“Great food, large portions at a great price. Has a mix of foods, Thai and crepes. Aa to the crepes they have combinations I’ve not seen before, i.e. Indian inspired. Staff are very pleasant. Offers indoor and outdoor seating.“

“We are big Thai fans and this little gem was a win. Food was good quality and the real star of the show was the service. The team made sure we had everything we needed and kept water and drinks topped up. I requested my entree customized and they accommodated with a smile. Atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and it’s great for both a casual dinner or one with family.“

“Siam is a wonderful, family run restaurant on El Camino Real in Palo Alto. It became one of our favorite family restaurants during the pandemic shutdown and we still order from there at least once a month (more likely every 2 weeks). My wife and one son are vegan, and there is plenty for them to choose from. She very much likes the Rama made with tofu and extra spicy. The Tom Khar soups (coconut milk) come with chicken or with vegetables and tofu. Curries are extra good. I always end up with a yellow curry (with chicken or seafood or calamari) and red curry with beef.
Moreover the couple that runs it are very friendly and accommodating. Two thumbs way up on this one.“

“Good food, friendly staff and large portions. Very accommodating for larger groups, we had 12 people in our party and called already, no problem. Green curry was excellent, some of the best I've ever had, the fresh thai basil made all the difference and somehow achieved the Thai favor without being over the tip spicy.“

“We went here and had the most amazing tom kha soup. Like in my lifetime I've eaten a lot of Thai Tom kha soups, but this one tops all of them. We are planning to come back a million more times for their soup. It had the sweet, it had the sour, it was the perfect ratio for everything. I'm still reminiscing about it.
We also had other dishes and they were great, packed with a lot of flavors except the cucumber salad which was bland and not so exciting.
This is our new favorite Thai restaurant!!!“

“This is a nice Thai BBQ place. We got Phad See-Ew with chicken, Chef's Special Seafood Combo Plate which came with Shrimps, scallops, mussels, squid. Fried shrimp & fried calamari, with a chicken fried rice. Everything was good except I felt the fried calamari and fried shrimp had to much breading on them we ended taking some of the breading off. Overall everything had good flavor, also the prices listed online are not the correct prices in store.“

“Papaya Thai is a Bay Area treasure. My wife and I stumbled upon it while looking for a good place to have lunch after running an errand in Newark. We had Lamb Yellow Curry Stew and Pad Thai with Shrimp. The lamb was perfectly cooked in a rich yellow curry with potatoes and carrots. The meat was as tender as you can possibly imagine. The Pad Thai was mixed with a sweet sauce that was slightly sticky, which I like so the noodles adhere to each other. I don’t know if this is traditional, but really like Pad Thai like that.“

“Went there for the first time during lunch time. It wasn't at all crowded. Even though there was only one server, she was very nice and attentive.
I have tried Pad See Ew at many Thai restaurants in the area and I would say this is the best in town. However, I ordered medium spicy and it came out spicer than I expected. So be mindful about that.
Can't wait to come back to try other dishes.“

“We are vegetarian, and we had such a great meal! They modified the yellow chicken curry with tofu, and they were nice enough to clarify with us that we didn't want fish sauce!
It was really tasty. The flavors were there. Give this place a chance. It's often missed in PA, but we'll be coming back again for the awesome food!“

“This Thai halal spot never misses! I always order the broccoli beef with a big side of rice — the flavor and portions are perfect every single time. Fresh, consistent, and absolutely delicious. One of my go-to places when I want something satisfying and full of flavor in Newark! 🍛🔥“

“Worked in mall so this is my regular go-to place. Eat here at least twice a week. Food is good and fresh. Service is good. Many stores staff eat here regularly too. So I don’t understand how did other reviewer saying get sick from this store. I will still eat here, and while I’m waiting for the food, I heard other customers came to compliment the food is good too.“

“A little shop in the stripe serving skinless moist chicken over rice. Comes with sauce and soup for take out. The chicken is not gamey which is big plus for me. Healthy choice. It’s refreshing over fried/oily food. I only wish they gave a little more veggie and sauce or ask if we’d like some sauce over the rice. I found the sauce not enough for my chicken and rice but still delicious. Would def return when around the area.“

“Loved the vegetarian options and there are a good number of them. The spicy veggie fried rice and chuchee tofu curry were both amazing. They were very flavorful and had good amounts of tofu and veggies (and babycorn). Medium spice was good for me. I also tried the crispy corn, it tasted good but wasn't very crispy probably because of takeout.“
