“Such a great place! My boyfriend and I came in at 8:50 on a random week night. I knew they closed at 9 and felt super bad. I asked the waitress if it was OK and of course she said yes. The food was fast and very good. BUT, the staff!!!! Omg, these 2 women were wonderful!! They were so nice. never made us feel rushed, were very attentive, had casual conversations and even hooked us up with a generous to go container for the super good salsa. Atmosphere and food were great, but the ladies really made it a great experience! Can't wait to go back!“

“Reasonably priced and local homestyle eats in a cozy setting right on Main Street. Fluffy and soft biscuits smothered in the perfect amount of just-peppery-enough sausage gravy, excellent bacon, and good coffee in a large cup with free refills. Friendly and attentive staff. Quick service.“

“Told about this place by hotel staff in nearby Scotia. Quick acknowledgement and seating by friendly staff. Limited seating but there was room for the three of us. Large portions! We ordered the Monte Cristo and the Country Benedict. Omg soooooo good!! We couldn’t finish it all. Highly recommend this place!!!“
“I recently called simply to ask a question about there rum when I saw it again in a whole foods. I haven't shopped there for a long time, so it was a great surprise to find it. Abe was put on the phone, and what a great guy! He answered all the questions and even then some.For their spirits, I've been a fan of their rum for a while, it was just difficult for me to get ahold of. It has a very, very small amount of caramelized sugar added after distillation, and I'm normally a purist when it comes to my rum. He also mentioned they had a vodka that was MADE from sugar cane, which happened to be there too. All in all, I walked away with three bottles, expecting not to get any.Great products made by great people who are willing to take the time out of their day to discuss it with you!“

“Double Ds is seriously one of our favorite places to go! I can NEVER go wrong with the filet mignon with bacon and blue cheese 🤤 It’s one of my absolute favorites! And their Black & Blue salad is amazing too. Sometimes I switch it up and get it with crispy chicken instead, and it’s SO good!
The full bar is another huge plus—I love their lemon drops! 🍋 And if you happen to go on karaoke nights, it makes the whole experience even more fun. 🎤
What I love most is that my kids literally ask to go here for dinner because we always have the best experience. The food, the staff, the atmosphere, the appetizers included with dinner…there are so many things to love!
Definitely one of those places we keep coming back to, and I can’t recommend Double D enough! ❤“

“GREAT VALUE. Food was above average. The arancini was FANTASTIC and could have been served at any FINE dining establishment. The eggplant rollatini was good(would order again), the chicken parm was cooked perfectly though maybe would choose a vodka sauce for the pasta it was served with. The other dish, the pasta alla norma(eggplant was excellent). We are definitely coming back(we drove from Westport just to give it a try). A pleasant surprise and must say, the leftovers of the large portions, did not go to waste!“

“Holy moly, 😨 the steak Diane was immaculate the steak was so tender and the mushroom sauce made it so flippen delicious, and the mashed potatoes were amazing 😍. And don't get me started on the garlic bread I don't know what the chef was doing back there, because that was the best bread I have ever had. And our server Brittany was so sweet and made the experience 10 times better. I can't wait to come back. 😋“

“We recently held an 80th Birthday Party for my Mom in Hunan's Private Event Dining Room for 40 people. Wow! Perfect Venue! There were options on the menu for vegans, omnivores, and everyone in between. The food was delicious, affordable, and everyone had a great time.
