El Pollo Loco offers a mix of experiences for its customers. While some have noticed smaller food portions and higher prices, others have enjoyed their meals, such as the double chicken tortilla salad with fresh grilled chicken and creamy Cilantro sauce. The restaurant is known for its quick service and friendly staff, providing a pleasant dining experience. Some standout staff members have received praise for their excellent care. Customers appreciate the grilled flavorful chicken, beans, rice, and choices of freshly made salsas and guacamole. Additionally, the drive-thru service is convenient for quick food stops. However, some customers have pointed out issues like undrained pinto beans in salads and the need for improvements in cleanliness and consistency. Despite these concerns, many enjoy the quality of the food and plan to return, expressing a desire for more locations to open in areas like Oregon and Washington.
