“One of our favorites for burritos. The Chili Relleno Burrito is excellent and could pass as vegetarian, but not vegan. My favorite is the Camarones burrito. Salsas are fresh and tasty. Though we generally get burritos, all of their items are well prepared and tasty. Quiet atmosphere - no blaring music, and I like the simple decor. It is a Boulder Creek staple for us!“

“I was on a lunch break from work today, my route was in Santa Cruz and asked google for the nearest Taco Spot. It recommended me this place. Very nice corner spot and great seating area. I ordered 1 Al Pastor taco and 1 asada quesadilla just to try out the food quality. Honestly the meat was absolutely delicious!!!! Their meat is very well seasoned and the tortilla for my taco is made by hand or how we say in Spanish “Tortillas hechas a mano.” Absolutely fire 🔥 Told the owner “Memo” that his food was absolutely delicious 🤤 and definitely coming back for more when I’m in the area next time! Definitely worth the money if you want quality tacos & burritos, and no more
Taco Bell for me 🙅‍♂️ hahahaha“

“Don't knock it just because it is in the mall. This is by far one of the best mexican food joints I have ever been at. The food is amazing! The meat is always seasoned beautifully. “I came here on a sunny day in January around 12.30ish.
I ordered at the counter and tried to look for a table - but didn't find any - so got takeout
As soon as I was done I saw a table empty out - and I took that one.
The staff was kind enough to accomodate the change.
The patio view is superb and the tacos 💯
I got the chips and guac - guac was fresh, and had the creamy feel of the avocado and the salsas were spicy and tangy , the chips were crispy and the little sprinkle of salt made all the difference
The fish taco has fried fish and the taco was a great crunchy one with the spicy and crispy feels
The shrimp taco is a little warm taco with grilled shrimp and a little mellow sauces .

Dietary restrictions: Refried beans not made with pork/lard for a change so and no chicken stock/stock in the Spanish rice so was able to get for once. Server was accommodating when checking that everything was vegetarian for me. ❤️“

“Loved this place when I lived in SC. After retiring I traveled the country for a few years and moved to SC from Tempe to be a surf bum for a year. The dude who runs this joint was always super cool and he always had 2 tacos and a beer ready. If, like me, you have your stuff stolen by the shrubbery living under the wharf (IYKYK), you can always get a hot, free side of beans and rice before they open at the walk-up window by saying ‘beans and rice for Jesus Christ’. 11/10 need to go back and hit the Lane.“

“El Toro Bravo was closed for 391 days following a Christmas Day gas explosion, that destroyed the apartment attached to the back of the restaurant. Luckily no one was seriously hurt!

We are so blessed to have El Toro Bravo back. The same great menu and warm friendly staff. I got the tacolotta and my wife enjoyed some taquitos. The sweet enchiladas sauce will entice you to eat the whole thing (pro tip ask for a to go box so you can save some)
