“So, I usually go to my regular mexican place but since they did not answer the phone (not uncommon), I thought I'd try this place out - since it's much much closer ... And I'm so glad I did!! I've tried Nixtacos and hated the food which was bland and super overpriced. My regular mexican place the cilantro is always like frozen and the result is nasty cilantro. One thing that stood out for me about Nikos Tacos is that the onions had a nice crunch and the cilantro was super fresh - the cane asada (to my surprise) was perfectly cooked - not hard and dry, but easy to chew with great flavor! The added cheese and crema at the top which looked excessive when I saw in the pictures actually brought it all together and gave it that salt. Excellent ? tacos and I look forward to trying out other things on their menu! Thank you!“

“Decided to come in for late lunch with my girlfriend. Instantly LOVED the women owned sign. It was so cute and clean on the inside. A bit busy outside when we got there but seating was available inside. The only other occupied table was leaving as we ordered and it was bussed quickly.

We had read the menu on the drive over and I’m so glad we did because everything sounded so good and we needed that time to decide what we wanted ?

We settled on 7 tacos between the two of us and chips and salsa. The portions were generous and we loved that the ingredients were fresh and loaded up (falling off the taco; a great sign for solid filling / tortilla ratio). Got full and ended up taking food home. Highlights were the chicharrones, fried shrimp, quesabirria and fish. We’d absolutely come back for more! The only problem is.. we liked it all and would order it again! ..but still haven’t gotten to the rest of the menu?

There was a disrespectful customer there, the owner handled it beautifully and professionally despite the customer’s attitude. Their response wasn’t distracting or disruptive at all; my girlfriend and I were just ready to assist in deescalation if need be. The owner continued to serve that table with the same level of service that was offered to all other customers. They even comped a churro donut to all of the other tables in the vicinity! So unnecessary, but extremely delicious! We’ll probably have to order that again too ❤️ we’ll be back for sure!“

“Still open just moved to a new spot like a block away so highly recommend to check them on Instagram for updates. Parking space is limited (like 3) so it may be better to park on the side streets and walk to the taco stand. Their Al Pastor is well worth the wait, the horchata, toppings, and sauces are also fantastic. I usually come around 6:30pm since the vendor tends to set up a bit later than usual. Cash only!“

“This restaurant always delivers! I think I’ve had everything on the menu (ask for the nachos!). The food is gorgeous to look at and delicious to eat. The Char plates are a generous amount of food—-but you won’t have leftovers—it’s too good to stop eating. A great local place in Carmichael/Arden-Arcade!“

“This was my first time trying this place and I absolutely loved it! I came at 2pm so we had the whole place to ourselves. The birria tacos were on point! Nice flavors and the tortilla was nice and crispy! I also tried the half and half chips with half regular corn chips and half flour, those were amazing as well, looking forward to going back soon!“

“We ordered to sample almost all tacos!… I mean we are at a taco bar for gods sake lol… I was surprised that not many people ordered all the tacos all at once! And I was really sad not to see a “sampler” in the menu. The tacos, once ordered together, they do standout! … we suggested to the staff that they do a “sampler” option of 12 tacos or more (and maybe then include the chips and salsa which are not free, but they’re good chips and salsa!) … trying out our version of the sampler was great and I recommend it so that you pick for yourself which ones are your favs!!! I loved the pork belly and the short rib! … Oh and we shared each taco between two of us… so go with someone you don’t mind passing along and sharing the taco with… might not be a good idea for a first date LOL. “The food was amazing. I ordered some tacos de pastor and holy sh*t they were amazing. Their meets are cooked perfectly and they DO NOT charge for toppings. The people are extremely kind and you can tell the cooks know what they are doing. They keep their stations clean!!! That’s hard to find in street food vendors!! “Great food. We ate at their permanent location in Richmond Grove area of Sacramento. Neat and tidy dining area. Food came out quick. Guacamole freshly made. Tortilla chips warm and crisp. Modelo beer w/lime icy cold. Street tacos (chicken, carnitas) were hot and delicious. Will definitely be back!“

“Just wow the food is so good. As seen in the photo it looks just as good as it tastes. I ordered tacos de barbocoa. I have had other items like the burrito here. But today I tried this and won't order anything else again. If you haven't give these a try and you won't regret it. The food is mid priced where just about everything is around 13 plus so it's not cheap eating. The have good music playing and music video going while eating. Good atmosphere“

“Randomly stopped here while out on some errands and wanted some lunch. Got 4 Pastor tacos for $11. The meat was perfectly tender and marinated, the tortillas are good and the salsas are great too. Although there are some things I could see people not liking about this place and that is the salsa not being self serve. It doesn’t come in a container, it’s served on the taco. For me it’s the perfect amount of salsa but for people who like to choose how much salsa they get it could be off putting. The little trailer is only ran by the sole owner so have patience when ordering. Will be coming back soon. 4.8/5.

