“As far as coffee shops go, this place is definitely on the right end of the spectrum. First of all, THANK YOU to whoever is responsible for selecting the music. With jazz playing at a very respectful volume, I was actually able to enjoy my experience without noise canceling headphones. The ambiance is wonderful, slightly old-timey with lots of owl-themed decor. The chai was delicious, but I wasn’t impressed by the iced banana bread latte, which was slightly bitter and a bit watery. The drinks are pretty pricey (I paid $16 for 2 smalls), but I can honestly overlook that because of the incredible customer service we received from the older gentleman at the register. There was also an employee with a mustache who I found was equally dedicated to excellent customer service—really appreciate this! Also, great corner location. Coffee shops like this are hard to find nowadays. I highly recommend!“

As we stepped inside, the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee immediately filled the air, confirming that this was a place where the craft of coffee was taken seriously. My sister chose the Orange Bianco, an intriguing blend that paired the bright, zesty flavor of orange with rich, creamy coffee—an unexpected but delightful combination. I opted for the Spanish Latte, one of their 525 Signature Coffee offerings. Smooth, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced, it was absolutely delicious and satisfying without being overpowering. We couldn’t help but notice that the shop also offered a tempting selection of pastries, adding another reason for customers to linger and enjoy their time here. The space felt thoughtfully designed for real coffee lovers—those who are willing to put up with the slight inconvenience of street parking just to enjoy a quality, well-crafted brew.“

“Stopped by PlayCoffee and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Sudachi Matcha Tonic and a cold brew, and both drinks came out quickly.
The Sudachi Matcha Tonic was excellent. It was very matcha forward with a subtle citrus note. Not overly bright like a yuzu tonic, but just enough citrus to notice as you sip, allowing the matcha to remain the focus. The cold brew was also well done. Smooth, not bitter, and with plenty of body. Very easy to drink.
I also really liked how the space is laid out. They repurposed shipping containers in a thoughtful way, creating clearly separated seating areas. There is an outdoor section, an indoor section with bathrooms, and a main kitchen area where you order drinks and browse merchandise. The layout feels intentional and works well even when the shop is busy.
Looking back, we probably should have asked about the beans because the coffee was good enough that we would have happily picked up a bag or two to take home.
Quick service, well executed drinks, and a unique space make PlayCoffee a spot worth revisiting. I will definitely be back to try more from their menu.“

“No cap one of my best encounters at a coffee shop in my life, I mean first off the vibes are it. So chill and warm and homey vibes! The service was outstanding cashier guy(sorry didn’t get his name) jsut a nice person with great personable skills. The barista very gentle and dedicated to achieving customer satisfaction. Literally couldn’t decide between Spanish latte or pumpkin latte, they offered to combine them! What that’s awesome I was so down for it and it was delicious and the vibes between the whole crew was like from a movie just cute playful banter , that made you think, wow what a nice bunch! “we got the matcha tiramisu latte and the sweet corn cream latte. matcha was 4.5/5, the cream top is made with mascarpone so it’s not overly sweet and has a nice flavor. it also comes with a lady finger which is a cute touch. the matcha itself was strong and rich but not sweetened which i enjoyed. the sweet cream corn latte was a solid latte but the corn flavor was lacking. the cereal topping was fun!“

“Young kid at the counter today 09/06/2025 with exceptional customer service and enthusiasm. I live seeing our youth so involved in compassion and kindness. Ordered an oreo donut with cream filled heaven, a churro donute with caramel, and my grandson had an M&M cereal killer. So soft, not too sweet, and mouthwatering goodness. It was a 45 minute drive from our home, but I told him we will return. Highly recommend.“

“Stellar service at store 541! I went through the drive through and Sergio kept it real with great humor and a warm welcome. I usually get coffee but wanted something refreshing and he recommended a strawberry açaí lemonade. It tastes amazing and was exactly what I was looking for. Always appreciate my baristas and Sergio demonstrated why!“
