“The donuts are sweet, fluffy and delicious. I've tried a few different ones and liked them all. That cream cheese donut is unique and super yummy. I don't say that lightly, I am a picky donut eater. The ladies here have always been friendly and helpful. The shop is pleasant and clean. Don't miss out!“

“I have lived in the area for about two years and just discovered this place. Please don't go, I don't want it to get busy.
It is truly a gem and the books that are shared with guests show how much the owner loves what they do, and that is felt in every aspect of the restaurant. Highly recommend, but regret having to do so!“

“As a Brazilian I can say without a doubt this is the most authentic Brazilian food you'll get in Santa Cruz. Excellent staff/ service, yummy traditional Brazilian dishes, amazing appetizers, excellent selection of drinks and oh may the deserts!!!! This place rocks and will hopefully be with us for a very long time. Family owned.“

⭐️A HUGE selection of pastries, sandwiches, breakfast, sweet treats and more! I got an Italian sandwich, a shrimp artichoke salad (delishhhh!), and a lovely mini pumpkin cheesecake. ⭐️
We are definitely going back here this trip! Parking is somewhat difficult to find, would recommend parking around the block.“

“I can’t say enough good things about Brad, Linda, and staff. They are wonderful to be around and everyone really cares about the food. There is something on the menu for the vast majority of eaters. The garden on site is walkable and absolutely gorgeous. For food: beef cheeks, fried chicken, and any pasta you care for. Wine: a broad selection of interesting bottles Non-alcoholic: lemonade 😋“

“Absolutely delicious, we cleaned our plates ☺️ we got the chicken and beef brisket plates and they were both fresh and perfectly balanced. The pomegranate matcha latte was excellent as well.
ETA: the food was so good we also got a shawarma wrap to share. It was SO good; I usually hate dill but these chefs are such experts that it actually complemented the flavors of the wrap and I found myself enjoying the flavor of dill for the first time in my life 😆“

“This is my favorite booth at SAP when I go to Sharks games. You can see the arepas being grilled fresh and the fillings are so flavorful. The owners are very welcoming. I’m looking forward to the opening of their San Jose location since I haven’t been able to make it to Santa Cruz.“

“Really good place for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and basically for every person that likes good food. The seating is in a patio area, when it rains it will be more take away. Very great verity of food.
We orders lots of items and all were just great.
Highly recommend the coconut coffee (on oat milk)“

“Delicious and fast service. Coffee wasn't the best but the free refills were great.
The real standout was the Sourdough pancakes. I got them with seasonal fruit and whipped cream (bananas and walnuts this week) and splurged on real maple syrup. Super delicious and reasonably priced.“

“We went there last week and it was a great experience. We came in just in time because it wasn’t busy yet. We got the only table by the window and it made it special for our occasion. The drink I had ordered wasn’t available so they suggested another one which was ginger beer and I liked it! It was a refreshing drink. The charcuterie board was delicious too! Everything was amazing. My girl and I had a great time and the waitress gave us a complimentary drink with our dinner. Thank you. We will surely go back again!“

“This is hands down the best vegetarian pizza I’ve ever had. Yes Pizza my Heart is great but Village Host has bubbly crunchy crust and the pieces are weighed down and soggy like PMH. The bottom is still hard holding up the Vege covered pizza! I’m obsessed w them. Little pricey but worth it as a treat. Cheese is great too! Always polite and cool people working too. More people need to know about them!“

“Small but wonderful little sushi place! Place looks unassuming and like a standard sushi joint but you have to try their Peruvian style sashimi! Each piece of fish has its own unique sauce and it was all really delicious. The orange sauce which was also on some rolls is so bright and delicious!
