“We decided to try Bellamy’s for the first time and happened to mention to the hostess while making our reservation that we were celebrating our 64th wedding anniversary. When we arrived, We were warmly welcomed first by the bartender who seated us and then by the hostess who enthusiastically congratulated us and offered something special. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and perfectly timed our meal selections. The food was outstanding. First we had the watermelon salad which was wonderful. Then the calamari and shrimp appetizers - yum! My husband enjoyed the cioppino and I had the seabass - all perfectly prepared and delicious. We topped it off with a creme brulee and the butter cake! Needless to say we enjoyed every bite. This was a perfect choice for our anniversary and we intend to return for another culinary experience at Bellamy’s.“

“We have been coming by the past for weekends for breakfast. The food is consistent and good. We have only ever had to wait once and that's because the wifi was down so back of house was behind? Beyond that the self serve coffee is always great, some items can be kind of pricey but there's plenty of options to choose from to meet your dietary or preferred tastes.“

“Skip the chain and give this hometown mom and pop cafe a try!! The flavors and portions were great! The homestyle potatoes were fresh and the pancakes fluffy!

Only critique would be ti clean the booth windows bc they were very dirty and smudged with finger prints.

But overall a great family diner with fresh food and polite service.“

“Let me start by saying this place is top 5 favorite. We've done many dinners and a few lunches here. That being said, they need to work out their brunch offering some more. 3/4 dishes were fantastic. One was sad. The server was unfortunately not familiar with the brunch menu and was less than helpful with guidance. He also forgot add-ons. Again, we've never had any issued with dinner service and that's why we chose to do Easter brunch here. But still plenty of kinks to be worked out for this offering. Nevertheless, we'll be back for another dinner in the future.“

“One of our special date night places when in the San Diego area. Outdoor seating is great and food is wonderful. Rancho Santa Fe in the evening is quiet and you can just have a nice conversation over dinner.“

“Our first time at the Pony Room, for my birthday. I googled it and saw all the great reviews,. so we decided to check it out with friends. So glad we did! What a hidden gem for these foodies. Great variety on the menu for everyone and large portions that are very shareable. I had the Hamachi Crudo, two of my dining partners had the burger, which was amazing but splittable, another diner had the lamb popsicles, he said they were wonderful, but needed a little more spice. We all shared the pear salad, I loved the lavender dresssing. We also had the focaccia, so good! Our Italian friend said it was good but should just be called bread as it's not traditional focaccia. I loved it, but I tend to agree as my family also owns a traditional Italian restaurant. We shared teo bottles of wine, which are a very good value according to my ex-Somm husband. We will absolutely be back, and bring our friends. Stewart, our server was exceptional and made the experience even more awesome. I gave ambience four stars because although the entire place was absolutely beautiful, the bar, the entry courtyard and the outdoor patio we could see from our table, our actual table was in a corner of the plastic lined patio, which took away from the total ambience for me and felt a bit claustrophobic . I'm sure as soon as it warms up they will take the plastic away, but for me, next time I would request to sit inside the bar area or somewhere more open. Overall a wonderful find, you'll see us again soon!“

“What a great restaurant at the Bernardo Winery. It's the perfect place to meet up with friends for lunch before walking around the cute winery and do some shopping in the boutiques on site.

There are lots of outdoor tables to choose from and most are shaded. It opens at 11am and it was busy soon after. We went on a weekday too.
You can get wines from the tasting room or delicious coffee from Manzanita next door.

You order from the counter and your food will be delivered to your table. Everything we had was delicious though the pizza was a little on the burnt side from the wood fired oven.

Parking: There are two small parking lots and plenty of street parking.“

“Compadres Chicken is an absolute gem! My coworker and I go there on our lunch break all the time, and we’re totally hooked on their chicken quesadillas. Hands down, the best chicken I’ve ever had—the flavor is incredible, and it’s always so juicy and tender.

The salsas pack a punch, too! Even the mild salsa brings some serious heat (my nose is always running!), but honestly, it’s so worth it. The spice just adds to the whole experience.

If you’re looking for amazing food with unbeatable flavor, do yourself a favor and check out Compadres Chicken. You won’t be disappointed!“

“It was a rainy cool day. They had all the doors open to the restaurant. It was chilly! I wasn't ready for a chilled out restaurant. Otherwise, the food was the norm at Karl Strauss restaurants. Not out of this world or bad. I only drank water so know idea on the booze. Waiter did well.“
