“Food is delicious. I would score it a 5..if the place wasnt run down. But the place is clean . My family and I have been going here since 2000. I'm half Chinese and their food quality is spot on! The service portions are enough for family sharing. Their price has gone up just like other restaurants because of the economy but I'm glad the flavor remains great! They cook fast and fed our family of 11! This is my go-to when I also want to pick up food after a long day at work! I'm never disappointed! Egg foo Yung, eggplant shechaun, Hong Kong style noodles, pork spareribs, fish with black bean sauce, onion pancake, honey walnut prawns are my favorites!“

“It's hard to get too excited about Mexican food because there are a lot of good places in California. BUT this place is different! The spices that they are use are something special. I have only been there twice since I just found out about it, but man it has me thinking about it when I am not there! Do yourself a favor, and just TRY IT. “We drove up to this spot to get some childhood LJS nostalgia. Hit juuust right. When you walk in there's no sudden gust of straight hot musty oil slapping you in the face, iykyk. Seats could be upgraded, but it felt like the og vibe, so we weren't even mad about it. We had a few bites before we left, and they were so kind to ask if we needed plates to sit and eat. The employees are hella chill. I thought it was Christmas the way they made sure to check everything twice. All of the food we received was cooked perfectly, and I'd definitely make the trip back up. 10/10.“

“I ordered a piece of fish they use cod. The fish was very fresh. Big pieces of fish. Perfect amount of breading to fish ratio. Flaky and crispy 👌 also got the hush puppies which were ok. But fish is definitely great and im comming back for sure. Also 15 dollars for huge piece of fish, fries and 8 hush-puppies is a pretty good deal in my book. The owner/lady at front is very nice as well.“

“Yes, the food was great. But what motivated me to write a review is the service. One expects high school to early college, non-personable help. Not here, at least not at this time. Sienna greeted us pleasantly, but her service and genuine kindness was so welcoming to my wife and me. Nashville Kitchen is lucky to have her.“

“Good food for a great price. Just don't ever call less than 30 minutes before they close or they will put you on hold and never come back to the phone. it's happened to me 3x now. I called 20 minutes before they closed to order some spamasubi and was put on hold and order was never placed. Guess I will be going back to the other Hawaiin resturant.“

“Absolutely the BEST chinese food in Northern California! I only wish I lived closer. Yes, we drive past dozens of Asian restaurants and deal with traffic that can take anywhere from 1-3 hours each way to eat at Wah Shine. I discovered them in 1988 when they were in Citrus Heights and I lived down the street. That location closed in the early 2000s. I was devastated! The food and the staff were all so outstanding. I went on a journey to find Chinese as good as Wah Shine but never did. Then I found out they were in Vacaville. I had my doubts if the food or service would be the same. To my delight, they are!
The ONLY change I would make is to update the decor. Thats it! DONT CHANGE A THING WITH THE FOOD! Oh, and I'd add DELIVERY TO ROSEVILLE (I'd happily pay for that service!)

I can say that we have NEVER, and I mean NEVER, since 1988 had anything that wasn't so delicious your eyes roll back in your head!

And I recommend that you get hot tea with your meal...it really adds a little extra something!

I'm glad that Poke Ichii is still up because I personally think their food quality is much better than Okashi (which is on the other side of Nut Tree). Unlike Okashi's regular / half bowls, Ichii give you more protein for their regular, and more food portions in general. I was also able to taste the individual flavors, and the octopus was prepared well. In Okashi, their octopus tends to just feel and taste like rubber, while Ichii's was more firm and actually tasted like cold octopus. My only issue is that their spicy tuna and mayo weren't spicy at all, but that didn't detract from the overall quality of the food.

Sorry Okashi, but I think I'll be going to Ichii from now on!

P.S. It's a bit pricey, but that's what you'd expect from Poke Bowl places.“

“I’m not a picky eater so it is definitely my opinion when I say I love the food here. I’ve never had an issue with my orders and the food turns out amazing every time. I’ve even gotten a free meal all because it was closing time when I was picking up my order. Associates are amazing and have great customer service. Would definitely recommend!“
