“I come here almost every time I visit family, it has been one of the family's favorites and mine! Their hummus is so delicious and a must have for every time we eat there.

This time, my sister ordered the special, lamb shank and it was such a huge portion that fed us 2nd meal next day! It was so delicious, meat fall off bone tender, not too gamey (usually I can't eat lamb because of the gamey taste but this I could throughly enjoy), right amount of savory seasoning. We also got the tabouleh salad which was so refreshing.

Since we went on Saturday, one of my nephews got the special - burger and it was delicious! I think it was lulu (lamb and beef blend) turned into a huge patty. It was his favorite. Another dish we had was kabobs plate, the rice was so good. So I have not had anything that did not taste good from there.

The owner makes everything fresh, service was FANTASTIC, waitress/cashier we had was so friendly, and just the right amount of attentive. “I ordered the chili relleno plate. They have a limited supply of chili rellenos so you have to call ahead to make sure you can order them. They are fresh and stuffed with fresh quest fresco cheese. Cooked in a flavorful red sauce. The rice and beans are probably some of the best iv had at any mexican food restaurant. Iv only ate here one time but I think that is going to change. I will for sure order the chili rellenos again. I forgotnto mention they make fresh homemade corn torillas too. Also sorry the pic i am adding is a pic after I took a few bites lol.“

“It's a typical American diner with an overwhelming menu - almost all things you can imagine are there! We had breakfast - waffles with apples and pancakes with bacon and egg. All was freshly made and tasty. Lovely staff, very eager to suggest something, helpful. The place itself is a bit vintage, a bit kitchy (a lot of random apple figures, paintings, etc), but it has its charm as well! Overall, that was a nice spot to have breakfast before hitting the road.“

We are on the road for about 6 hours and rolled into Exeter for work late… starving about an hour before closing. Dinner was most excellent.. that potion they call salsa is fantastic… we went back the next day with our client in tow .. :-) .. but that salsa … got a tub to take home (safely cradled in its own seatbelt all the way back home). I’d say this place is well worth the drive and overnight stay in town 😎. As to what to recommend… all of it ..“

It’s not their fault it’s just the way it is at the moment. As far as service goes, it all depends on who’s working. If Kristin (owner)is there you are going to get great service. She wants you to return. She gets it. Unfortunately if Renee (owner)is there service can vary depending on who’s in the restaurant. She seems to be very chatty; and that’s the problem. She forgets shes working and service suffers. We will drive up, look in the window to see who’s working. It’s gotten that bad.“

“Really love the food. The take out service is good. The 3 stars on the atmosphere is because it is so loud in this restaurant. It may seem like a petty critique, but when you can't hear yourself at your own table. It's a problem. It's been loud for years.
