“Great bistro by the water! We arrived shortly after opening on Saturday and were seated immediately. We chose the covered outdoor seating. It can get chilly so bring your jacket. There's also plenty of indoor seating.

The burger was delicious and the shoestring fries were great with the aioli. The pain perdu was so soft and yummy; fantastic french toast with berry compote. The croque madame was great as well with a nice side salad. I love bread and all the bread from these dishes were stuff my face good.

There's a dedicated valet parking lot for $5. The surrounding parking spots are all permit parking until you get to the bridgeway.

“Our server was wonderful and gave us helpful information regarding cocktails and food menu. The French onion soup was excellent and the tuna tartare is a generous portion so you can easily share. The steak frites dish is perfectly seasoned and paired with a lemony arugula salad. The steak was perfectly cooked and so flavorful that the Bearnaise sauce was not needed but used rather to dip my French fries in.“

“Have dined at Le Chalet Basque for more than 20 years. Our recent meal with lamb chops, fresh vegetables, mashed potatoes and split pea soup served with crumbled blue cheese salad couldn't have been better. Fresh ingredients, great wine and excellent service will keep us returning again and again.“
