-3 times a week… and often order something else. It’s reasonably priced, super fast, the staff is chill… it’s authentic as it gets. The delicious ceviche reminds me of being in Mazatlan.“

“To start I am not a big chicken sandwich eater my go to is burgers, but trying to broaden my gut 😎. Got the two sliders with fries. The fries were excellent. Everyone loves crinkle cut fries. The sliders were not too spicy as I asked, and they supplied Plenty of pickles the chicken was a little dry, but I also ordered five minutes before they closed at night. I would expect that they offer the option to get extra sauce, but I did not see that as an option. That is way too bad. They should add it into the app Overall was pretty darn good and I will get it again and try a little more spice And maybe by then, they will have the extra sauce as an option on the app that would be awesome“

“Well priced, authentic Thai food! Lams looks like a small hole in the wall, but the food is extraordinarily delicious. I ordered 9 meals for a group of friends and on pick up it was ready on time, packaged beautifully and still very warm. Every meal was perfectly cooked and so tasty. Just an incredible, friendly, quality Thai restaurant. I've been ordering from Lams since before Covid and it never seizes to impress. Do yourself a favor.“

“I would go to Jawadi Halal Meat Market everyday.
What a GEM of a store with fresh meat and different groceries.
Mr Jawadi and his staff Francesco are absolutely the kindest and extremely helpful.
I needed tendons to make a certain dish and no one really carries it...they special ordered it for me at no extra charge.
I asked for meat for my animals and Brother Jawadi gave me two big bags without any charge ????❤️❤️
This is our new place of business that we will be frequenting for all our meat and grocery needs.
They carry halal soft candies that my husband loves.
I would give them a hundred ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stars

“Technically a small grocery store with kitchen. Their meat samosas are to-die for. They have goat, beef, chicken, or potato. They also have what we would call baked empanadas and stuffed puff pastry as well, but our family craves the samosas. Kitchen is on-site and also offers typical Northern-India / Pakistani fare that is mostly ordered "to go" and by the "from there" people, so it must be authentic and region-specific. Chutney for sure is - very different from Anarbagh and very spicy hot-and-sour for the average American taste, so be warned. Everything except samosas/empanadas/pastry is cooked to order - no hot lamps there.“

“This place is really REALLY good. To give you folks context, it’s a small restaurant off the food court in a Mall. So, you kind of go in thinking you’re going to get “mall food”.

But, no. Not at Kabab Lab (silly name, AMAZING food). Their combo plates come with a lot of rice, salad (with a great dressing), pita, humas, and excellent chicken and beef. Well cooked, juicy, well seasoned… it’s one of those places that “you have a taste for…” once you’ve tried it.

I cannot recommend it highly enough, but i can tell you that I keep coming back. I’d rather endure The Mall and have an excellent, delicious, well prepared meal instead of hitting some of my local places that aren’t nearly as good.

The restaurant is always very clean and well lit. It can get crowded but it’s the Mall so there is a lot of fast turn over. Plus there are another 100 tables in the common area if you aren’t in the restaurant itself.

The staff is always friendly and the cooks clearly know what they are doing.

Do yourself a favor and give it a try.“

“Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here! “This spot is cute and has nice Afghan food. I’m docking a point though because it wasn’t the cleanest when I first arrived there, and there was only the owner who worked there with no helping hand or support which did delay my plans a little bit. She wasn’t there initially either when I arrived, so I was going to leave after waiting a few mins despite ringing the bell and calling. She makes good food, but she also charged extra for miscellaneous things and did not share or disclose prices of other dishes that I ordered or additional naans that were “offered” - there were pictures of dishes on the wall and a general cost of $19.99 which appeared to be for all dishes, but unfortunately that is not the case. The door alarm constantly went off too because I sat near the door and little movements would trigger it.“
