“We were referred to your restaurant by a sweet lady from Guernville. Being originally from the bay and now living in the Midwest we were pleasantly surprised when we stopped in to your place. From the first hello we knew your place would be amazing boy I'm still craving your chorizo burrito and my husband is craving the tamales. You treated us like family from the moment we walked in. I'm already dreaming of planning our next trip out there. We hope to make it an annual trip. Everytime we will be at your place for amazing food? Wonderful to meet you both. “Loved this place. The staff was super friendly, great service. I had the special - it was a mole enchilada that was fantastic (they called it the Enmoladas). I also had a margarita that I really liked called the Paloma Mia. I will definitely come back here!“

“I tried the Steak tacos as well as the Carnitas tacos. I spent $15 on 3 tacos + the tip which is not bad. I definitely want to try out the Taco Tuesday! Tacos are supposedly $1.50 + tax on taco Tuesdays from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Food was absolutely perfect. The tacos were hot and very fresh, the tortillas were soft and fresh and steamy. I'm super picky about tacos, but I loved every bite.

The tacos were topped with the usual toppings. Onions, cilantro, and salsa. Everything was salted and seasoned perfectly.

My only complaint was that half the chips in my (free) bag of chips were a little stale and they didn't have enough salt.

But the chips were free and they are made in house! The fresh chips taste so good because it's obvious that they fry them here.

Overall thoughI have no complaints. I was very happy with my food here, and I will visit again.“

“My sister and I had a delicious dinner at Mi Tierra Restaurant. Everything was excellent! We had Ceviche Tostadas, chips with salsa and a side of guacamole. Granada Margaritas. And a cup of coffee. “I really miss Sonoma Taco Shop and their McDougall vegan menu. I've sampled alot of veggie burritos in SoCo, and Ochoas is the real deal. It was the just right balance of rice, beans and steamed broccoli, cauliflower and carrots wrapped in a chewy whole wheat tortilla. The red and green salsas are both really flavorful. So glad to have found them and to hear they have a restaurant in Santa Rosa with same menu. I'll be back!“

“I frequent taco trucks, but hadn’t tried this gem near me until today. I tried the al pastor and pollo tacos (3.50 for a little larger than typical street taco size), and they were full of meat and were incredibly flavorful and juicy. I find it so hard to find juicy flavorful chicken tacos, and these were great. Some of the best al pastor I’ve had outside of Mexico. The salsas are also amazing (esp the green) and the chips are warm thin perfection. The guy at the truck is also super nice. Will DEFINITELY be going back.“

“I asked someone at a nearby business where I could find good Mexican food nearby and they suggested Martin's Taqueria. I'm sure glad they did. I had the Carne Asada plate with my choice of black beans. It had a generous amount of delicious perfectly seasoned meat cooked with just the right amount of char. The garnish was fresh and crisp and it came with sour cream and guacamole. My friend had the vegetarian Super burrito and was also impressed with his meal. “A small taqueria near downtown Healdsburg and the town square. Homey not pretentious. Good food it's a bit pricey, but it's the area, and priced accordingly.
Authentic home style Mexican cooking. I had the shrimp diablo. Very spicy 🔥. Beans were authentic, creamy made with manteca. The rice was nice and fluffy and not dry. Served with flour tortillas.
A good change of food pace compared to the matheson 101 and other restaurants near the town square.

Parking: Town square has very limited parking. You may need to park a good walking distance from the shops and restaurants located in the Towne square.“

“I ordered a California burrito with chorizo instead of steak. They were happy to accommodate and also made sure I knew the chorizo would be a different texture than most of the other meats. I order chorizo all the time but since they have the translation (pork sausage) on the menu, I thought this was really nice as it could be helpful for folks who haven’t had chorizo. All of the staff were super friendly. The burrito was one of the best I’ve ever had. I also loved the Jamaica, which wasn’t over sweetened like many other places. Overall fabulous experience!

We also had a tamale plate stuffed with very tender pork that practically melts in the mouth. And the 'bistec de coliflor', like the above-mentioned quesadilla, is a vegetarian dish with well-balanced flavor and excellent texture. Everything we tasted, from the guacamole to the entrées, provided us with an impression of freshness and authenticity. Highly recommend this place!“

It seems to me that they are set up there to serve hungry employees who work in the assorted industrial business buildings in that area. Not great scenery or ambience and the wait time was longer than expected with only 2 other people waiting for their orders.
