Andy’s reds are superb! A must taste!

This past Sunday (May 30) we headed out to find some local wineries. We stop in by chance and completely enjoyed our time and wine.
We are from Tucson, 40 minutes from 25 top wineries, so we have lots of experience with good wines.
zXq stacks up nicely against any of our local wineries.
We will definitely be back!

ZXQ Vineyards and Winery is a family-owned boutique winery offering a relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff, soulful live jazz music, and picturesque surroundings. The winery has a very large selection of estate-produced wines, with Cabernet Franc being a specialty. Visitors can try multiple vintages of Cab Franc as well as a number of (mostly-Bordeaux) blends. The environment is relaxed and unpretentious, and the wine is seriously good. The winery also has beautiful views of the vineyards and offers a wheel to spin if visitors can't decide on a wine.
The winery is known for elevating winemaking in San Diego county, with a knowledgeable staff who can answer any questions on their wines and wine in general. Visitors can also enjoy feeding and petting the resident goats. The winery offers a membership program with off-set pick-up dates, and the Rose Franc is a unique and popular offering.