“Just had some on the way home and OMG soooo good. Lemme start off by saying how nice they were and totally willing to just give me recommendations. When I tell u I’m coming here for my taco cravings, I mean it. All the meat in my tacos was perfect! Juicy and love the combination of pineapple and steak! “I always get get the Carne Asada Torta and it is always made to perfection. Definitely my favorite place in town to get a Torta. Their bread is always fresh and the ingredients are always full of flavor. Plus they ladies that work here are very friendly and they gave me a free Horchata! A+++ experience everytime!“

“One of the hidden gems of in Citrus Heights probably the best tacos in East Sacramento. The tacos have a nice flavor and are very are very fresh. The tacos costed 1.75 the last time went. They also came with grilled onions and a grilled jalapeno on the side. The sauce is also red which is medium hot. There also a liquor to buy the the drinks & snacks you desire.“

“Cool spot. Birria seems real tasty but the carne asada was pretty mid. I got the carne asada fries and it was lacking from toppings and the meat was way too chopped. It felt like the meat you would get from a Philly cheese steak. Salsa bar was good tho!

“So NO, you really can't sit down inside here like at a regular restaurant..., (though there actually IS limited outdoor Patio seating, it's "INSIDE" of another business, but sitting down is not what they do. What they DO, they do like no other! And they do it VERY WELL. And no matter HOW many times I've told myself that I'll wait til I get home to eat .., I've YET to win that battle with myself. The moment I "sit" down in my car, I tell myself I've met the "sitting" threshold or requirement or whatever, but the aroma of the food, fresh, hot, seasoned to Unique Perfection Home? This Torta, hasn't a snowballs chance in a California fire of making it "home". No no no no NO, even the torta itself doesn't expect to be around that long. Kinda sad, the torta KNOWING it only has moments to exist, but "that", is nothing compared to the Taco's. I've seen people on multiple occasions, opening them up in line, or walking out the door. And you're gonna hate it, but tha Burrito s? Might as well do like everybody else and get started when it's handed to you. It's the EXACT SAME Experience of being "Transported" is like the best way to describe it. But you're mind wonders and you try to "envision" whose mom or Tia or Uncle came up with it. You can taste? The countryside, the culture the air through the preparation and combination of spices and ingredients. And it's waaaayyyyy more than just cilantro!!! Just a matter of time before they run the gas station part outta business. Lines are starting to form..., more and more. Probably shouldn't post this..., I ain't never been greedy or selfish, and they ABSOLUTELY HAVE EARNED IT! But you know the guy feeling that you're something shooting yourself in the foot? “It's a hole in the wall, but aren't those always the best places to get amazing tacos?I was referred to this restaurant specifically for the fish tacos and they didn't disappoint. The adobado (similar to an al pastor) was also phenomenal.One other important point to make is that in these times of excessive food prices (really everything prices), you can come here for a reasonably priced, extremely yummy meal. “Was ok but not as spectacular as the reviews suggest. Their location is practically on the military base. No pastor only adobada which I know some feel are the same but I do not. My tacos didn't come with any salsa either on them or on the side. The adobada tacos had habaneros grilled in with them and pretty spicy even for someone that likes spicey. Asada tacos were better. Wondering if there was a communication error but I speak enough spanish they could of asked me if there was confusion. I'll have to try again and try to make sure the order is correct.“

“Sac TACOS came through on short notice and showed up on time with everything they promised. Very responsive and I felt like they went above and beyond to help me out when I was in a bind. I won't hesitate to call them in the future for a party or event.“

“Went there for the first time this weekend. Server was very knowledgeable about the ingredients. As someone who has a gluten and dairy intolerance, that was very comforting. I do wish they had top allergens marked on the menu but that's just me. The food was also very good!“
