“Had low expectations given the strip-mall locale out in the cutty-bang that feels more gun-rack 鬼佬 than ganbei-ganbei-yo-wassup, so we were very pleasantly surprised by how well prepared and tasty everything was! Prices are decent and portions generous with friendly, fast, and unintrusive service at front of house. Better than Panda, but don’t get it twisted…“

The best Chinese food to be found in Riverbank. We drive from Oakdale! I like how each dish has a unique sauce too. Everything has its own flavor profile. They have good curried vegetables too! We always bring guests here and they always say the food is better than it has any right to be for us living in such a small town. “I enjoyed some delicious garlic chicken and pork Chow Mein. Both were really good. The owners are from Hong Kong, and I enjoyed visiting with the owners and reminiscing about the time I spent in Hong Kong doing missionary work. The seating area is small but cosy.“

“I ordered the orange chicken, pork chow mein, and pork fried rice with a eggroll. It was very delicious, the orange chicken was cooked perfectly, it had a very nice crust, not too oily and the chicken inside was moist and delicious. The pork chow mein noodles were cooked very good, done just the way it should be. Seasoned very good, and not mushy at all. The rice was normal, yet still delicious. The eggroll was normal. Over all it was a very decent meal and I enjoyed it. It smelled clean and looked clean, I will definitely be coming back and I encourage you to give this spot a try. You want be disappointed!“

“Taco truck review: I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful their meat is! I ordered an asada taco and a chorizo taco. I saw on their menu they have hand made flour tortillas and they offer Flor de calabaza options (my favorite)! I can't wait to go back and try more things!“

“It has been a few months since ive been here but this place is great! When I tell you, the egg rolls are a MUST HAVE, that is not an overstatement. They are cheap yet huuugeee and soo tasteful!! the miso soup, I am not too much of a fan specifically just my taste it was very mushroomy and I don't like mushrooms. I did have the teriyaki plate and that was great. I wouldn't say it is authentic chinese food but it is pretty dang bomb for a fast food spot. I would definitely come back“

“Hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in a really long time. Everything was cooked fresh. The chicken chow mein almost taste like garlic noodles, it was sooooo good! And all of the chicken, and shrimp was fresh and crispy, even with the sauce added on. It wasn’t soggy like most places are, even after going back for seconds hours later. The honey walnut shrimp was my absolute favorite. We will definitely be going back and trying the rest of the menu through out time!“

“i’ve been going here since i was 10. it has always been something i look forward too after church with my family. the service is amazing, and the workers are really friendly. food is very good, and is one of the better chinese restaurants in modesto. i really recommend the imperial chow mein, seafood tofu claypot, and beef chowfun. definitely a place to give a try whenever you’re on that side of modesto.“

Staff’s so friendly, you don’t want to leave. **Add your noodles last, and smash your ingredients down as you go to fill it up as much as possible because cooked food shrinks, and you’ll want more than an appetizer portion. “this is my favorite Chinese food place in town. I haven't been able to have it in awhile ( medical / dietary reasons ) and on Christmas my family ordered it. I only had an itty bitty amount, and today my husband brought me in for lunch. I'm a few weeks post op and got to talking with Sandy, and she made all sorts of suggestions to help me better pick and choose menu items I can safely eat. she was so kind and exchanged numbers with me so she can help whenever. I really appreciate businesses and workers like this. My favorite dish is the Broccoli 🥦 Beef with carrots, and the pork fried rice. 🩷“

“I was hungry and ordered three things (dinner for 2, salmon nigiri, dragon roll). Waitress said I may not want to order so much because the portions were large. I thought it would be like other asian.places - small portions, so I kept my order the same. Yikes! She was right. Soooo much food! Everything was hot, fresh and exceptionally tastey. Steamed rice was served in a thermal serving container to keep it hot. I couldn't finish - had to take most of the food home. Great place! I highly recommend!“

“Went for lunch here today with my boyfriend. We went for the Chinese side of the cuisine and ended up both getting japanese food. He got tonkotsu and chicken teriyaki lunch plate and I got yaki udon. I really love udon so it was nice seeing it on the menu, the udon was super good and I felt the portion sizes for me was perfect. My boyfriend did feel like he could have had a little bigger portion sizes, but also cant complain because the price was not bad at all for what we got. “we eat there often since we found the buffet a year ago. The girls in there are very on spot. They refill your drinks and wagon when you leave, they vacuum the tables, wipe the tables and the chairs off. It is so clean. The food is delicious.“
